Avermedia has been going after streamers and content creators for a while now and when they released the AX310 Live Streamer Nexus, it really showed that they were trying to make hardware that catered to power users. Now they are releasing a new microphone called the Live Streamer Mic 350 (or AM350) which is condenser microphone that also has omnidirectional and cardoid selectable polar patterns...but even better, it comes with full featured audio routing software that also allows for SUBMIXES so you can tune exactly what YOU hear separately from what STREAM hears. They are really going after Elgato's Wave Link with this software they call VIBE ENGINE. So lets check it out and see if the mic, and the software, are any good!

Shoutout to that sweet Gateway laptop. Mic is solid sounding. Sounds like a slightly darker version of the AT2035 but with baked in USB connectivity and software flexibility that you'd need a physical interface for on any XLR mic. Great review, good takeaways!

at least 10,000 kbps. Ideally somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000. UA-cam has a crazy high limit, so as long your upload speed can handle it you should be good to crank it up (as compared to Twitch).

What is going on with your audio in this review? Either the mic settings are way off or something is wrong with the mic. It doesn't sound good. The bass in the voice sounds very recessed, voice is high-pitched (too many hissing sibilant "S" in the video), and the overall audio is low. You other videos don't sound like this and have good audio, so I'm not sure what is happening in this video. Maybe something happened with the audio stream with the upload? If this is really how the Avermedia sounds after Post, it is HORRIBLE. I would rather listen to audio from a phone mic.
Listening back to it, louder in my car system too, can't hear any issues. And haven't seen anyone point it out any similar complaints. May be something wrong with your audio config/equipment or the playback got bunged up somehow. At 12:03 I turn off the EQ setting I had been using so you can hear the mic raw though. Easy explanation about the other videos though, as no other video on the channel was shot using this mic.
ohhh gotcha! Yeah when you turn the eq off @ 12:03 the sound opens up a lot. I guess I just don't like eq configuration lol. Still.. listening to the AM 350 raw versus your video review of the El Gato Wave 3, the El Gato to me still sounds better. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. Appreciate it.@@CoalitionGaming
