Don’t get me wrong I think season 6 is off to a great start but man The Chi missed out big time letting these 2 go. Could you imagine the character development of these 2 at this point of the show we are at. It hurt the storyline of the show for sure.

The best thing Jason said in this interview was about having the right ppl around him to navigate this new fame. Having ppl around you that will call you out when your wildin is important, too many ppl once they become famous surround themselves with "yes" men. Once you have ppl around that will call u out and hold u accountable will always keep u good.
I will always have the ultimate respect for Barton. Hollywood tried to make him Do sex scenes with a man . He told them no & told them he was straight. So they killed his character off of the Chi
When Jason got taken off the Chi, i stopped watching. He did such an amazing job, it just wasn't the same w/o him. Now that's hes getting back out there, i cant wait to see what he comes out with. Hes super talented ❤

Jason Mitchell is a great actor and I loved him on Straight Outta Compton but to say The Chi “fell off” after his character got killed is wild. If anything, the show got a little better once they had one less story to focus on because all Brandon was doing was cooking and getting into arguments with his girl lol. As far as Barton’s character Reg is concerned, I hated seeing him get killed off but tbh Victor (his brother) is a much better character and actually adds layers to the show. Now the character I can’t wait for Lena to kill off is Douda - THAT nigga gotta go!

I am so proud that Jason Mitchell bounced back. The way he was treated when he was dealing with accusations was unfair. We need to wait to hear the full story. I am not saying Jason did anything or not. I need that to be clear. His treatment was wrg..
His co worker, Tiffany Boone accused him of assault. So did other women on completely different sets. he was treated the way he was treated cuz he did that shit. If you watch his last breakfast club interview, you can tell that dude story didn't add up and he was lying.
If you don't know the story, you can't say his treatment was wrong. He said it best. He was not hit with criminal accusations, charges, or consequences. He said he experienced quick success, was on a high, and made choices without awareness of the repercussions. He experienced the consequences and bounced backed. You can never tell a person how to feel, respond to, or characterize you actions. Emotional intelligence is key for any human interaction .

Everything is Both was pretty good. I’m watching anything with Jason Mitchell in it anyways (gotta rep for the home team ⚜️ and he’s great). My take on the movie is: The narration really wasn’t needed, repeating lines aren’t necessary, some of the overdramatized scenes were too much, and lastly, the ending should have been much more interesting/clear. It makes us think there should be a part two (which I would love to see).
I haven't seen it yet, but i'm interested in watching it. I'm a check it out.
