Omg you guys. I'm in tears. I love this song so much and it's helped me release so many emotions lately. Even with songs that are clearly meant to express feelings towards a romantic love I still relate to certain lines and apply them to my situations. This song makes me think of my dad. We didn't have a great relationship for my entire life...only since he got sick did our relationship mend. I always had issues with never being good enough in his eyes, or at least not as good as my big brother. He could sometimes say things that hurt me, even though I know he never meant it. Since losing him, I hate this feeling of heartbreak but at the same time, I need it because it shows me how much he meant to me. I think that song describes some of my feelings perfectly. Anyways, I'm rambling. Thank you guys for doing this one! Love you fam!
I relate to this song on such a painful level, everytime I listen to it I feel like he's singing my heart's content out. It has been almost half a year since my boyfriend ended it out of a sudden. No fight, nothing. He just left. And it left me broken. I literally consumed MIW's music almost like trying to fill some of that void. The more you understand what Chris is talking about in this song, the deeper it gets.
