MERRY CHRISTMAS (to those who celebrate)!
This is actually a gift for my Gilmore Girls Secret Santa on tumblr - the lovely Nicole. She said Luke is her favourite character and I've always wanted to do a video of him cause I mean who doesn't want a Luke Danes in their life? And then I heard this song and it just clicked (I mean doesn't this song just scream Luke?). He's such a wonderfully layered character with so many great qualities but what I tried to show most in this video is what he does best - look after and care for those around him, in his own grumpy but loveable way.
Oh and I apologise that this is like 50% a Luke&Lorelai video but I mean she's got the best quotes about Luke - the woman loves her man that's for sure (even before he was her man). But I also tried to focus on his other most important relationships - Jess, Rory & April.
Hope you enjoy this Nicole. And I hope all of you had/have a wonderful Christmas/holiday break with family, friends and good food!

He's far from a perfect person, but he is a good guy who cares a lot more than he lets on... sometimes more than even HE realizes... the "whoa" when he visualizes Lorelai's face gets me every time. It's a silly premise that leads to this perfectly sincere moment. This edit is perfect and i love this song.👍

Wow, this is incredible. I'm over here balling now, great video. I recently made a Gilmore video for my mom on mother's day, so this really touched my heart. Luke is an amazing character. Scott Patterson came out with coffee a couple of years ago, I got it for her as a gift as well. Everyone should try it, it tastes amazing.

This is PERFECT! What a wonderful tribute to great character (I say this as someone who hasn't watched the show but I know I love him anyway) and you've done such a PERFECT job of showing why he is so loved not just in the show but also by yourself! Your use of voiceovers was so perfect as well and none of them felt out of place or jarring, this is basically just AMAZING
