I'm a Barcelona supporter🔴🔵This was beautiful to watch. Before we got eliminated from UCL, I was hoping that Barcelona & Ajax would meet in the final and show the world the most beautiful display of football in a final.🔥Also would have been an amazing tribute to a legend of both our clubs, Johan Cruyff.🙏🏽But after we got eliminated by Liverpool, I was hoping for Ajax to go all the way to the final, and win it. It was amazing to watch Ajax play their football, which reminded me so much of Barcelona's football during the Guardiola era. That's all thanks to that similar DNA that Johan Cruyff helped inject into both clubs.🙏🏽Barcelona fans love this team guys. Long live Ajax❌❌❌
Nothing to do with Cruyff. They just had a good coach and assisting coach , young talent and good signings. It just came together on the right time. Blind after Man United. De Jong and De Ligt maturing at the right time. Zyech that came on the right time. Tadic that failed in England and became available. All different circumstances that made that team. Saying its Cruyffs dna is just romanticising the whole lot.
HB Pope Helaas denken vrienden van mij (die Feyenoorder is), daar anders over, wat ik erg kinderachtig vind. Ajax heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de Eredivisie een rechtstreekse kwalificatieplaats voor de UCL heeft gewonnen. Als Ajacied zou ik ook erg trots zijn als Feyenoord of PSV het zo ver schopt als Ajax dit seizoen.

Ik ook man. Ik kon die Lucas Moura nooit hebben vanwege zijn houding en nu haat ik hem nog meer. Ik hoop dat Ajax volgend seizoen Tottenham weer tegenkomt in een tweeluik en dat wij dit keer ze overrompelen.

Na zo’n mooi toernooi, zo’n unieke kans verpest in 1 helft. Verschrikkelijk, echt doodziek van. Maar we kunnen ook enorm trots zijn dat ons cluppie dit gepresteerd heeft, en vergeet niet dat de toekomst er rooskleurig uitziet, zeker als overmars al het cl-geld goed investeert. 2 jaar geleden dachten we nog dat het een incident was om ver te komen in Europa, maar nu zijn we echt terug! nou he, bij die 2de goal van ziyech dacht ik echt bam, dit team is gewoon te goed. we gaan naar de finale. de anti climax in de 2de helft, echt ben er nog steeds ziek van.
Gewoon botte pech dat die bal 3x goed valt voor Lucas en dat de bal 3x net niet goed in de goal valt voor Ziyech. Dat is voetbal. Ajax had veel meer kunnen en moeten doen met de ruimte in de 2de helft. Dat Tottenham ging drukken wist je
I’m an American and my roommate in college was from Netherlands and he really got me into soccer, sorry I said I’m an American and I’ll always call it soccer. Obviously his passion for the Dutch team watching van Persie, Robben, Sneijer, etc. really got me into rooting for them in matches where they didn’t play the US. When Ajax made this magical run I think I was more excited than he was to see a team from a smaller league dominate like they did. Good luck going forward Ajax!
You Thnx bro. But a club like Ajax who plays in a small country like the Netherlands got too deal with 2 problems money troubles. Clubs from the premier league have the best TV deals in the world. 4-5 billion euro or ponds.for 4 years of the life matches and like the bbc got the high lights of the game. Till ESPN for only the goals of all the matches in the premier league. The Dutch eredivisie. The Dutch highest league get to divide a couple of 100miljons. Over the 18 clubs of the league and they have to give some money in to a solidarity pot for clubs who got relocated to the first division. And down to the 2 league and even trough out the amateurs with have a big impact on the youths and girls league s from the f till The A selections. And made sure that they are able to get a good competition for every part of the football piramide. From the 5th team who played for just the fun and a great third halve in the bars of the club houses all over the country. The bar is a big part of the incoming of money. Even the championschip the English first division get a shit loat of money even more than the league 1 de French top league. The Germans, and Italians, Spanish and even the Turkish league gets loads of money competing to the Dutch clubs. That is what difference is. Ik heb deze docu nu al 5x gezien, eens in de zoveel tijd kijk ik hem weer. Bij zowat elke wedstrijd kippenvel. Wat was dit een legendarisch en prachtig seizoen. Dit team had alles en had het verdient. Dank naar de hele club voor deze mooie herinnering. Voor altijd gekkehuis op de tribune ❤️❌❌❌

Om de zoveel tijd kijk ik dit even terug. Wat een fantastisch jaar hebben we toen gehad, met een geweldig team en het was iedere wedstrijd weer smullen. Tadic, de Ligt, Frenkie, Donny, Ziyech, Nico etc etc... Wat een selectie hadden we toen. Als je ziet hoe we de laatste jaren aan het zwalken zijn... wat zijn we diep gezonken en wat moet er veel gebeuren. Maar deze herinnering blijft en hij is fantastisch! Behalve die krankzinnige laatste minuten tegen Tottenham, die blijven pijn doen 🙁

Deze voel ik als feyenoorder zelfs. Ongelofelijk, dit kan je niet verzinnen. Het is een Nederlandse club in de halve finale champions league. Zuur echt zuur maar daar tegenover diep respect. Ze speelden echt mooi voetbal.
v d gijp, waan van de dag, beetje commentaar geven, soms wel leuk hoor, maar hij met Derksen zitten er ook nog wel eens naast, kijk nooit meer dat programma, tis een dingetje geworden, dat programma, gemaakt als de hel. Maar die 2e helft van ajax, die 2 goals achterelkaar, ballen tegen paal, lat, reddingen over en weer, waardeloze extra tijd, met balverlies Tadic bij de cornervlag, Onana die de allerlaatste bal niet het stradion uittrapt, maar in het spel brengt, en in 3 x raken in de goal vliegt, zo zeur en zonde, na voorrondes CL, Bayern, Real, Juve, compleet en overtuigend te hebben bedongen en dan zo eruit vliegen, maar das sport helaas, kan er nog om treuren. Maar mooi gemaakyte doc met de muziek en commetaren NL en Engels, complimenten voor de maker
Ik ben feyenoord fan maar wat heb ik toen zo genoten van dit ajax,zo onterecht niet de finale gehaald,en wat jammer dat akax nu het heel moeilijk heeft hoop dan ook van harte dat ze weer aan de Nederlandse en Europese top gaan behoren,maar het feyenoord van 2023 laat mij zo aan het ajx van 2019 denken hoop ook dat feyenoord het Nederlandse publiek trots kan maken in de championsleque,maar ajax kop op en op weg omhoog 😊
Je weet hoe het gaat voor clubs met Nederlands budget kom je ver in de championleague kopen de rijken der aarde deze voetballers en trainers weg. Leuk hoor dat je veel winst pakt maar wat je kwijtraakt doet pijn...... En kost weer jaren om op te bouwen.
Hier nog eentje! Erg genoten van de CL run van Ajax en was er oprecht even verdrietig om hoe het eindigde. Ik keek de wedstrijd bij een Ajax vriend thuis en die was er helemaal kapot van. Moet kunnen. Tof als je van elkaars clubs kunt genieten en het sportief kunt houden. In de competitie zijn we rivalen, in Europa moeten we elkaar steunen :)

He bullied everyone and won nearly every duel, enabling essentially route one football: long balls to Llorente, have him win and hold the ball or pass it to an incoming teammate, attack from there. Aside from de Ligt, no one was capable of winning against him. And if we were to deal with him, it opens space to the other attackers, as is seen at the goals. We were also too naive, de Ligt getting nutmegged near their corner flag moments before the 2-1 was such an unnecessary risk. That’s also how we got beat in the EL final vs Mourinho’s Man U. Long balls to Fellaini and go from there.
wat een prachtige our story, ik heb zo genoten van Ajax en dit laat me het weer helemaal herleven. ik vind het jammer dat we eruit liggen maar vind het echt mooi hoe ons Nederlandse clubje bijna in de finale van de UCL was❌❌❌
This Ajax was showing such magnificent skill, capabillity, growth, determination and will. Under Ter Hag this Ajax went back more then at anny time to the total football concept pioneerd in Amsterdam by Johan Cruijf, and this entire journey is a classic example of a determined team with a good trainer making dreams come true. Having that said, not every journey worth remembering needs to be crowned with a trophy. And its true, becouse people will remember this Ajax for a very long time for bringing a brilliant form of play that many clubs for years will not be able to match. Pure, magnificent football, built in Amsterdam.
That was amazing to watch, every minute of it. I did not had access to the games of the group stage here in 🇧🇷, but I've watched starting from the round of 16. The first game against Real Madrid, I saw the starting 11 and thought this team could show guts and make the game harder. I saw a dedication for the game not seen by me in a long time. The team ran like crazy, created chances, and the loss was unfair. It was a matter of the ball going in, no lack of effort. On the game in Madrid, well: that's history. Against Juventus the first game had a fair outcome. So did the second. The second half of Ajax was huge, they ruled the game after Van Der Beek's goal, but the second half especially so. About the semifinal, I'd rather not talk. But it was a beautiful campaign, and I think it can happen again this season. This team kept some pieces and got better in some areas. If the playing in home improves, the next step can be taken
Nothing but pure respect for Ajax! I was lucky enough to see them playing against my club Schalke in 2017, loved the way of football Amsterdam was playing and ever since I watched many of their games; the CL season 2018/19 was something special and Ajax would have deserved to enter the final against Liverpool. All the best for the current season, after the wins against Dortmund it looks good so far. ;) GO Ajax!
Dit terug kijkend ben ik nog steeds zo trots op onze club! En dat einde zal altijd een verdrietig moment blijven. Moest weer bijna een traan laten op het laatst. Zoiets blijft nog lang pijn doen, maar nog veel langer als trots in het hart zitten.
2021 en nog steeds kippenvel van dit ajax en de hele reis door dit seizoen. dat mensen in nederland nog steeds niet snappen dat dit de beste club van nederland is, is ongelooflijk ! dit is ajax ! ✖️✖️✖️

Gewoon alles wat ik dit jaar meegemaakt, van wereldwedstrijden tot het hele team gevoel, de fans, de entradas, hoe de hele wereld verliefd is geworden op Ajax. Ik ben zo trots maar ik kan tegerlijkertijd wel janken na 1:00:57 . Tranen staan daar echt in mn ogen. Zo ongelofelijk dichtbij maar o zo ver weg. Tot volgend seizoen Ajax ❤
I'm a Spurs fan and, whilst I was obviously so happy to win the semi-final, I felt for the Ajax fans and players. You guys played some amazing football and the support was incredible. Definitely would like to travel and watch a game, amongst the Ajax fans, someday. Right up there with the Dortmund fans for sheer passion and support. Would have loved it to be Ajax v Spurs in the final.

Voor mij, een Belg die eigenlijk niets te maken heeft met de club, doet het toch pijn om te zien hoe Ajax eruit is gegaan. Ik vond het al zo spijtig hoe het in 2017 net fout is gegaan, maar dit is nog net een niveautje hoger. Nooit heb ik meer van een ploeg in de champions league genoten. Toen ik de wedstrijd tegen Standard bekeek vond ik het al geweldig, toen ze kwalificeerden voor de groepsfase vond ik het helemaal mooi. Tegen Real Madrid gaf ik Ajax geen kans. Tegen Juventus dacht ik dat het wel even 3-0, 4-0 verliezen zou worden, maar iedere keer verbaasden ze mij. Respect...

ik ben persoonlijk geen Ajax fan maar godsamme wat was dit mooi. Net als de wedstrijd Nederland Spanja in 2014, zal ik hier altijd terug blijven komen. Het was ze gegund. Heel jammer maar super mooi.
Vandaag was het 23 jaar geleden dat Ajax voor het laatst in de finale stond. Inmiddels woon ik al bijna 15 jaar in Ierland en zie ik niet zoveel meer van het Nederlandse voetbal, maar wat heb ik dit seizoen genoten van Ajax. Na de stunt tegen Madrid heb ik voor de resterende wedstrijden steeds een tafel gereserveerd om te zorgen dat ik een goede plek had om te kijken met een hapje en een drankje erbij. En nu met deze fraaie docu nog eens genieten van dit mooie seizoen. Uiteraard deed de goal van Spurs pijn, maar die pijn is draaglijk als je ziet wat een enorme prestatie dit team heeft geleverd, en volgend seizoen doen we het gewoon nog eens opnieuw.
Niet droevig, maar o-zo trots op die jongens uit Amsterdam, gewonnen van zoveel giganten! Ja, op een knullige manier niet de finale gehaald, maar wat een spel! Wat een wereldklasse! Tottenham heeft geluk gehad, en AJAX had pech, domme pech... en nu verder naar het volgende avontuur! GA ZO DOOR!!!!!
Dit is wel precies ons probleem als Nederlanders, exact door jou verwoord. Tevreden met de halve finale. Dit had NOOIT mogen gebeuren........ Niks GA ZO DOOR. Maar: leer hiervan en laat dit nooit meer gebeuren. Dor onderschatting pakten we nauwelijks prijzen. Denk aan WK 1974, WK 1978, EK 2000, EK 2008....
Dat Ten Hag met zo weinig vertrouwen van het toch wel onzekere Ajax zo’n top ploeg heeft gemaakt is echt geweldig! Ik denk dat momenteel Ten Hag zeker tot de top 3 coaches hoort!

All the players of Ajax they where absolutely a joy to watch that season. A special plus for Dusan Tadic, one of the best in Europe for the past 4 years. Erik ten Haag built 2 Ajax teams in such a short time, wich is absolutely incredible, so... Congratulations Erik, well done!

Ajax heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de Eredivisie een rechtstreekse kwalificatieplaats voor de UCL heeft gewonnen. Als Ajacied zou ik ook erg trots zijn als Feyenoord of PSV het zo ver schopt als Ajax dit seizoen.

I’m an American and my roommate in college was from Netherlands and he really got me into soccer, sorry I said I’m an American and I’ll always call it soccer. Obviously his passion for the Dutch team watching van Persie, Robben, Sneijer, etc. really got me into rooting for them in matches where they didn’t play the US. When Ajax made this magical run I think I was more excited than he was to see a team from a smaller league dominate like they did. Good luck going forward Ajax!

Om de zoveel tijd kijk ik dit even terug. Wat een fantastisch jaar hebben we toen gehad, met een geweldig team en het was iedere wedstrijd weer smullen. Tadic, de Ligt, Frenkie, Donny, Ziyech, Nico etc etc... Wat een selectie hadden we toen. Als je ziet hoe we de laatste jaren aan het zwalken zijn... wat zijn we diep gezonken en wat moet er veel gebeuren. Maar deze herinnering blijft en hij is fantastisch! Behalve die krankzinnige laatste minuten tegen Tottenham, die blijven pijn doen 🙁

This Ajax was showing such magnificent skill, capabillity, growth, determination and will. Under Ter Hag this Ajax went back more then at anny time to the total football concept pioneerd in Amsterdam by Johan Cruijf, and this entire journey is a classic example of a determined team with a good trainer making dreams come true.
Having that said, not every journey worth remembering needs to be crowned with a trophy. And its true, becouse people will remember this Ajax for a very long time for bringing a brilliant form of play that many clubs for years will not be able to match.

That was amazing to watch, every minute of it. I did not had access to the games of the group stage here in 🇧🇷, but I've watched starting from the round of 16.
The first game against Real Madrid, I saw the starting 11 and thought this team could show guts and make the game harder. I saw a dedication for the game not seen by me in a long time. The team ran like crazy, created chances, and the loss was unfair. It was a matter of the ball going in, no lack of effort.
On the game in Madrid, well: that's history.
Against Juventus the first game had a fair outcome. So did the second. The second half of Ajax was huge, they ruled the game after Van Der Beek's goal, but the second half especially so.
About the semifinal, I'd rather not talk.
But it was a beautiful campaign, and I think it can happen again this season. This team kept some pieces and got better in some areas. If the playing in home improves, the next step can be taken

ever since I watched many of their games; the CL season 2018/19 was something
special and Ajax would have deserved to enter the final against Liverpool.

I'm a Spurs fan and, whilst I was obviously so happy to win the semi-final, I felt for the Ajax fans and players. You guys played some amazing football and the support was incredible. Definitely would like to travel and watch a game, amongst the Ajax fans, someday. Right up there with the Dortmund fans for sheer passion and support. Would have loved it to be Ajax v Spurs in the final.

Toen ik de wedstrijd tegen Standard bekeek vond ik het al geweldig, toen ze kwalificeerden voor de groepsfase vond ik het helemaal mooi. Tegen Real Madrid gaf ik Ajax geen kans. Tegen Juventus dacht ik dat het wel even 3-0, 4-0 verliezen zou worden, maar iedere keer verbaasden ze mij. Respect...

het is mooi om te zien dat supporters van andere clubs als psv ajax aanmoedigen en van het voetbal genieten, dat is waarom voetbal bestaat.

ik ben persoonlijk geen Ajax fan maar godsamme wat was dit mooi. Net als de wedstrijd Nederland Spanja in 2014, zal ik hier altijd terug blijven komen. Het was ze gegund. Heel jammer maar super mooi.
Vandaag was het 23 jaar geleden dat Ajax voor het laatst in de finale stond. Inmiddels woon ik al bijna 15 jaar in Ierland en zie ik niet zoveel meer van het Nederlandse voetbal, maar wat heb ik dit seizoen genoten van Ajax. Na de stunt tegen Madrid heb ik voor de resterende wedstrijden steeds een tafel gereserveerd om te zorgen dat ik een goede plek had om te kijken met een hapje en een drankje erbij. En nu met deze fraaie docu nog eens genieten van dit mooie seizoen. Uiteraard deed de goal van Spurs pijn, maar die pijn is draaglijk als je ziet wat een enorme prestatie dit team heeft geleverd, en volgend seizoen doen we het gewoon nog eens opnieuw.

Dit is wel precies ons probleem als Nederlanders, exact door jou verwoord. Tevreden met de halve finale. Dit had NOOIT mogen gebeuren........ Niks GA ZO DOOR. Maar: leer hiervan en laat dit nooit meer gebeuren. Dor onderschatting pakten we nauwelijks prijzen. Denk aan WK 1974, WK 1978, EK 2000, EK 2008....
Dat Ten Hag met zo weinig vertrouwen van het toch wel onzekere Ajax zo’n top ploeg heeft gemaakt is echt geweldig! Ik denk dat momenteel Ten Hag zeker tot de top 3 coaches hoort!

Ik heb de laatste wedstrijd nooit meer gezien maar wel doorgespoeld tot na de wedstrijd en als je dan kijkt naar de supporters, die zijn meer dan geweldig ze staan altijd achter Ajax ook met zo'n k*t nederlaag is het publiek nog steeds keihard aan het juichen, echt geweldig❌❌❌❤️❤️❤️
Prachtige compilatie, heb er echt van genoten en ben gewoon nog steeds dankbaar dat ik dit heb mogen meemaken. De wond van de gemiste finale zal wellicht nooit helen.. maar hopelijk staan we daar over een paar jaar en dan nemen we die cup mee naar Amsterdam!
