OMG I love this video and bookmarked it so i can use it for reference when im coming to tokyo in 2 weeks! I cant wait to try all these kaiten sushi places!! 🤩amazing video and ranking iNoK!!!
I know everybody wants to have that epic 'Jiro' sushi experience when in Japan but so often those places are not just prohibitively expensive but impossible to book with relatively short notice and as a foreigner. I sincerely hope people won't be disappointed to have slightly less high quality, upscale 'authentic' sushi experiences because sushi that is deemed 'not bad, quite good..3 stars out of 5' by the standards of a discerning native Japanese person will knock the socks of the average Westerner. As many Japanese people have told me, 'it's pretty difficult to find bad sushi in Japan'. I'm so happy to have clicked on this video because I've never eaten at these particular sushi restaurants. It's nice to have some highly recommended budget options to look forward to trying next time. Thank you so much! Many conveyor belt restaurant served me sushi that I found delicious! Absolutely no smell and no weird taste. Sushi (and seafood in general in Japan) is such a delightful surprise for a person who's not big into seafood. PS= For the all the Brits reading in the future: try and seek out a place that serves seasonal, regional fish that's like our version of 'fish'n'chips' but fried in that superior Japanese style-- you will dream of it when you return to the UK I promise.
Thank you for wonderful comment!! yes, there're lots of sushi restaurants in Japan and most of them are good! So It's actually we don't need to choose carefully, but tourists do not know which one they should visit so I made this video!! I'm so happy that you like this video too!! I love fish and chips, and I'm glad to hear you have seasonal fish in UK. I love seafood so I wanna try all of them 👍
@@foodinjapan2256 Oh no we don't do seasonal fish in the UK generally speaking. Our seafood is TERRIBLE in comparison to Japan. I meant Brits ought to seek out a place serving seasonal & regional seafood in, say, an izakaya that offers battered fish in some form on the menu-- it'll be ten times better than anything they've ever tasted in the UK. I had little 'nuggets' of fish in a rowdy izakaya in Okinawa and it was the most delicious thing. I wish we'd have just ordered more of them instead of all the other little plates we ate, ha! I love Japan. Currently saving for my return trip, hopefully in 2025. Love your channel!!
@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 Ohhh nooo please don't say that. UK food is also really good!! I believe that!! Japanese seafood must be tasty otherwise Japanese worthless😅 I hope you come back to Japan soon and enjoy lots more Japanese food👍 Thank you for watching my videos! I'll keep it up💪
Always makes me happy to watch your videos, you seem to have good times and so energetic!! I will bookmark some of these restaurants for my trip in this December 😄😄
All the restaurants look really good, and thanks a lot for sharing iNok. When I am in a normal sushi restaurant, I tend to order the things that I really like, and dont try other things, which I might also like. Thats why I like kaizen sushi places (where there is actually sushi on the convenyor belt). That way, I will see something that looks good, and will try it, and will most probably like it. The even better alternative, is to have omakase and let the sushi chef decide, but thats not something that I can afford too often.
I know what you feel, I always order same one especially horse mackerel, shrimp, yellowtail so Omakase is really good but it's expensive😭 If this channel was grown enough, I would like to visit and film Omakase Sushi 👍
Speaking of Mawashi, how do you feel about sumo? I’m coming back to Tokyo in May to watch sumo. I’ve been a fan for many years, but watching sumo from America is very difficult.
It's traditional style for Sumo. It's the only one that Sumo wrestler can wear and no one thinks that is strange. People think it's so cool even though they are almost naked. Watching sumo is so exciting and so lively!! I'm sure you love real Sumo is!!
