昔、「生のココナッツが飲める」というイベントが地元に来たことがある。
物珍しさで店の前には大行列。店内では外人さんが動画のようにナタでカット、ストローを挿してくれた。
そして店外に出たら、飲み残しのココナッツが大量にゴミ袋へ捨てられてた。
ココナッツにも種類があるのか、日本人には合わない味だったのか、自分も子供ながらに複雑な気持ちで捨てた記憶があります。
