I imagine that sometimes when Pure Vanilla looks into the mirror,he can see White Lily somewhere within the reflection as just a mere shadow.He’d turn around,thinking she was back but would see nothing.I’d also imagine that White Lily since she's now Dark Enchantress,she roams within the reflection of things,but disappears the moment she’s seen,seeing as Dark Enchantress has taken her over and maybe that’s just her soul roaming around.

I just noticed, before it said the fallen heroes were evil shadow milk looks different? And then after ir said they were evil shadow milk went back to their jester form. What im saying is i think shadow milk has 2 forms. Like at 1:08 look at shadow milk, dont they look different from the first time we saw them? Like at 1:27 they look different, compare 1:08 and 1:27. Dont they look awfully different? Another way to prove this is by the way the soul jams were put, the first one was on a staff thing, then for the jester one its on their neck or smth. idk why im saying this all lol

Sorta, but it's one of the previous Fallen Hero Cookies that came before the current Ancient Cookies we know of today.
Theory: I think the story will end by gingerbrave and his friends maybe holding the soul jams instead of the ancients like think about it gingerbrave and his friends resemble one of the ancients at least personally wise

Why does everybody think these are the same prologue…it’s obvious the fallen hero’s are the ancestors of our current ancients.

So, one possibility is that there are different kinds of Witches (good & evil) OR something happened to the Witches during the end of the chaos of iron & flame that turned them bad.
Maybe white Lily knowing the truth
Hmm...then that would mean the good witches made the fallen while the evil witches made the ancient heroes, very interesting...
It also might be a commentary on perspectives. Why did those cookies White Lily found say nothing? Likely, they were never alive to start with--a batch they can eat while they create life for the sake of CREATING.

The soul jam have their own will and ideals don't they? Like Pure Vanilla's Soul jam defines truth, Hollyberry's defines passion and so on. I wonder if the original holders had different ideals assigned to them, the only thing I can grasp is how Shadow Milk's design is a jester, which contrasts to Truth, they define Foolery and Lies which is completely the opposite of Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam's ideals.

Don’t forget that it looked like Shadow Milk was using cookies as marionette’s to fight in wars, so deceit and manipulation could be something he’s working with as well
for lilys soul jam, freedom, silent salt is a knight which are supposed to enfore laws and also had to abide under strict rules of chivalry, so that might be something. also eternal sugar who yielded passion was seen yawning which is NOT very passionate☠️
So for Pure Vanilla, his fallen is manipulative lies instead of Truth, Hollyberry's fallen is unyearning apathy instead of Passion, Dark Cacao's fallen is chaotic irresolution instead of Resolution, Golden Cheese's fallen is scarceness scarcity instead of Abundance, and finally White Lily's fallen is authoritarian order instead of Freedom.
There, that should work when it comes to creating opposites to all five of the ancient heroes
What's also interesting is that the soul jams when initially given to the fallen heroes are oriented the same way as the ancient heroes (the ones that can be distinctly flipped) but when they turn evil their soul jams are upside down. (Except for dark cacao's which is a diamond and looks the same when upside-down)
They get turned right side up again when with the ancient heroes
Simple fix:
Be the Pure Vessel from Hollow Knight. Then you can't be evil
But then you realize that you are actually a failed vessel and the radiance are slowly corrupting you and you have to let your siblings beat you to death and take your place

My theory is the witches are seperated into two camps, the first camps is the white witches wich is the good witches, in the other side there's the second camp, Black Withches wich is the bad witches and thats why there is a witches that want to make chaos upon the earthbread and the other one want to make peace and harmony upon the earthbread

My theory:
Since White Lily Cookie knew cookies were meant to be eaten she became Dark Enchantress Cookie and decided to go to Beast-Yeast and then, she saw the 5 fallen heroes emprisoned. She decides to free them in order to beat the Witches and came back in Earthbread with one only goal: take the Soul Jams. In fact, the fallen heroes manipulated her just to became what they used to be. She then proceeds to take their Soul Jams and fly away. Unfortunately, the journey to Beast-Yeast took too long and the Soul Jams came back to their "owners."
Now I answer some questions I might get:
How does she knows The Beast-Yeast Continent?
White Lily studied at Blueberry Institute and found out about the Beast-Yeast continent.
Why "owners"?
Since the current Owners of Soul Jams are derived from The fallen heroes' First Soul Jams.
Like
Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam is from Shadow Milk's Soul Jam,
Hollyberry's Soul Jam is from Eternal Sugar's Soul Jam,
Dark Cacao's Soul Jam is from Mystic Flour's Soul Jam,
Golden Cheese's Soul Jam is from Red Spice's Soul Jam,
And White Lily's Soul Jam is from Silent Salt's Soul Jam.
THEORY
The original prologue is the second phase, the new trailer is the first phase.
As said when chaos still reigned AND
when chaos has subsided.
The first witches were good, wanting to extinguish the flame and chaos into the world. So they made cookies; the first five or The Fallen. The Fallen did their hero stuff, saving worlds, building kingdoms, but one by one they became infected in a way. They became chaotic, tyrants, destroyed everything in their path. They became corrupted and destroyed everything. That’s because they were the first creations, they are bound to have imperfections and some defects. With the witches seeing what their creations have done. They locked them up, of course with leaders being locked up. There are still the people right? The other cookies or the Fallen’s followers. The corrupted things that the ancients fight in the original prologue. You can’t really lock up EVERYONE right? IK, it’s fine be a wild jump but I think the witches ate the others. HERE ME OUT:
Now the witches wanted to attempt again making powerful cookies, using the soul jam of the fallen/former five. They made new, powerful cookies, the ancients. And now yada yada, building kingdoms, leading others. But as the original prologue stated, chaos emerged. Which I suspect is the remaining followers of the fallen. The ones that didn’t get eaten. Cmon knowing that your leaders dies, then replaced by new people? That’s got to make them fight the ancients right? A revenge sort of thing. Now with one of the ancients, white lily cookie. She may have become corrupted as well. Because we know she is kind, and gentle. Unlike the other ancients which have strong wills.
That’s the problem, SHE IS TOO KIND AND GENTLE. She may have been convinced by the followers of the fallen. Maybe she spoke to them, talked them to stop the fighting. But instead they managed to convince her to join their side. Telling her that the first Five were imprisoned, and the others were eaten. That’s how she knew and came to conclude that cookies were made to be eaten. So she rebelled against the ancients and joined the darkness. Now note the difference of the narrators between the two videos.
First was an old female, second was a male. The female narrator may be dark enchantress cookie, painting the witches in a bad light since that’s what she thinks they are. They are gods that made cookies just to be eaten, when in reality. That’s not the case, they HAD to eat them to STOP THE CHAOS. For a clean slate. There are no bad witches, only good ones. Dark Enchantress cookie only makes them look bad.
Now dark enchantress cookie, believing that she is right and everybody against her is wrong. Is now on her way to free the fallen or the first five. Pure Vanilla Cookie knows this, because they USED to be classmates, USED to be so close, USED to be the bestest of friends. He knows what white lily cookie is plotting. That’s why it is shown in the new trailer that he is aboard an airship. Trying to beat white lily cookie/dark enchantress cookie to the locations of the first five. Trying to stop the first five from being freed so that the world won’t turn into chaos again.
I called the first batch of cookies the: First Five or The Fallen
NOTE: I KNOW my theory has a lot of holes, like what about the wizards? but I think it’s pretty plausible seeing what the game showed us lore wise so far. Remember friends, that’s just a theory. A GAME THEORY THANKS FOR READING

STOP I LOVE THIS THEORY. It honestly explains a lot of things, like why the witches are so different. I honestly really want Devsis to have an update where we learn more about the witches and wizards.

What we need is some good lore about the Witches.

Based on the lore, the witch was used to be pretty and kind, till GingerBrave was baked and ruined her spell by being a pretty person. That made the witch mad and becomes hating them cookies. That's why the witch(es) BEFORE GingerBrave were like kind and respectful from her creation and punish/remove smth bad on their living creation.

Omg guyssss I have a theory: what if the witches are actually the gods of the crk uni and they created the 5 beast to control their people(cookies) but those beast got corrupted and the witch had to seal them away and and transer them to the new ancients, but because of that they also got corrupted and started eating cookies, tragically white lily saw them, so maybe the final boss is the witch
Or another theory: like the black pearl one, learning what the beast has done to what the witches created they started to hate the cookies and began to eat them, then the soul jams tried to make things right. Thus, finding new owner which is the ancient heroes

My teory about that, it's because the ancient heroes story that we know was after the flame and iron caos, and the fallen heroes story was during that calamity when this 5 owners of the soul jams became evil by his own powers and brought devastasión, and before the end the soul jams were the only thing left from that calamity that wasn't consumed to the darknes and they were given to the ancient heroes that we actualy know
The fact this whole world the cookies live in could just be the witches messy counter they won’t clean

I pieced these theories from multiple different ones.
The theory is that these are witnesses.
The voice for the old prologue? Dark Enchantress Cookie. She saw them eating cookies, which is why they are depicted as monsters.
The voice for the new prologue? The old guardian cookie from beast-yeast. (I forgot his name.) Who saw the witch’s as hero’s because they trapped the beasts.
They are the same witch’s, just told from differing perspectives.

I’m pretty sure the original prologue was narrated by Patty McCormack (the English voice of Dark Enchantress Cookie) while the 3rd Anniversary prologue is narrated by some unknown male (presumably the voice actor of one of the upcoming Cookies, most likely Elder Faerie Cookie)

by what can be seen the soul jams had a different shape back in the iron and flame era but their wielders got corrupted by the power of the soul jams probably doing the opposite of what the soul jams represent it can be seen by the fact the previous wielder have their soul jams in a opposite position like holyberry soul jam being inverted heart and the current ancient were pretty much capable of resisting the power of the jam and there's white lily cookie who was like the rest of her friends but she saw the horrors that their creators did to poor cookies although is possible there were multiple witches interacting with earthbreadc, and my theory is that the white lily that was with the other ancients was probably a fragment of her conciousness that hid in the soul jam and tried to stop herself from causing pain and suffering in the end all of the soul jams got fragmented so it's possible that DE is going to ask for alliance in beast yest with the previous ancients

My theory is that, the reason the old prologue shows the witches being mean is probably because is being told by Dark Enchantress cookie so it’s from her perspective so she’s telling what she knows and the new one is told by someone else (we don’t know who that someone else is..) but it could be some one from Beast yeast so who knows
IDK...Maybe this is an alternative universe mirror verse situation or simply differing biased interpretations of a real event like how some of the different branches of larger religions don't get along.

I honestly prefer the Fallen Heroes over the current Ancients. They're designs seem more interesting! And with our expedition to Beast-Yeast beginning, there is so much potential to discover why the fell to the darkness once given their Soul Jam!

I think how the story goes is that the fallen heroes save the world then cause chaos, the good witch locks them up and sends their soul jams scattering across the world, the chaos is still happening and then the ancients get their soul jams in an attempt to stop the chaos and THEN the new prologue is written by dark enchantress
