Wow that is cool!! I would not have thought about connecting the D70 speakers independently to an AVR to achieve true surround sound. I think this sold me on the D70. As the extra cost for the D80 for an essentially generic branded sound system just isn't worth it to me. Not to mention it being virtual Atmos without any upfiring or downfiring speakers. I'm a bit disappointed none of their products support DTS encoding. That would have been a very nice selling point for the D70. But again, an AVR with DTS and Atmos support is probably the best choice regardless in that respect. What worries me though is the rear speakers of the Ultimea systems being rather short to be plugged directly into an AVR. With them being connected to the included subwoofer, placed in the back of the room and the sub being connected via bluetooth with the recommended setup. There's a lot to mull over with Ultimea's products!
But I am asking the question. in the last five years I have not seen a TV, or movie streaming service provided DTS as an option. Everything is Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision. So I kind of understand why none of these manufacturers are bothering with DTS audio.
@@tvboxstop Thanks for the clarification. From Ultimae they tell me that neither does the D80 and at the moment they have no thought of implementing it. I saw that it is very easy if you wanted to. A clear example is the Neutron Player app that has up to 10-15 presets with parametric filters from 10 to 60 filters per channel at least, delays, high and low pass filters, etc., etc. In the end we will have to look at the Flexus Core 300 with Dirac Live (although it is much more expensive). Well I use the the auxiliary input on the Soundbar and connected to the front speaker channels on the AV receiver using female RCA cables with Open end wires you can find them on Amazon. Then I connected four speakers to side and surround speaker channels on a receiver using more RCA female cables. The subwoofer pairs to the Soundbar so it works on its own. I connected one additional speaker that does not belong to the system monitor it receivers a center channel. I set the Soundbar to auxiliary and everything works. Just mind not to over volt the speakers by turning the volume too high. amzn.to/3B4QHdD
Dont buy the D70 wait for the D80 that will be coming out soon. Its 7.1 true surround with dolby atmos support. The D70 is virtual surround and does not support dolby atmos.
@tvboxstop I'm sure it's like the d60 I have The subwoofer has its own power plug-in, and the left and right speakers are connected to the back of it. The front left and right are connected to the back of the soundbar. They have a description of it on their site. They said it's coming out mid November
Virtual Atmos. It may (or may not??) provide positional audio, but Atmos is impossible to achieve without upfiring or downfiring speakers. I wouldn't bank on Ultimea (or any other manufacturer's) Atmos labeling unless it indeed provides positional audio. Opposed to the D70 providing only virtual surround. Which I assume would essentially be 2-ch surround sound without positional audio capability.

I really like this sound bar Nick! It's only$180 wow!thanks for sharing this with me!
Glad you like it
Not too bad. Always interesting to see that in a digital world, we still see analogue cabling.
Thanks for the comment and a watch time

review tv box h96 max m9 thank you
I am still waiting for my sponsor to send that one for me
You have to really watch out for those cheap Chinese TV boxes, they install malware on alot of them.

I wouldn't doubt that but that means they would have to connect the subwoofer using wires and not the via Bluetooth.
