"In 2015, some of Waverider’s colleagues deviate towards the industrial, harder side of the hardstyle. Others nowadays lower their regular 150 BPM, towards a crossover EDM kind of hardstyle. Waverider does what he does best; producing hardstyle in its purest form. Hardstyle as it should be; forceful kicks, energetic vocals and a captivating melody. As a result, ‘Code Red’ is Waverider’s mark on the contemporary hardstyle scene. Premiered during the international Amsterdam Dance Event, ‘Code Red’ will be “on every face” in 2015.
By producing this track, Waverider continues his musical story of energetic hardstyle. A journey that started in 2010, and included hits like ‘Be As One’, ‘TMU (ft. Audiofreq)’ Have You (ft. Noisecontrollers) and collaborations with Max Enforcer and Digital Punk ever since.
The finishing, essential touch to ‘Code Red’ was made by Pyke, a vocalist known from the Dutch TV show X-Factor. With a beautiful voice like his, Waverider will undoubtedly be “rocking the place” in 2015."

I like the fact that the video is not like 80% of the Hardstyle videos (videos with chicks from the crowds, etc. you know what I mean). The track is great too! I love the vocals :)

Waverider is an amazing producer.. not sure what happened to the quality and composition here.. a good track none the less. Anyone who thinks all hardstyle sounds the same, has probably only listened to 2 songs lol
The mid-intro sounds themself are pretty good, but I think the whole intro sounds too basic, I would have preferred a long buildup instead (even though I normally have the opinion mid-intros definately shouldn't be left out in Hardstyle), but on this track it would emphasize the amazing atmosphere more. Another thing is, the kick sounds a bit blurry, a bit more firmness in the punch would've sounded good.
Nevertheless, this is a top track and definately one of my favourites at the moment. The vocalist did an amazing job and finalizes the great - a bit oldschoolish like - atmosphere.

Hardstyle has come to a standstill. Every single track sounds EXACTLY the same. It happened to hardcore as well - everyone was using the same loops, the same kick and the same hoover over and over and over again - and it was unbearable to listen to in the end. Hardcore evolved, and so should hardstyle.
2014 is the year of hardstyle: NC, Hard Driver, Prophet, Zatox, Titan, Minus Militia album. Be positive!!!!
Hardstyle has evolved though, listen to it 5 years ago and compare it to now
it's getting near house which sounds all the same. hungering for the hardstyle of 2006-2010
