Danke dir viemals !!!
When you played in the snare at the end, does it auto-quantize? As in, can I nudge drum sounds slightly off grid? Sometimes with claps especially, I might move them slightly before the kick, just a few milliseconds so the loudest part of the clap kind of melts into the kick fundamental.
my circuit is messed up, when I have the filter in the 'normal position' in the middle, it sounds like its all the way on the low side, any way i might be able to return it to factory settings or fix this problem, because if I turn it higher, it doesn't sound like drums anymore, and it sounds like a really high pitched sqeaking noise thx again
hey thanks for the tutorial. I have a question. how do you go back or delete a sound if you record a sound you don't want to add or keep over a sound you already made?
all these videos are great. just copped my circuit the other day and doing a bit of studying up. only thing, it doesn't sample, right? that seems like a major limitation somehow.
+masago Shuji Thanks. The Novation Circuit is not very usefull for finger drumming if you're asking me. The pad sensitivity isn't well-controlable and the pads are a bit small for proper finger drumming. Cheers!
Yes, there are individual drum tones. You can also use your own samples with the Novation Components software with your own sessions, samples and patches.
Why no led display screen? That's Weird why it doesn't have one. So when you record a song where does it go? And how do you load that Song you recorded when there's no led screen to look at.
+Matt Smith All songs are stored as "sessions". There are 32 sessions available on that device. One session per pad in session view. I agree, no LCD display is kind of uncommon.
coz its not needed, You can use this without having to have one.. if You get used to it, the flow is smooth and fine, btw all customizable, a screen would be nice ofcoz :P
I'm not sure, BUT a user resently wrote me and said that there is a firmware update available now (1.2) which lets you replace sounds by your own audio material.
Finger drumming not is not used in making electronic music. It's used in making hip hop beats. How people don't know this already is really strange to me. Or don't have experience in making music I guess. Looks cool and fun. Why there is no LED display baffles me.
Thank you for these tutorials! I was really struggling to make sense of this device until I found these!
Yep i'm sticking with this series of tutorials ! excellent and cheers Andreas
Thanks, Pete!
Excellent tutorial, thank you very much!
Brilliantly and simplistically explained, great job buddy!
Thanks, mate!

The best tutorial I've seen on circuit
Thank you for these videos, very helpful.
Great tutorial! For the moment it is a great tool in my develop process ! I copied a link to the Novation users group on FB. Thx again
+Marc Geeroms That's awesome! Many thanks, Marc!

thanks, now i understand it much better!
I just need this to make drum tracks with before I go into making a full beat in Logic Pro X.

nice tutorial! say, is it possible to do more than just 16 steps with this? seems very limiting with only 16 steps
all these videos are great. just copped my circuit the other day and doing a bit of studying up. only thing, it doesn't sample, right? that seems like a major limitation somehow.
+Matt Gamin Thanks, mate. Indeed, it doesn't sample.

+XpressPads Finger Drumming I got it.thanks !
How do you space between two bars with your pads to make a drum beat
Thanks 👏❤️👍
Quick question, is the max amount 16 steps in the sequencer? Or is it possible to make it 32?
It's 16 per pattern. You can extend the pattern to 8 per synth/drum so it's 16 x 8 steps max per instrument per session.
nice tutorial. how to play finger drumming ?
You mention the drums are bass, snare, closed hat, and open hat - is there no tom, crash, or clap sound available?
Yes, there are individual drum tones. You can also use your own samples with the Novation Components software with your own sessions, samples and patches.
So you can't change the swing for each track? Only globally?
+Sparkle Barf Yes, swing is a global function on the Novation Circuit.
That one only one of the many reasons I took back this kids toy...thanks for the helpful tutorial though

How do i delete notes how do i start a new files😢
So you can only have 4 drums at once?
How do I save after making a groove?
Press save twice
Nice tutorial helps.....are you from Sweden btw?
+David Whelan Thanks, mate. I'm from Germany.
+XpressPads Finger Drumming cool loving the Circuit great device this makes it easier to understand :)
Are these things battery powered?
yes, you can run it on batteries, but it comes with a power plug too
I think this might be the best toy that's not a toy in the whole world.
Can it sound like a real drum kit?
rather not. Just 4 drum instruments playable at the same time.
