She can use katsuyu to protect herself and heal Naruto and Sasuke while inside of katsuyu. If Sakura was there when they got stabbed they would've won because jigen was so weakend that he couldn't beat Base narutos shadow clones with one attack.

Probably for suspense like a moment of triumph only for the enemy to turn the tables in a blink and now the fight turns into a desprate attempt to beat the enemy.
It's like Ishiki theme of saying, even if there's two God of Shinobis its not going to be enough. Hence the drop.
This is just my take on the music.
