The male VA just sounds too bored. It doesn't fit the scenes at times. The voices really do matter for the story to be intriguing or at least interesting imo. Still it's not bad just imo.
And many words also get skipped or at least compressed down to an atom.
It kind of seems like the VA doesn't care much for the story or the lines of dialog.

His decision to not include the "of" makes it "during the summer of junior high school", which is a totally different grade level in western schools, but at the very least, makes it sound like someone natively speaking English.

From princes marrying a maids daughter out of wedlock to rich bored guys buying them from a certain market. You can count on one hand how many stories revolve around a wealthy/popular girl dating a trash guy that is not a wuxia/been with them since childhood story.
the answer is simple: storywriting. Japanese writers surely love MC's that are simps, can't stand up for themselves and are in fact beta male leads. I can't blame this channel though I do really hope the japanese channel do minimize stories with unpopular MC's like this one

I doubt the criticism left in the comments is relayed to the original creators. So, your best chance of getting your criticism heard is to translate it into Japanese and leave a comment on the original Japanese channel or video.

One day, my drunk cousin came over", a little bit of this called "My favorite idol secretly told me she was quitting because she was getting married..." and last month called "I accidentally handed her the wrong papers, and now she wants to be my wife...?". this story is basically a mix of 6 months ago called "a marriage certificate suddenly arrives at a single man's house..." just for the girl to come back years after the mc gets a marriage form in the mail when he long since forgot about her after he got rejected and treated coldly, claims to be his wife despite NEVER DATING and having him move in with her, last month called "I ran into a childhood friend at the matchmaking party who knows my embrassing past..." for the girl coming back (i think) but wants to be with her crush and even living with him and 2 months back called "my childhood friend is a popular idol but she risks everything to come visit me" since she wants to go to his place despite being popular as a model than an idol. art style and character design was seen again since last month called "the girl at the video rental store thinks I'm renting something lewd, so she came over" and the ACTUALLY thumbnail art but others i said mixed in and drawn differently. i didn't get why rio did all that here on this episode. don't even get me started with this pale bland ass male voice actor here. sagewolf (if it's even him), are you even trying to act or is this ai produced? no emotion on the guy. the story WAS good until everything went confusing and horrible with rio calling him a cheater EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN'T EVEN DATE and speaking off, his reasons before the misunderstanding felt so out of it and bland as hell again. the yandere shit on 16:09 wasn't even necessary for this. aside from rio's cute chibi moments and worst of all, NO APOLOGY CAME INTO PLAY. the ending sucked most of all since his "promise" was broken as she words it. no context on the reasons for his "running away". dude's shirt saying friend got me and forced would be and understatement. i didn't understand ANY OF THIS. in short, rio was annoying as hell and mc makes things worse and the way he "apologizes" didn't feel like it and doesn't even bother to give context once again over ALL OF IT. 3:06 I thought she looked thicc for a second there. rio's change of hairstyles didn't look bad on her ponytail and flat down. and to think yusuke got the same name as yusuke urameshi from yu yu hakusho. this felt confusing after i got done watching. i would've said more but i already wasted less than an hour dealing with kawaii romcom mangas' guideline shit when i was commenting. for now, i may like yesterday's episode (not the complication one since last night, I instantly regretted it). rebecca comes back 2 days later. i feel bad for her acting with this emotionless actor, it felt wasted here. liked the art but mixed feelings on everything else. also, way to waste a man's birthday party with this episode, am I right?

So . . . The FMC needs to work on her own issues before she decides to get married. The idea of marriage is one thing, but the reality is different. Marriage requires communication and trust. Jumping to conclusions after seeing her boyfriend having a meeting with a woman, accusing him rather than questioning, not even being willing to listen to an explanation . . . All of these are problematic behaviors that won't foster a healthy relationship. To make matters worse, even after he explained what happened and how he wasn't in the wrong, she still blamed him. She made it about how she 'felt' rather than what she 'did' and put the blame, wrongfully, on him. My advice? Talk to her about learning to be accountable, learning to trust, and if she's not willing to address her own issues, walk away.

Male Voice Actor should put more emotions in his voice on some scenes wherein emotions are required for both story and voice acting to be impactful because the story sounds so bland due to the voice. Just my opinion 😅
