I have seen at least somewhat like that boarder gore in North Africa and the Middle East, slightly weird peace deals with the Ottomans and Egypt are far from uncommon in my experience, although it is more often Ottomans not enforcing claims on Transjordan or Lebanon, or Egypt giving them up and little else in a deal making those states only connect by ports, although it's almost always one of those two states.. I have also seen Britain bisect Persia like that, which is something I oddly enough could see a human played doing but only if it was to weaken them for when they 'come back for the rest. Even Tripoltania, once Ottomans fail the Tanzimat and they become fully unchained it is very likely some colonial power will take a slice and they seem to prefer targeting the capital. Tunis however, I have no idea how in any realm of chaos Tunis move to half of Mascara? I genuinely have no idea how that happened unless they some got it from France from a peace deal or something and Britain then conquered the homeland? That is the only way I can even remotely see how this happened. If Tunis did get it I imagine it must have been from a Maghrebi uprising or something. Maybe?
