    Great commentators, glad to have them. But I do get annoyed when The one commentator makes guess/predictions on how the player shoots & many times wrong guess. Thank God for the mute button, then I just watch the rest of the game. Fantastic competitors through even though they miss, pronounced, yaps, first name!

    It's why you never give up. After the first set Gorst looked close to unbeatable. Yapp hangs in and Gorst does what he does many times (as great as he is) - he misses key shots.

      He's a machine always does the fundamentals every shot I don't think I've ever seen him jump up or not follow through on any shot even with ball in hand he does the same thing never changes anything he's definitely I good model to use with newer players because he shows how to have the best fundamentals in billard right now

    He did not call that second game, but Yapp being the great sportsman that he is, knew it was the obvious shot so chose not to call him on that. Yapp,one of my favorite players to watch, so smart!

    Rack 2 splat goes the racked balls. You don't see that with a template rack. Predator I'm not buying your rack. Why torture pros with it? Make a template. I'll buy it. Sheesh!

    do not like winner break format. its like a tennis player wins his serve so he gets to serve again. not good.

    Fedor pointed to the pocket before he shot the 10 ball off the 2. Commentators are not paying attention!

    I just turned my mute off After a couple of sets! Now I see consecutive calls by the commentator that yap is going to play safe, three times he didn’t play safe, and he made the ball! How embarrassing to make bad calls like this, as a professional commentator, the other commentator happens to be excellent and not prejudging shots, which I respect. I just happen to mention this as a fan & consumer.

    I wonder if these guys have ever thought of testing themselves by playing a game of snooker? It's strange to think that a snooker player could win against these pool players playing pool, but these pool players could never ever win against the snooker player playing snooker.

      Why do snooker players joined pool (billiards) tournament ? And why pool players do not in snookers ? . Only snooker players knows . 😅

    I am not knocking pool I am simply stating a fact, the top snooker players can play pool but the top pool players can not play snooker.

      But what does your point have to do with this match? Nothing. There are numerous pool players that are good snooker players. Most good pool players are not interested in snooker.
      If they were they would be playing pool. I absolutely love eight ball, nine ball, and 10 but just hate watching or playing snooker. I appreciate the skill snooker players have, but it is a different game.
      And if snooker players were sooooo great they would dominate "such an easy game" as nine and 10 ball. But they do not. What I find is there are a lot of snooker SNOBS.

      @@jamesdavis8731 Let's face it, pool is a game to be played when you're having a few drinks, because you don't need to keep a score.

    • @stevebee007
      @stevebee007 9 місяців тому +1

      Pool is accessible, everyone can play it, but to be elite at it has a different skillset than just potting balls, the pattern play, that snooker players just don't have to the same level as pool pros. There's absolutely no point in comparing both completely different games.

    • @Shytot-1
      @Shytot-1 9 місяців тому

      @@stevebee007 You're right there is no point comparing them because Americans do not play snooker. There is a lot of luck needed in pool.
      They smash the balls when they begin and hope for the best, and the outcome of one game can determine the next game, a player can lose without ever making a shot. I think if they made the pockets smaller to make the game more difficult Americans would soon lose interest and vote with their feet.

    • @jamesdavis8731
      @jamesdavis8731 9 місяців тому +3

      @@stevebee007 yep, but SNOOKER SNOBS just love comparing the game. Again, if snooker players were so great and the best in the world they would not have an issue winning major pool tournaments. Rarely does that happen - and I mean RARELY.
      There is so much more that goes into being a really good eight ball, nine ball, and 10 ball player - but the SNOOKER SNOBS don't see it that way.
