WOW! Wonderfully narrated I got to pass Kingsway Ave where my dear friend of 50yrs lives. Also Phoenix Avenue our home for many years. Have not traveled on that road for 22yrs. Makes me very homesick
@InJamaica thank you so much for this vlog. My father use to work at UWI and we use to take dis trip all di time. I miss the Odeon movie theater which of course is gone. The one constant in the universe is change and Jamaica has gone through so much. I hope for the better. Only time will tell. Big up yourself @InJamaica ❤️🇯🇲
The intersection at Hope Rd, Old Hope Rd and Barbican is called Matilda's Corner. Alot has changed around these places since I've been there, interesting.
You've driven us on this road a couple of times & I learnt how to get to the Bob Marley museum from HWT through your videos but I've learnt much more today.
You have done an awesome job in presenting and showing, describing the journeys you take the viewers through. It brings back fund memories to me. Thank you. I may never return back home but I can keep up through your commentaries. Top class 👏
Yes mi bredda. Ah mi man. Same one outta Nigeria. Yu don know half way tree is our place as dancehall inspired youths. Please next time you are in Half way tree, can you show Skateland? I used to hear DJ say. " Cah Skateland deh up ah half way tree. You AVE RJR and JBC. Pon RJR dat ah Neville Willoughby. Pon JBC you AVE de man Barry Gee"
Ah mi bredda... it is good to see that you are in tune to what is happening over here. I wouldn't have remember Skateland if you didn't mention it. I will try to see what is left of that place in a future video. Blessing & One Love to you my Nigerian brother
@@InJamaica Give thanks always. Your channel is a part of my life because it shows me the places I heard about 30 odd years ago.. Dancehall educated me about JA

@Oshane Davis That's were I was coming from and I understand you... but some people find it difficult to see the place when closed caption are displayed hence they wish for audio so they can turn off closed caption to get a better view.. and that's just only one reason why audio was introduced. I appreciate your honesty though. Thank you

Honestly it was better if you just had closed captions on this whole talking is taking away from the natural video of the cars an the road sounds

Do you mean Papine? Papine is quite a distance from Crossroads. Old Hope Rd will take you to Crossroads.
