So you pull the chain and then wait ten seconds to pull it again to change the speed ? I had decided it was just a single speed fan.
Mine changes speed even if you pull the chain immediately without waiting 10 seconds; I assume the 10 second request in the manual is to protect the motor somehow. Sounds like yours has a defect
