you ever run into a dude at the drag strip who has a stock looking Sportster, but it's an absolute rocket sled? You ask him about it and find out the dudes barely spent any money on it, and the bike is a monster running mid 10's... Harley did it right when they made that engine lol
My 2000 Harley Sportster Sport 1200S would run a 10.2 second 1/4 mile at 131mph. It was heavily modified and made 130hp, it would hold the front tire off the ground first two gears if you launched it just right. I had a heal shifter for years, but installed an air shifter the last couple of years owning it. Injuries I sustained in the Military eventually got the best of me and I had to give up racing. But for 21 years I lived life 1/4 mile at a time. I know Bobby Wood who makes Woods Cams, he made my cams for my Sportster. I highly recommend Woods Cams for any Harley, he test dynos them with D&D Exhaust and that's what he recommends running for best performance. My CVO Roadglide 110" makes 116hp and 128tq with the TW777 at the wheel and 90% of that torque starts below 2000rpm. It pulls like a freight train.
My dyna s was faster than a stock hayabusa that turned 9.7 at the all out dyno drags against my dyna s that turned 9.6 ..its document if you have any doubts ...that is the advertised 1/4 mile for the busa ...but ill be honest i did see him turn in the high 8.90s earlier that day ..and he said he had never raced anything and the dyno drags was his 1st...and i wasnt looking to beat a busa but was hopping i could run in the 10s ..so it was all good
Love your videos. Very informative and fun to watch. I currently have a 2022 road glide special with S&S 132 inch barrels woods 22x cam with stock heads and Thundermax tuner. Don't know how fast it is but pulls away from all my buddy's stock bikes
Awesome video. The bike runs good I also have a RG with a 475 cam. I just need the big bore. S&S has the 132 kit now so maybe I'll look into that with a star 3/4 cam.
With your 60 ft times, 7.20's in the eigth, 11.50's in the quarter, your bike mirrors my old bracket car I ran at Norwalk in the 90's. If you leave on the 3rd amber, you'll be right on top of the tree. (perfect 0.00 reaction time). From there you adjust your rollout by slightly varying your front tire inflation. I know, sounds crazy, but a few pounds either way makes a noticable difference, with very careful and consistent staging. You do a good job of riding, if you learn the tree, you'll go rounds - Dan
Harley still dont make a compensating sprocket strong enough for stage 4 ..i should of changed it our for a regular sprocket myself at home and not tell anyone and i probably would have still had it
I just picked up a set of S&S 128 piston and cylinders for my 2021 Road Glide Limited. I have a very similar set up for performance with the exception of the cam, I’ve got the Zippers 472. Do you still like the 128 and do you feel a bunch of heat of the bike?
used to drag bike A lot back in the day just A legal street bikes I had a little trick for the Christmas tree when you pull up you go all the way up till it turns red then you back up and when it hits red you pull up a tiny bit and you can go immediately on the last yellow most likely not red light I would usually hit in The low 500s it’s about playing with the tree
what handle bars have you got there? they look like ape hanger drag bars. I have been searching for something similar , something with near zero pull back.
So the can you put in is smaller. Can you expand some on the why and the secondary advantages. I’m think of this toss a 119 big kit but in NewEngland it’s hill territory. So I want low end there but kicking in the mid and upper end. Am I on TRACK? Ps newbee
Check it out man it's not this hard why don't you put someone in the middle of the track with an expensive camera so we can see the full race and see who wins the race
Your miles per hour are low on the other end cause your clutch is slipping ...baker clutches and transmission King Kong Klutch is your only answer He uses 20 clutch plates from a Cadillac STS automatic transmission clutch pack ...stock cadillac Parts nothing rare or unusual
Your upgrades cost more than my whole ass bike... that's a triumph rocket with 210 hp and 169tq lol making hardleys fast is expensive, and kinda stupid when there are other things way faster for cheaper.

I had a guy one time say “ my uncle has Harley that would keep up with your 14R” I just chuckled and said “ no.. he doesn’t “

Wow! That drone is so fast! I wonder what the 60' ET/speed, 660' & 1320' numbers are for that drone?
That Simpson helmet is fuckin dope!!!
Nice garage!
Runs good 👍

Yes!
A chain vs a belt drive???
Great video, are you running a chain vs a belt???
I'm still running the stock belt.
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS Oh wow that is awesome!!! Thanks for the response.
Could have raced my slow ass busa in the heads up class 😅
I’m surprised you don’t have a quick shifter on this thing yet
Need one.
3rd, 4th, & 5th you shouldn't be shifting. Let off the throttle, tranny goes right in gear.
@@greghinchley6277 sure if you wanna grenade the trans
@@loweredyote8416 hrs at the strip between 3 of us. All stock trannys on stage 4's. The way I described is common practice.
