World Series Baseball 2K1 is still the most recent baseball game I own. Why should I even bother with newer baseball games that don't even have the Montreal Expos?
@@darrink6214 Yeah, I think SegaLordX was recently praising the World Series Baseball games on Saturn in a video about Saturn sports games. But I never had a Saturn. (I grew up with Sega consoles starting with the Sega Master System but I skipped the Saturn because I couldn't afford one when it was new and, by the time I could afford to buy one, which for me was 1997, the Sega Saturn was already pretty much dead in the water in North America so I got a Playstation instead.)
@SportsPlug-cp1eq I wasn't talking about Major League Baseball-licensed games on other consoles that were contemporary or near contemporary to World Series Baseball on the Dreamcast, I was only talking about modern MLB-licensed games, which I'm aware has been only one single game series for the past decade or so, MLB: The Show. I think there might be options to play as the Washington Nationals in retro Montreal Expos uniforms in The Show but I'm not sure.
I'm amazed at the bizarre comments people make when referring to games they played when they were younger. This game doesn't touch any of MLB the show offerings. It was a stiff clunker back in 2001.
Ball really hangs up there in this game.

In a way it's only gone downhill since
Miss the Expos, playing WSB 98 for Sega Saturn currently which is a classic.
