since you liked the aranara quest, thought I'd do the desert questline too! this format is kinda nice to record and hopefully there's not too many blanks!

this quest is much shorter than the aranara one, i loved the gameplay aspect but lore--wise and personality-wise i would give the aranara anything and everything i own.
benben and jeth's relationship is still the highlight of the quest for me

Ah, rednas content. I love the bouncy voice you read dialogue with, it’s so pleasant to hear you do story quests in particular. It’s a good way to review the lore as well while doing other things

I did this quest for that device thing, ended being sad that Jebrael was gone. :( My man was a dilf and he just sacrificed himself. 😞
It has the same feeling with the ending of the Aranyaka quest where Arama sacrificed themselves to become the new tree.
Btw, after the server reset, there’s basically a sequel to this quest where you can get all the clearances of the device (the scarlet sand slate in your quest inventory). Just find the old man with the thirty corps npc (it will show the quest in Aaru village).

Just fyi, using elemental sight is very useful in the temples. Without it is very easy to miss a door or mechanism.
Also the reason people sleep to your videos is because you have a very relaxing voice and personality. Pls never stop.
Very excited to watch this video! I loved this quest, Jeht and Jebrael were great and I had a lot of fun doing the puzzles in the ruins
I'm glad you record these quests. I'm always too impatient to read everything when I'm playing on my own so I skip a lot of dialogue, but this way I can watch it and know the story in my own time. It's nice!

Thank you for posting this. I have bad ADD and it’s hard for me to focus, so I usually skip world quests, but I know this one is lore heavy and I like more lore. Having someone reading everything out while I follow along helps. I enjoy the content very much.

There is a continuation to this quest where you fill out the slate, but it's not as dialogue heavy or even questy, feels more like exploration. Not sure if it would make a good video or not. It is necessary however if you want full clearance levels for your exploration efforts later.

Clearance can also mean Authority!! Like a higher clearance can mean you have access to more uhh rooms in a highly guarded science lab!! A lead researcher would have more 'clearance' than an intern!!!

For whoever doesn’t know; I just wanted to mention that if you scroll through all of those tutorial/guide/info pages (each one that has a ❗️ next to them) you’ll earn primos for each and every one that you clear. Nice way to make some extra primogems 👍🏼
Don’t even have to read them if you don’t wanna lol can just quickly scroll through em all. Do suggest you at least skim them though 😅 they are tutorials for the game after all.

I have to agree with you completely, for me the ending also seems totally like there has to be more. Loose end definitely fits here. And I personally really hope that Hoyo doesn't let this story end like this.

I feel like I should get compensated for the amount of annoyance that I received from Tirzad in this quest. Everytime he opens his mouth, I immediately want to smack him in the face.
I'm glad that Jeht's personality shined all throughout the quest. Definitely one of the best NPCs in the game.

0:10 In case you haven't continued it yet, that Roses quest (because yes, it does go on a bit further - the rose lady is gonna give you a hint on where to go next if you talk with her again) is one I'd fully recommend, btw. Very heartwarming, definitely made me cry and yet very low-effort for the player, because it's just a lot of "come back tomorrow - in real life time" until it ends. But the story is just SO NICE!
6:07 Pretty sure by now you def remember, but whatevs: Cyrus is the Mondstadt leader of the Adventurer's Guild. Aka, the rugged guy always standing in front of that one building, with the loud af voice, who laughs like he's just discovered something amazing every time anyone talks with him.

Like seelies and stuff have a checkpoint every few steps and they'll stay there even if your game crashes on you, but I think these guys don't. Or maybe it's related to loading zones...
Either way: Better in case of game crashing. I'd assume. Otherwise it's just a weird design choice, which... would be weird...

And it's kinda fun to hear where your misreading takes you, whenever it doesn't match the stuff on screen.
It adds another layer to everything. One that's in turns either just funny, or highlights the specific phrasing they used 'cause you've inadvertendly shown how else they could've put it.
Really lends itself to thinking too much about all kinds of stuff on top of the normal stuff the game gets you to think about, you know?
I do sleep to these. Not because they're boring, but because your voice is quite pleasing to the ear. It's like a podcast but better because its genshin
honestly i love your voice a lot its very soothing so yeah, sometimes if I'm struggling to relax n just sleep throwing on a video of yours I've already seen and rewatching it helps me fall asleep. but also like I've said in a stupid amount of comments at this point, I really enjoy these videos while I study. helps me focus better than music or silence fr, seriously thank you for all the content 🙏🙏

Just an fyi, there's a continuation to this world quest when u go back to Aaru village (the world quest is called Dual Evidence) which helps u unlock clearance for the whole desert and helps guide u through exploring the desert (i got 100% exploration on the desert through this quest)
