Shin means both new & God in Japanese, so there's maybe a little wordplay, but I wasn't sure if that was true for Korean as well (the kanji is the same in both for God 神, but I wasn't sure whether the Korean word for new was also a homophone the way it is in Japanese). Stray kids is unique and awesome. They are the best in the K-pop industry with transitions. They write, produce, and choreograph themselves. I would check out more of them for sure ❤
They are not credited in any of their choreos except for some solos they did for special stages and kingdom. If they would have contributed enough they would be in the credits. They choose the choreos given and they probably make some adjustments here and there but saying they are the choreographers is simply disrespectful to the real choreographers.

It also fits the fandom name Stay because when you take the R out of Stray, you get Stay aka the Reason (= R) why Stray Kids exist and can stay. Other songs I would recommend are Back Door, Thunderous or Case 143. They also just released a MV of the japanese version of their song Super Bowl, it's kinda wild but a lot of fun too 😄 If you would like more vocal focused songs as well, I would recommend their performances on the japanese show First Take of their songs Lost Me, Slump, Scars and Mixtape OH. (Scars and Mixtape OH have beautiful MVs as well!) Looking forward to your videos 🤗

Stray Kids is named by the team members. The group name expresses their determination to break the existing mold and go one step forward to be out of the ordinary. It also represents all the ppl around the world trying to find their way in life since we all are 'stray kids' in feeling a bit lost in this chaotic world.
Stray Kids did the opening and outro for the Tower of God anime. The opening is called Top and the outro is called Slump. (Since you seem to be anime fans)
This was really funny and having you guys freak out over the mvs and the drip is so relatable. Been a STAY (fandom name) since the beginning but every new video still throws me for a loop with how awesome they are. If you want more hype stuff I would recommend 2 songs off their newest album Topline and Get Lit but also 2 older songs Thunderous and Back Door. If you want to slow it down there is Ex, Secret Secret, and Levantar and also from their new album there is FNF. These are only a few as they have 160+ songs and only from when they were 8 members. I must warn you that some people are touchy about the member that left (Woojin) and did not recommend songs from that time so you can choose if you want to listen to them on camera or not. Some of the fandom have very opinionated views on Woojin and can be toxic but a majority of fans are extremely friendly. They have Making of Films for all of their MV's so if you want to get an idea of what cameras they are using and which effects are practical vs. cgi, that's a good place to start. They also interact with each other between filming and they'll usually do some kind of mission as entertainment for the fans, and to keep them busy between takes. Oh and they also have MV's for some of their b-sides too, so lots of content to consume!
Bang Jaeyeob is the director of S-class, God's Menu, Case 143 and several others. He's arguably the best video director in k-pop, if not simply the best video director working today. Smart to be inspired by him!
SKZ have amazing music, STAY's (fandom name) biggest flex is that they create this music themselves (lyrics, composition, production) and they are so chaotic and fun as people. They put in a lot of hard work and have become one of the best groups at performing live in any genre with their raps, dancing, singing and transitions. The song, God's Menu, is usually the gateway into SKZ and really put them on the world's map and of course, having deep voice 5-star Felix doesn't hurt. I recommend you check out some of their hard hitting song: Easy, Double Knot, Thunderous, Freeze, Venom, Backdoor, 3racha, Domino Battleground. More ballad-style: The Sound, Charmer, Chill, Neverending Story, Hate to Admit, FnF, DLC, Youtiful, Winter Falls. Just to name a few.. Their June comeback: the whole '5 Star' Album is truly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from the title track "S Class" as well as Topline, Item, Get Lit, Hall of Fame, and Super-bowl (which was the original "God's menu" track). All their MV's, (the stylists, editors, producers) are master-craft people and worth every penny. This group keeps their STAY well fed. Oh and Bang Chan and Felix are Korean Aussies, so most MVs will have English subtitles so you can turn them on. Also, Watch the dance practices videos for the songs. These are amazing to watch what they do for concerts/stage shows.

I don't really know but I think, the reason behind the name stray kids is because when you remove the R on the stray it would then be spelled as stay, which holds a deeper meaning for the boys, so basically it means that they will always be there for their fans and love ones through their music😅

They're stray because at least the leader, bang chan, trained for 7 years without getting picked to debut so he made his own group. First he got with han and changbin to form 3racha that produced their own music (they still are the core production team for stray kids music) then eventually got approval from jyp to experimentally form a boy group and hand picked them members himself. They still had to prove they were ready to debut by doing a survival show. So it was a bunch of strays that gathered together to make theor own way on thwir own terms. On top of that, a core concept the kids hold is that anybody is welcome. They accept strays of all types into their fold and encourage their fans to do the same❣️

Since y’all mentioned anime a couple times I thought I should mention skz also love anime and they make references in their songs (demon slayer in muddy water and one piece in top line to name a few) and have also done the songs for the opening and closing of the anime tower of god! They are all multi talented but each of the members are in units that contribute different things for the group. Their production has always been fire to me. Vocals on point. Choreography flawless. Try Stray Kids Venom, Freeze, and if you are willing to check out a more ballad type song from them, Lonely St, all from the Oddinary album. From the 5 Star album, harder hitting MVs would be Get Lit (you will fall apart over the outfits, the whole video is basically a fashion show) and Topline with old school hip hop, old school styling, and an old school feel to the video. The song Superbowl is 100% in English on the 5Star album but the video is for the Japanese version.
The enthusiasm is fun to see; I'm glad he enjoyed it. But watching him constantly look away _and_ talk over everything, missing half of both the visual and audio content of every MV, is frustrating enough to make me hesitant to go another round.

Stray Kids is named by the team members. The group name expresses their determination to break the existing mold and go one step forward to be out of the ordinary. It also represents all the ppl around the world trying to find their way in life since we all are 'stray kids' in feeling a bit lost in this chaotic world.
Stray Kids did the opening and outro for the Tower of God anime. The opening is called Top and the outro is called Slump. (Since you seem to be anime fans)
This was really funny and having you guys freak out over the mvs and the drip is so relatable. Been a STAY (fandom name) since the beginning but every new video still throws me for a loop with how awesome they are.
If you want more hype stuff I would recommend 2 songs off their newest album Topline and Get Lit but also 2 older songs Thunderous and Back Door.
If you want to slow it down there is Ex, Secret Secret, and Levantar and also from their new album there is FNF.
These are only a few as they have 160+ songs and only from when they were 8 members. I must warn you that some people are touchy about the member that left (Woojin) and did not recommend songs from that time so you can choose if you want to listen to them on camera or not. Some of the fandom have very opinionated views on Woojin and can be toxic but a majority of fans are extremely friendly. We will understand whatever you choose and I will look forward to more reactions.

They have Making of Films for all of their MV's so if you want to get an idea of what cameras they are using and which effects are practical vs. cgi, that's a good place to start. They also interact with each other between filming and they'll usually do some kind of mission as entertainment for the fans, and to keep them busy between takes.
Oh and they also have MV's for some of their b-sides too, so lots of content to consume!
Bang Jaeyeob is the director of S-class, God's Menu, Case 143 and several others. He's arguably the best video director in k-pop, if not simply the best video director working today. Smart to be inspired by him!

SKZ have amazing music, STAY's (fandom name) biggest flex is that they create this music themselves (lyrics, composition, production) and they are so chaotic and fun as people. They put in a lot of hard work and have become one of the best groups at performing live in any genre with their raps, dancing, singing and transitions. The song, God's Menu, is usually the gateway into SKZ and really put them on the world's map and of course, having deep voice 5-star Felix doesn't hurt.
I recommend you check out some of their hard hitting song: Easy, Double Knot, Thunderous, Freeze, Venom, Backdoor, 3racha, Domino Battleground. More ballad-style: The Sound, Charmer, Chill, Neverending Story, Hate to Admit, FnF, DLC, Youtiful, Winter Falls. Just to name a few.. Their June comeback: the whole '5 Star' Album is truly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from the title track "S Class" as well as Topline, Item, Get Lit, Hall of Fame, and Super-bowl (which was the original "God's menu" track). All their MV's, (the stylists, editors, producers) are master-craft people and worth every penny. This group keeps their STAY well fed. Oh and Bang Chan and Felix are Korean Aussies, so most MVs will have English subtitles so you can turn them on. Also, Watch the dance practices videos for the songs. These are amazing to watch what they do for concerts/stage shows.

The girls from god's menu are from a japanese girl group formed in a reality show in a collab with JYP (skz's company), so that why they are there

I don't really know but I think, the reason behind the name stray kids is because when you remove the R on the stray it would then be spelled as stay, which holds a deeper meaning for the boys, so basically it means that they will always be there for their fans and love ones through their music😅

There's so much more songs for you to reacy to, in such a variety of genres, but for MV and production value, I would go to Freeze and Venom next (both on the same album as Maniac).
Gods menu, they are chef's, 5 star Michelin and they have whatever you want to eat. Basically they are the it...
They're stray because at least the leader, bang chan, trained for 7 years without getting picked to debut so he made his own group. First he got with han and changbin to form 3racha that produced their own music (they still are the core production team for stray kids music) then eventually got approval from jyp to experimentally form a boy group and hand picked them members himself. They still had to prove they were ready to debut by doing a survival show. So it was a bunch of strays that gathered together to make theor own way on thwir own terms. On top of that, a core concept the kids hold is that anybody is welcome. They accept strays of all types into their fold and encourage their fans to do the same❣️

Since y’all mentioned anime a couple times I thought I should mention skz also love anime and they make references in their songs (demon slayer in muddy water and one piece in top line to name a few) and have also done the songs for the opening and closing of the anime tower of god! The songs are called top and slump and they’ve done an mv for top and a first take for slump that I would highly recommend checking out!

Try Stray Kids Venom, Freeze, and if you are willing to check out a more ballad type song from them, Lonely St, all from the Oddinary album. From the 5 Star album, harder hitting MVs would be Get Lit (you will fall apart over the outfits, the whole video is basically a fashion show) and Topline with old school hip hop, old school styling, and an old school feel to the video. The song Superbowl is 100% in English on the 5Star album but the video is for the Japanese version.
