Great haul. I mentioned to you before that I recently hit the clearance sales at Lowe's on my way home from Colorado and then Home Depot close to my town. I didn't know "Chad's" name at the time, but he sure encouraged me to buy a load of trees and shrubs. I was on my way to buy groceries and popped in 'just to see' what was on sale. I never was able to get groceries since there was no more room in the van. Oh boy! Now I am doing like you said in your video, looking for a place to plant them. I have already decided to gift some to friends who have the room for them. One of my friends lost her entire garden to a super bad hailstorm a few weeks ago. So, she will be happy to have them. Thanks to Chad! 😉😉🌲🌻🌸
That was a total score!!! the "Lets Dance Can Do" especially! I have a few "Bloomstruck" ( 3 I believe) and not one of them has rebloomed for me this year. they are pretty young just planted two last year and one the year prior. I am hoping that they grow a strong root system this year and hopefully the winter isn't as bad and wont kill all the buds🤞
Just bought a large $10 on sale Jurassic Fern, too for my parent’s woodland garden. Only been planted for a few weeks but so far, she’s looking full and fabulous. Also got them a Bloomstruck Hydrangea for the front of their house and it’s in more sun than they really should be (zone 6a, Ontario). She was really wilty for the first few weeks (they are drama queens, macro hydrangeas, aren’t they?!) but she’s looking great now a few months in. We have been blessed with a very rainy summer here, mind you, so I would say just plan to water it a lot in drier, hotter locations until it’s established but beyond that, it seems to be one of the more easy-care macro’s. Strong stems, too (annabelle’s are all dragging on the ground but the Bloomstruck is tall and proud).
Great selection. I wish our Canadian stores would put perennials on sale. It’s rare. FYI I’m zone 4 (in usda) and we get our endless summer hydrangeas to bloom on old wood by pinning the stems down to the ground and covering with leaves/mulch. It’s the only way. I made a video about it on my channel. Take care, Cynthia
Omg beautiful plants I guess i have a friend chad without even knowing it. I love hydrangeas I have like 6 varieties. Great plant haul. You make my wish I had more room to have more plants.
I do not have good luck with bloomstruck hydrangeas in New Hampshire. The old wood is always killed back and the blooms on new wood, if any, don’t come until September
Will you be over wintering all of your plants that you have in pots? Do you have a greenhouse or a basement with grow lights? I’m so sad to even start thinking about my plants dying off due to the cold weather😩😭🥶
I'm interested in Let's Dance Can Do Hydrangea, too & I live in Iowa City, IA (zone 5B)! Do they flop with rain? Do they flower next year? Thank you very much.

I had Chad at Woldhuis Sunrise Garden today. Love your channel Solied!
Hope you found some great plants! 🥰🍀🌼💐
Thank you Sunshine, great haul. 🌺💚🙃
Love your new plants. Nice.
Love your fall selections! Beats the run of the mill mum plant😂. Hope you bought CHAD lunch, fab score Soleil.
It was a fun haul for sure! 🙃🍀🪴🌺
Great haul! I love the color of the sweet potato vines and rudbeckia! And hydrangeas, of course!
Great haul Soleil! 🪴🪴🪴
Great plants!
Just bought a Rubeckia on clearance wow is it beautiful
Love those rudbeckias! I'm hoping some some things go on sale at my local store soon!
Great plants!!! So, you mentioned that the rudebeckia is annual, I thought that was a perennial in your zone?
I was wondering also
I believe there are some that are perennial and some that are annual.
Yes, there are some that are annuals and some perennials. 🤗🌺🌼🌸
So envy you. We are moving out of state next spring and I cannot buy any new plants. My job is to decide which plants I'm taking with us.
Your local Lowe's and nursery have a great selection!
Oh that would be hard to choose, good luck! 🤗☘️⚘️🌸
Have you ever tried overwintering the sweet potato vine? I’m thinking of trying that this year.
I did last year and didn't do well. May try again... 😄🌺🪻🪷

I have the fern and it looks great in dryer part shade but when it is dry I do water then. I am in 7b zone.
Thank you for sharing, Debbie! 🥰🌼🌷🪷

I won't really start thinking about it for a few weeks, maybe mid September. 🙃🌺🪴🌹
I'm interested in Let's Dance Can Do Hydrangea, too & I live in Iowa City, IA (zone 5B)! Do they flop with rain? Do they flower next year? Thank you very much.
This is it's first full year in my garden but no significant flopping so far. They come back every year. 🥰🌺🪴🌹
Score❤
My thoughts too!! 😉🌴🌼🌻
