- A pretty obscure game but I love the varied monsters in the game, really sold it for me. So I did a compilation for all the main monsters in the game. Enjoy!

this game is spooky, though.
not by the monsters or some gore stuff, but it scares by it pressure on the player

My favorite is those Casket ones, even though they seem like the most innocuous. Something scary about being surrounded by monsters who can be avoided in a certain way, but one mistake means death. Puts more pressure and stress on you than simply running away.
Also the fact that theyre basically coffins

Dead Ahead = A shot down SBD Dauntless that has mutated into soke kind of cricket/fly. First found when you see a nose of the plane on the right.
Crawler = Basically one of the island's AA System (knowing the era it'll be one of those fixed emplacements), mutated into a spider. Basically the tripod (is that what you call the legs?) Turned into it's hands/legs, people assumed this was an anti mine thing.
Casket (Side thing to get the true ending i guess) = These are just... Airtight Patient Isolation Chambers, I dont even know what kind of animal/insect it's supposed to be. But basically these chambers are used to isolate soldiers that are beyond saving, just like the message before the chain link fence.
Sea Lagoon = Uhhhh... Seriously I don't even think this is an American sub to be honest with you, but from the name, this thing is supposed to be some kind of a landing sub for the enemy to invade the island.
David: Skeleton boi (Or what people call him). On a serious note, this is the island general officer when the war happened, of course, he's connected to the story (and Miyako knows him), basically lost his legs, felt guilty about his forces because not a single one of his men returned alive. Also leading the evacuation of the island, returned to the afterlife in one of the endings.
@@ST-zn3fj Yeah Casket was meant to isolate the soldiers, but as for what they are I don't think they're bugs at all. Just a cursed robot.
I think the scariest one for me was the Casket. Considering what’s inside them, the appearance, as well as the music [distorted, somewhat cheery. In a very VERY disturbing way]. Soldiers that were beyond saving, forced to go into these chambers and most likely suffocated to their demise in a dark bloody chamber, probably (if they just threw multiple bodies inside each one) surrounded by the smell of blood and decay. One of the worst ways to die. Alone, afraid and abandoned. Horrible and literally a nightmare.
galaxies_in_my_mind not to mention there was no escaping that fate. If you didn’t walk into it and tried to instead turn to run away, it would automatically snatch you up, and unlike they player, these soldiers likely didn’t have the option to simply go around them.

I really like the artstyle and story, unfortnately thats all locked behind unnecessarily difficult boss battles. The big skeleton gave you absolutely no room for error when running.
Im all up for a challenge, but not on the rpgmaker engine.
Dark Water Yea I didn’t have a great time with the skeleton at all playing this back when I got it. It’s a pretty mixed bag of a game with all the trial and error from certain parts.

Just mod it to where it plays Megalovania when the skeleton shows. Turns the atmosphere in a different way

I think the "jet" is actually an attack plane that has crashelanded in this cursed island and some bug fond the old wreckage and decided to crawl in there.I think is an American or Japanese one judging by the cockpit but I don’t know better

I'd assume Sea Lagoon is a Nuclear Sub, but the thing said it's a Stealth Landing sub, so it was made to carry soldiers for landing op

But anyway, I don't think there's a U-Boat in the entire history that has vertical hatches like the one on Sea Lagoon

From the plot and the things that happen, it feels like Ib but set in an island with some Gyo thrown into the mix. I love it

some furry took over the world, something like that
Basically you are young girl who come to ex warzone area with your fellow schoolmate and got lost to the jungle there you meet all monster created from memory of the war and you meet young girl who later revealed as a spirit of killed nun. Through your journey your teacher who are the friend of the nun will search for you but got swept by the flood. You will come to abandoned cabin belonged to captain ( giant skeleton ) who got all his batallion killed and he try to protect them from you. After escaping and burning the cabin you will come across river of styx and the nun ghost will say goodbye to you and come across to the afterlife later you will find your teacher and she will tell her story

Interesting youtube recomendation. I would love to see mechanical bosses like these on sandbox games like GTAV since they are ading futuristic stuff or Saints Row 5 .. inFAMOUS and even [PROTOTYPE] .. great giant bosses in those 2 last one!!

Honestly looks about on par with the likes of Witch's House, Ao Oni, and many others. It's the kinda thing where I think if their speed is set any slower, they don't have a chance of catching the player, but this speed usually requires a couple save/loads to figure out the path you have to take to run away successfully.
@@Matthias129 I get why they're made that way, but trial and error just isn't my thing. Which sucks because a lot of these games have really interesting stories.

The first monster in the video looks like a Japanese or American judging by the cockpit and the wing placement but I can’t say what kind of plane it is. I think it is a attack plane by the size of it but the name of the plane I don’t really know

@@mrevanoc dead soldiers, its implied on a memior that soldiers that were far from saving were pit into the isolation chambers and left to die, they haunt the place, possesing those said chambers
