McDaniel is a great run game designer but lacks the stones to lean on his rushing attack and is afraid to run the ball on 3rd and 4th & 1,2 or 3. He is overly infatuated with Tua and the glamour of their hot potato offense when it's clicking. I'm afraid they spent this offseason detailing and trying to perfect the same exact offense as last year instead of expanding the offense to include double move plays to counter the better defenses over-aggression right off the line of scrimmage. NFL defenses will copycat plays and systems that they see work. Last year, we finished the season 11-6 and putting up a large percentage of our points and yardage in lopsided wins, which was enough to land Tua a massive long term extension. The concern here are the 7 games we played in 2023 against teams with a +.500 record. In those games we went 1-6, averaging 16 points per game and not only was our offense slowed down, it was completely brought to a grinding halt and neither McDaniel nor Tua had any kind of answer at all and, I'd even say, they both fell apart. Unfortunately, the offensive line will be as inconsistent, below average and injury prone as every other year, so expect a dropoff in production and a reduction in wins from 11 down to 7-9.
I think rookie RB, Jaylen Wright has Chris Johnson-like explosiveness but McDaniel's mindset is way too passing-centric to allow Wright enough opportunities to build up to an ignition point and just explode into stardom.
My last point regarding the offense has to do with GM, Chris Grier. What kind of locker room (resentment) culture are you building when you spend weeks of energy and focus and allocate a $#itload of money negotiating and getting signed to a three year extension worth $28 million/year, your #2 WR, who still has another year on his rookie deal while at the same shuffling sub-par offensive linemen in and out of the lineup, and moving guys from C to G or G to T or T to G or G to C, giving them no chance whatsoever to focus in and get great at one position or become a cohesive unit knowing your GM thinks so little of the work you do inthe trenches that the yearly salaries of the presumed s5arting five on opening day is almost identical to what he just agreed to pay the team's #2 receiver per year. And if LT, Terron Armstead, goes down, which is all but guaranteed, the new starting five's combined annual salary drops to around $15-16 million/year. This is what Grier has done. This is the wall he has spent five years constructing to protect his franchise QB. Congrats, Chuckles, on completing the mighty fortress we will all hail as the The Wet Sand Welfare Wall.

Their is no secret. They are looking to totally annihilate an NFL franchise that once was the winngest Sports Franchise of all Franchises. They gave one man 167 million dollar guarantee over a 4 year contract. This man was a QB in college and even though he sustained a severe injury , he actually quarterbacked Alabama in the second-half to a National Championship Title.
He was chosen by Miami and has played 4 seasons; although he sustained concussions and rarely beat teams who had a winning record he led his team to more wins than losses. So, miami decided that a QB who was injured seriously and missed games was worth a 4 year 212 million dollar contract; 167 million dollars is guaranteed. This team has one of the worst offensive lines which played so bad the third week of 2024 that their 2nd string QB was knocked out of the game. Does this franchise really expect this highly over paid QB who loses most games to teams with winning records to play behind a Offensive Line that could not protect a second string QB from injury? No, I expect tua to quit and take all that money which quite a bit will count against the Cap. This team will rebuilding forever rendering it a bottom feeder in a league that has lost touch with common reality..

Bro he’s was the number 4 qb before his injury so go glaze Josh Allen instead of making fun of Tua
