- It actually drives! This was a lot more work than I accepted, but his car build has perfectly round wheels!
Today, I'll abuse the controller and a bunch of bearings to literally reinvent the wheel in Scrap Mechanic! This is the most over-engineered car build ever!

You know, there are wheels in the game, usually a very effective manner in which you can transmit a rolling action into forward movement
But Scrap Mechanic is all but over-engineering the mundane

to fix that "dissapearing creatiom" you need to weld it to the ground & disconect it, one of my cars I spent alot of time on did that but after welding it back it was fixed
Turns out the lift spawns the creation under the map. But your solution sounds like it should work
LOL, it's like your the one guy that is the DD but your buddies are the ones that have to carry you home after a wild night.
This is why I make solid wheels, at a certain size, the blockiness doesn't even matter

to be honest, these wheels are actually good, they can hange shape a little bit whih makes them very good for terrain

Okay, easy question:
If you wrap a rope all the way around the Earth's equator, it would be almost 25 thousand miles long. How much would you have to increase its length in order to raise the whole thing 1 foot off of the ground?

That depends almost entirely on the terrain, because it's not going to be a circle. and it will collapse under its own weight.
If we ignore those facts of existence (like all mathematicians do), then the equation is simple.
Find the diameter of the earth, add 2 feet, multiply that by pi, then subtract the old circumference from this new one.
@@techstuff9198 That's what I did, jlignoring all external factors, assuming earth is a perfect sphere
If you then plug the numbers into the equation that Techstuff proposed you will see that you only have to add like 6 feet, which makes sence since the change in diameter is so miniscule. (We learned this in school, but having to calculate this in feet was an "experience" to say the least)
@@techstuff9198 You are right. The Earth's equator is not a perfect circle, but it is more perfectly round than a polished, undrilled bowling ball. And if that bowling ball had dew on it, it would be over 10 times deeper than the ocean, relatively speaking of course.
u know we don't have alot of wheels like only big and normal pretty much so this is useful and u can either put another wheel in the middle like on the car and put it infront of the wheel or just a bearing

I was getting your raft mod and I was like “you know you installed the mod correctly when the menu loading screen is different”
Idea: use just 2 of these wheels, connect them using a stick on bearings (basically you did it with the 4 wheel version, so cut it in half) add some smoll wheels (by smol i mean default wheeels) for the steering in front

What cpu you had and why psyhX psyhic aclelerators are now not components in pc but function off nvidia gpu's(what not was updated since iw was become this) it will help a lot for creations like this

No, physics 1 usually runs better.
But with the floppyness of physics 1 you would think it’s more laggy Ik I have like 600 hours on the game but it’s a new thing that was implemented so i don’t have very good experience with it
