Even without magic or any augmentations, noxians are true powerhouses. Medarda holding her own in episode 9 against both caitlyn and mel who has some of the most powerful abilities out of any character in this show.
Well, technically Caitlyn was wounded and exhausted and Mel barely got her power and no one to teach her, so she might not even have been at a tenth of her full potential. I think that made the fight a bit more even. Also Caitilyn was fighting close combat, that's not her speciality.
Jinx should’ve fought Ambessa in act 3. After her fight with Rictus, she knows about the green runes that absorb Hextech. It would’ve been an interesting fight seeing Jinx figure out ways around it while Ambessa chases her around
