I'm starting to think what they've done is blend the cartoon and plush designs as the head shape here definitely evokes more of the cartoon head shape. I scaled down the heads of the ingame plush and cartoon versions in Photoshop and lined them up with the official plush and the official plush does seem to much more closely align with the cartoon than the ingame plush. It kinda looks like they tried to eyeball the scale for Bubba's ears as well by looking at where the ears are on the ingame plush, but with the head scaled as it is they wind up being bigger.
I think the only changes I would make to the official plush would be the smaller ears, wider smile and to paint the charm in metallic colours instead of leaving them flat/matt coloured. It would be perfect then.
It's still a very fine plush and I can't wait to be able to add him to my collection. I'm not getting them in order though as I'm not sure if I want to get Bobby or Crafty as my next one (the unfortunate reality of being able to only afford one at a time 😭)

@@TurberCatGaming1737 Yes it did, they changed the head mold. As ItsLightning said, they still used the original body mold and plastic charm instead of a rubber one like they have for DogDay onwards, so it's not as big a change as the more recent Critters, but they definitely did make a change.
