I haven't commended before but as you take a bit time off. I took up watercolour painting a few months ago; as I'm now housebound due to health and I found many teaching sources on Utube. I landed on following your tutorials because you're the best at talking a beginner thru many types of art information. You're very down to earth, & relatable. I learned so much! So I wanted to thank you & wish you & yours the very best in the coming new year.
Very good explanation on the light values and the superposition of colours!
Maybe a monthly tip video? I love tips! Thank you for all you share with us.
I love the way you took control and expressed yourself and did it your way. It's your painting and your mood.🎨
In the landscape with the orange flowers. I would make them the colors that worked best.
My one art teacher told me.
"DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT."
you've got some really good tips here, and the way you've broken down a photograph into really simple steps, great video 😄
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I get so intimidated by photos but that’s what I want to paint! Your entire demeanor is just “sure, we can do this,” and then you show me how to do it. Happy New Year!
Have a great holiday! Enjoy your little one’s excitement!
How about you do you. Paint whatever makes your heart sing and we'll enjoy watching. 🌺
Someone just commissioned me to do a landscape for them and I think I'm gonna do a sketch and fill in kind of like what you did for your grandparents house but then hit the greenery and lilies with some loose style. Freaking out. I don't do landscapes often. I'm a floral type gal with some random folk art thrown in the mix. Been painting for a year now and this is my third commission so I am excited but also what have I done lol
Nice! Thanks for sharing all the Monday tips. ⚾️
I really loved this. Please do more landscapes and more photo-to-painting tutorials, Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Thank you.
Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for those Monday morning tips. I really enjoyed them & learned a lot. I love your way of teaching. Perfect for beginner. Can't wait to receive your book to continue my learning. Have a very Merry Christmas & New Year & see you in 2023.
Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas! 🎄
Lovely. Thanks for all your inspiration and encouragement. Good luck for your future.
Emma - Maybe do one a month; one a week is a commitment & on Mon. morning is a tough time! Thank You!!! Happy New Year!!!

Woooow
Great tutorial and tips! Thanks
Really great landscape, I love 💕 it. Definitely trying this and thank you for all advise & tips. Have a great Holiday.
Love your Tutorials
Not sure if this would make a good Monday tip video, but I would find more watercolor drills videos very helpful!
well done!
I’ve never seen a landscape painted in this way. There are differing ways to approach Painting them. I enjoyed your process but have learned and painted many landscapes differently. I only mention this because I don’t want your viewers to be confused if they’ve seen or painted landscapes with different techniques. There are other approaches.
I cannot see the link to the reference photos anywhere. Any suggestions please?
I'd love to see you a paint an Iris flower in water colours, I saw part of one done years ago but someone was talking to me & I had to turn it off, so I never got the whole gist of what they were doing. 💖
Emma, what is Gouache please and when should it b used in a painting...I have a white gouache which i have used in the past to treat my canvas and stones before acrylic painting but never used it in watercolour? no rush to answer me as I'm sure u r a very busy lady organizing your Festive season xxx
Gouache is opaque watercolor paint (non see-through) and white gouache is often used in watercolor painting to put white highlights on top of the picture. For example, putting a tiny white highlight in an eye, or white sparkles on the sea.
@@DianeAntoneStudio Thank u so much Diane XXX

Yes, you can.
Simple people in background
Pictures are far from being professional copies... Too much space was left for the sky. Anyway look nice, thank you for the tutorial
But so very helpful for us beginners!
