Thanks KWL! I don't know how long they'll last. I think taking a little counter sink reamer and cleaning that top edge up couldn't hurt. IDK how you'd get to the under side. Maybe thin strip of sand paper through the hole.
@@axsomoutdooradventures Thanks AODA! It’s a new experiment for me as well. Don’t know how long the tubes will last in this set up. That’s why it’s always good to wear eye protection. Have a great Fourth of July!
Thanks brother! I did a rough job on it. I was just experimenting on it to see how that would hold the tubes. I misspoke. Those are 1636 tubes. I think 2040 would go in that same hole. Might have to use a string to pull it through the top hole. IDK how long the tubes will last like that. Just have to try it and see.
BigDH2000 did not come up with the Wave attachment method, Peppermack did. He also made a few frames with the hole out the top like you have on that Spitfire.
Thanks Jeremy! I should have worded that different. What I should have said was I borrowed and idea for a modified version Bigdh2000 did with the wave attachment. Mostly to do with having the slot beside the hole but going back I still didn't cut the slot where he did. Here's his take on it. ua-cam.com/video/9RTtAviRe3Y/v-deo.html
Best way for shooting quick i reckon, my big ol tubes last forever on a natural frame like that , i just countersunk the holes at the top 👍👍 good job
Thanks mate! You are very good with that fork as well!
Still quick! Now that’s an idea with the top holes. Reckon it will wear the tubes more or less at the top?

Awesome looking attachment method brother, I like that a lot!!👍🔥👊
Thanks Andy! I borrowed some ideas and put them together. Don't know how durable they'll be like that. Just have to try it and see.
great idea🙂👍
Thanks Barnim! I don’t know how long the tubes will last like that but time will tell.
You've inspired me to try a few new things, brother!! Thanks for sharing.

That's pretty slick. I like it!
Thanks Robert! IDK how the tubes will wear but time will tell.
I like that! If you perfect one let me know! 👊
That looks super nice

Nice modification!
Thanks Danny!
To me it would shoot about the same as tabs
On target 👊🏻
Thanks Rex! I was close shooting at a big target haha! Not as impressive as it looked.

@@forkshootertb96 No worries. Peppermack hasn't made a frame in a while and a lot of people have forgotten about him.
I’ll take it lol 👊🏻
I misspoke. The tubes are 1636.
