I honestly do not know how her family could *ever* forgive him for hiring assassins and almost killing her in his revenge plot to steal the throne. Wtf?! FL’s mom was AWESOME in this episode! Too bad later in the drama he manages to convince her family that he loves her and they recommend that she gives him one more chance. (How many chances is that? 6? 7? At some point she needs to be strong and leave him forever.)
Yeah, I would find a mountain to be a hermit or find a Tibetan monastery and become a monk. I'd be desperate enough to shave my head to get away from this love rat ba$tard.
Yuezhen is a bigger, better woman than me. Even after knowing she was a pawn in his schemes, he loved Siyu and married her, she was a moving target, and everything else she is graciously willing herself to death and giving hubby a way to be with his Beloved Siyu and blessing them. Damn! That is really hard-core love. At least her family and friends are rallying on her side and telling hubby off and keeping them apart. She doesn't need his sorry a$$ apologies and excuses. He did her so wrong and I don't really see him taking anything back. She's still stuck between a rock and a hard place, his bro is still a political fugitive, and Siyu is still acting like a pissed off wet cat looking for revenge. Yeah, it's a hot mess.
He did not love Shiyi...she too was just used. He never was going to let her have his kids, but he was happy to use her for pleasure. He had a miserable character. User
Arlena Dietz oh I see Situ's point and perspective, but honestly, to go after Zheng and her family is my bottom line. Siyu and hubby have the same obsessive issues. They don't know how to have a truly loving relationship. She proved it when she got pregnant with the guards baby. She couldn't show love or hold baby Jie. Jie was a means to the ends. I honestly had no sympathy for her. She was used, and she used people as well. Hubby and her should have stayed together and left Zheng with 9th Prince. He wasn't perfect, but he was a better fit and could protect her. He also wouldn't have had a harem, just her. That's more than hubby could promise.
I’m not sure I would say she is a better woman for “loving” him so much that she aided in his pathetic schemes. So many people died in his plan to usurp the throne. Love doesn’t mean you lose your ability to know eighth from wrong or be your own person. She really needs to learn to love and prioritize herself rather than continue to support him. She can love him but know better than to be with him.
So now he loves her and wants her back? Bwahhh! Sorry that seems ironically funny to me. He's causing his "beloved" wife to will herself to death. Man, these bad MLs are vieing for Hubby of the Year! Snort! What the Hell did he think was going to happen? So now he's figured out that he was a pawn too? Yeah, can't say I'm sorry. She was better off with Crown Prince or the Bandit King. At least they offered security and protection.
@@AlinaAlina-pm7zh I finished binge watching it yesterday. I'm still a bit mad that she didn't end up with the 9th Prince but it's a drama. Whatever happened to Princess Jie? The baby disappears at the end.
