The way I see it, Unohana mentioned how kid Zaraki first discovered the joy of fighting on “the edge” when he met her. I feel like him turning half skeletal was a metaphor of himself truly rediscovering and experiencing that joy once again; the essence of Battle. In the manga and the anime, Unohana’s Bankai has always been ambiguous, which is what I like about it. It could be similar to Kirinji’s blood pond hell and maybe it has such a strong healing factor that it can potentially melt you, or it could maybe use the collective blood of all the enemies she has slain in the past. But the general idea is it’s basically a domain expansion that has an extreme healing and killing factor at the same time, so she can essentially fight forever. I also find it funny how people still can’t comprehend that this entire time Zaraki has been a Captain while fighting with a base Zanpakuto. He literally can’t even hear his sword or know it’s name lol how do you expect him to have a Shikai.
Well, just like Ichigo had "Zangetsu" on "Shikai" all the time, they came up with the idea of "Well, sometimes there's a Zanpakuto that's so strong that it releases on their own and stay that way forever" to try and justify it. Even Byakuya by the end is like "I think that 'constant-release' deal is a load of hogwash". But yeah, Kenpachi so far has been fighting with the equivalent of Ichigo's sword he used in the first arc, which I always saw as an enlarged Asauchi because Ichigo can't control his reiatsu output very well, so it stays large
@@c3p6 It does have a name, Zaraki just never was willing to hear it. “It reminds me of hell” Thinking about how Hell now has the Fire of the Caption Commander to ressurect the dead and the blood power of Unohana I really wonder if those 2 powers will bring the dead from hell back full body in THE HELL ARC to come!
Honestly, I can interpret Renji being on the list of people Kenpachi can fight as equals because it's not just guys with immediate strength, but also ones who can evolve and get stronger. Say all you want about Renji, but he did learn Bankai as a non-noble and non-genius and as soon as he learned its full name became pretty competent and clearly on Captain level. I think Unohana more meant "rivals" and not strictly "opponents". At least that's how I saw this scene.
People always misunderstand the meaning behind Unohana not noticing the bodies. She noticed them, but initially assumed it was just a corpse pile as the Zaraki District was prone to war. When her officer related how the body pile signified dissatisfaction, she begins to wonder how long it could have been there (and how long someone else was dissatisfied) Then young Zaraki pops out.
I get what you are trying to say. But it still doesn't make any sense because the episode shows that she JUST noticed that pile of corpses. What they could have done is have her notice it (because its freaking obvious) but assume her subordinates piled them up. Then have the subordinate go "We thought you did it....." Or something like that. Actually I have a bigger question regarding this scenario. How the hell did no sense Zaraki before he sneaked up on Unohana??? No way in hell would people NOT notice his massive spiritual pressure and immediately find him. The kid here is so strong that he surpasses freaking Unohana while he knows NOTHING about his power. No seriously he should be a walking beacon of power for all of them to sense but he was somehow able to move about freely and gather up all those corpses into a GIANT pile that somehow she just completely missed (so she not only missed the pile but also him gathering up the corpses onto the pile right beside her??? Bullshit 🤣) Yeah no this little scene is a god damn mess lmao
@Sammy Dray you perfectly summed up every gripe i had about that scene. If Zaraki was as strong as Unohana was saying then it makes even less sense when he doesn't even know how to control himself. It's like he might as well have been walking around with the biggest spotlight on him that could be seen for miles. Ain't no way she wouldn't have been able to sense him let alone be surprised. Ichigo right before he fought Aizen after his dangai training sensed Karin and Yuzu from probably a mile out minimum. You're telling me that Unohana, somebody with as much battle experience and as adept as she is, couldn't sense Zaraki when he wasn't even 100 yards away? Nah kubo majorly screwed up with that scene. Another thing that seems weird is that you see Unohana walking forward and then she stops and completely turns her body around and stares at the pile. Which means she was coming from the direction of the literal mountain of corpses and somehow didn't run into it. You could probably see it from a really good distance away. So apparently she went blind and spiritually inept for several minutes since she missed a mountain of bodies and somebody that was stronger than her
@@toshido_yamada My guy its a MASSIVE pile of corpses few feet away from her. The power of her bankai is not really explained but as for me it can do these main things. Her bankai is a bit similar to Yamamoto’s bankai. Yamamoto’s bankai means All things burn in Kanji while Unohana’s bankai means all things end. One of the abilities of Yamamoto’s bankai is to summon the corpses of all that died in his blade. Which is a bit similar with Unohana’s bankai. The blood came from all the soul that died in her blade. She can also manipulate the blood as an extension of her sword as it can extend like a whip and even used as a shield. Another power of her bankai is extreme acid which melts everything away thus the meaning of her bankai. But the reason why Kenpachi neither her dies is because she has also mastered and incorporated her healing technique into her bankai. I mean killing and healing Zaraki 1000 times isn’t a joke. You can also notice how she mastered the power of healing as she was able to maintain her youthful look despite being an OG legend. Just how it is. If they didn't fight to the death then they wouldn't be Kenpachi. It's who they are, it's their character to go against that would be out of character.
I will always feel like Unohana's death was a very poor plot device to remove the n1 healer on the soul reapers side, there's no way that she couldn't have just temporarily faked her death with her skills and given their whole side a much better chance against the Quincies. Yes I get the whole "dying while fulfilling ones own purpose" part but was it really necessary? Idk I just feel like it was a waste to kill her off after a brief clash with Zaraki just so he could get to "full power"
Yes to pass the kenpachi title you have to die to pass the title to the worthy since she found one she nurtured him and died for him and since it was foreshadowed since the beginning of her it's a genius writing 😑 it would be a bad plot if she came out of nowhere to be kenpachi without any foreshadowing just like baryon mode naruto.

Why do I hear Youpi from hunter x hunter speaking lies about himself 😂
I haven’t watched KOL videos is over 5 years, is all his videos like this. Heavily edited with so many clips I’m between?
His anime reactions are, it's honestly so fucking funny. When he starts swinging his sword the editor adds a bunch of special effects, fucking kills me every time 😂
@@MetalSolidCrisis I wasn’t use it, that’s all. I use to watch his baki, bleach manga videos and Toriko videos. And they wasn’t so heavily edited. It’s funny just wasn’t expecting it 😂
@@mercedesanderson5204 hell yeah lmao, guaranteed laugh every vid, editor's doing the lords work 😂😂💯
all the scrawny pale captians*
kenpachi is strong but far too slow to catch us."
7:20 fast as fuck boi
Everyone disrespecting renji til they hear..........
So-oh Zabimaru
Abso-fuckin-lutely!
She reminds me of lady maria from bloodborne
Just how it is. If they didn't fight to the death then they wouldn't be Kenpachi. It's who they are, it's their character to go against that would be out of character.
That means that Zaraki has been a fraud all the way up to this point.
after this episode i made unohana in elden ring
How was there a 2nd Kempachi if Unohana was never killed?
Unofficial titles
All frauds
@@mufeezsyed2664 Still will always feel like it was a massive waste of a character to just kill her off, I would've understood if she died during the war itself but during the preparation period will never feel right. I get why it was done but I can't say that I felt like it made complete sense either
@@izanagi1541 yes massive waste of character thats fine but the writing itself was not a plot armour i only consider a plot armour when there's no backstory or foreshadowing involve in it in this case it does.
@@mufeezsyed2664 it was bad. Cope.
She was probably the most badass female character in Bleach, but sadly, her ending was too disappointing. I really want to see her fight any Sternritter and show that Bankai full power.
Where's the OP 1046 reaxion???
What shiw was that, from 15:38 to 15:44?
So much blood......
RENJI 😂
We need more dragon quest it was so good....
I think he finished with dragon quest or stopped around 98, so we would need 2 more left, but I could be wrong. I know he was reacting to it in another channel.
There cam be only one
Cap this was the best fight of the season and also the thousand blood war
Stop 😂😂😂😂
Nigga saw this fight ONLY.
It's not even close to the best fight in TYBW and its not the best of the season either. It's the second best reveal in the season, in my opinion. MAYBE third best fight in the season..
@@BucsFanO22 curious what is your fav fight of the season and also tybw.
@@big3fanboy19 My favorite fight of the season was Yamamoto vs "Yhwach".
In all of TYBW, it's hard to say. I think my favorite would be Mayuri vs Pernida. I think that's my favorite fight in the whole series. It's hard to say though. There's so many good ones.
Nah the one kenpachi rule is for real niggas man
Renji was in squad 11 once. Lol
i still thinks its stupid to have put Unohanna on the side lines in so many fights considering, according to my understanding of the source material, she was on par or stronger than Yamamoto.
Well, this reveal is the exact reason for that...
