I'm kinda sad for some people thats calling shotaro a successful"fanboy" because of his tiktok and his dance covers. This otter is literally a professional dancer, became a back up dancer for a few artists in japan (there's even pictures of it) and is from a famous school in japan (EXPG if i remember) and enrolled a dance academy since 5. He's already a trainee too before becoming an Sm trainee for 3-4 months before debuting as an Nct member. He's not that ordinary tiktok boy. Just because he has tiktok and do dance covers doesn't mean sm took him because of that. The reason I think the rumours about him debuting because of his tiktok is wrong because of how many dance covers there are in UA-cam it self, some of the dancers are highly attractive and looks like an idol but we don't see them debuting as an idol unless some of them are trainees or becoming a trainee.
Ohh finally ! There are info saying that One of his teachers suggested his name to SM , and i swear lee soo man isnt an idiot , he debuted Shotaro and not any other boys or dancer because its clear that he wanted someone who can help them to get a stable fanbase in Japan, choosing a boy related to one of the biggest agencies there (as the dance school EXPG is under LDH) , a boy well known by the idols under that agency, Shotaro was a back dancer to their two biggest groups " Exile tribe and JSoul Brothersto " someone reputed by his great dance skills ( he was one if the top students in EXPG) i feel like Sm want to gain some LDH stans support (Shotaro trended in Japan ) ... i swear LDH groups fill big stadiums easily !!!

Idk who the hell said he got in by his tiktok video, that's not how the world works. Lee Soo Man isn't an idiots, it's true. He's in one of the top agencies so he's must be picky with the trainees that he want to debut. If he choose someone because of tiktok (which of course never will happen unless the person in the tiktok is already a trainee or is professional dancer. I even doubt lee Soo man knows shotaro tiktok) lee Soo man might loose respect by knetz.
@@asleep0803 Shotaro used tiktok, Ig, Jplatform , he even had a weibo live , to show his dance skills, the choreographies he is learning, and covers, and i swear he never tried to cover any kpop or NCT song before (so the tiktok fanboy turning into a member doesn't stand for me ) he covered western hip-hop songs and Japanese songs, and suddenly he covered candy by baekhyun and nct kick it , i guess he was already contacted by SM when he did these two covers before he removed all his accounts , but still not confirmed !! All his old videos were about trying new choreographies, sharing his classes dance courses, hip-hop covers with his colleagues , free style dancing , street dancing style, ... whatever for me as Nctzen I'm happy that he joined NCT , i really appreciate his refreshing aura and unique vibe , the boy seems to be happy with the members , and many NCT members were very cheerful...
@@lumina621 yeah, I'm still a new nctzen but I'm glad shotaro enter nct. His vocal is also amazing so i hope sm can give him more lines. I think he does the cover after his online audition to become an sm trainee. He did became an Sm trainee for 3-4 months before debuting. I've seen a few more videos of his predebut videos and i really enjoy his dancing skills other than his covers. Shotaro is a cute otter so i hope alot of knetz nctzen show love to him
