The music video is soo good you're missing out but the live performance is good. The band playing with him is called "the band six" - they've played with a lot of famous ppl i the US and about 10 years ago Big Bang reached out to them and they've been the groups back up band on tour ever since. The first black band to back up a kpop group. Big Bang has always been bringing western culture into kpop since they debuted in 2006. They completely changed kpop and that's why they're the kings of kpop. A lot of the kpop artists today grew up fans of Big Bang and plenty got into the business because of Big Bang. You should check out TOP and G dragon's MV Zutter - but you HAVE to see the MV because its hilarious. TOP is the reason there is now usually a deep voiced rapper in every group and Big Bang is the reason there is usually 2 rappers in a lot of the male groups

they are the unsurpassed kings of kpop, a title pretty much officially given, by not just vips but the majority of the whole kpop fanbase and also by other idols and other korean celebrities. they are the by far most respected idol group ever.
they are one of the most talented idol group ever seen, singing, rapping, writing, composing, producing, dancing and creating dance choreos etc, they have it all, they started to make their own songs very early thanks to yg, who was always known for giving their artists the most freedom but because bigbang was so talented, they were allowed to do whatever they want, like for example calling out haters directly with songs they made against them, like gd did a few times, once with psy too, or how gd even dissed mama in their mama event 2014 with an epic diss rap against them and still managed to get invited the next year again.
they are the only group where every single member is very successful with their solo activities too, simply because every single one of them is a multitalented artist.
you should react more to them, especially their life performances, their stage presence is still unsurpassed too.
The reason I got into the Korean music scene years ago was BIGBANG. Even today, they are the standard for live performances for me. There's a reason they are called the Emperors of Kpop and Kings of Kpop.

not many people today know that Bigbang members other than GD are actually really great. During their time, each of the personnel had certain characteristics. Even though their group is on hiatus, each member still has their own fans. TOP is one of the rappers besides GD who is really cool. For the current generation, TOP is arguably an underated rapper. In fact, when he became a duo group with GD, they were able to break many records. Please listen to their duo unit song!

As others probably have mentioned, T.O.P -- the main rapper of the legendary K-hip-hop group, BigBang -- is really into art and he is known for his collections of paintings and artsy chairs and furniture. "Doom Dada" is all about the art movement called dadaism, which was a movement that started during WWI where artists rejected logic, reason and the aesthetic of modern capitalist society -- hence why you see the depictions of evolution and the angry baby, etc. The art movement spanned visual, literary and sound media, including collage, sound poetry, word collages, and sculpture, which is everything you will see and hear within the "Doom Dada" MV. (Yes, even the suit he wore in the live performance of "Doom Dada" is designed using the image of a famous painting.) Dadaist artists expressed their discontent toward violence, war and nationalism, and were connected with nonconformist radical political thinking and parties.
Although "Doom Dada" seems crazy, if you understand the concept behind the song and images, you see that the message is actually very deep and T.O.P is making a cultural and political statement.
In order to really understand most of T.O.P.'s songs and MVs you have to be pretty well versed in the art scene, because a large majority of his lyrics, images and metaphors have to do with art.
