I agree and the synth really connects it to the "digital" vibe the series used to have when if was a "demon summoning program". I wish the would lean into back into that aesthetically.
It took me way too long to realize but I love how Tao and Yoko are not just completely different in worldviews but also in terms of Skills. Tao is more about support Skills and ones that hit/support multiple while Yoko purely focuses on Skills for one target. Just another subtle way to show how Tao wants to help others while Yoko believes more that everyone has to fight for themselves
Seeing Aogami's essence escape Tiamat and ask the MC to take his hand like in the prologue and then this shit starts to blast the entire scene...Vengeance is certified PEAK
bro can you not brazenly drop endgame spoilers for a hype moment on a video for the common battle theme id get it if this was for a late game song but come on man this plays at the start, you're ruining it for everyone who comes here
@@forteprotze Are you dumb? Have you even played the game? Dumbass this is one of the endgame OST tracks, this shit happens quite literally by the moment the main story is almost over Most of the people coming here do so because they already reached that point in the story, genius Next time try actually playing the game instead of coming here and complaining like a little bih over a game you probably couldn't even afford
I played both routes and this theme is just peak. The first one gets boring after the last several battles. This one gives you a mystique or feel or floating as it plays.
Trust us man. You will grow to like it. It will get stuck in your head and you'll start humming it every battle. Battle are paced slightly faster, faster animations and less hanging time. so this music fits perfectly.
I didn't liked it at first, But what the bro up here says is true, it'll grow on you I still like the more aggressive tone of normal da'at but this right here is a banger too!
It‘s definitely a solid Track but I do kind of prefer the original. Idk, I always loved how empty the original sounded. Made it seem a lot more tense but also captured that feeling of „You‘re on your own in this world full of Demons“ This version here fits Vengeance‘s route more though, with trying to work more together with the other Human characters
it's fine? i've had such an antagonistic feeling towards the original release's music, a lot of it failed to match 4F's quality (Not entirely anyone working on the sound's fault; ludonarrative and all that), and while that's definitely true here, ehh? i don't dislike this one or even just feel kinda nothing to it. I see what they were attempting and I kinda appreciate it. I hate the bells part though. i've liked kozuka's work for the most part until 5 (The worst offenders are not their work, so like whatever), but this at least tells me that even this hyper corporate megaten can have something worth being lightly interested in (The games don't tell me that, that's for certain) anyway thanks for the upload. yall stay safe out there
What the fuck is that second paragraph even saying? Atlus was always corporate as hell with the billion drama CDs and mangas for every underperforming entry. Just say you don't like the song. It is okay to not like a song.
It gives me shivers from getting to hear that old style smt metal again, sounds so good.

@@karaiyamoon237 isn't it only 3 and 5 that really stray from that? And even in 5 the demon summoning program is pretty prominent story wise?
listening to original puts me in killing mode. remix is on another level. I have yet to finish the original SMTV
1:42 ending a Battle with this timing IS so satisfying
When Yoko joined the party and I heard this for the first time, I realized "Oh, this is going to be DIFFERENT different."
OLD SCHOOL SMT OST LET’S FUCKING GOOOOO!!!
I love how it feels to call out a demon or perform a unique cutscene attack or spell right 0:42 (especially Liliths Mother Earth spell animation)
Hearing the Nahobino leitmotiff with that echoing piano sends chills up my spine.
This soundscape really does harken back to SMT II psx, i really love it
How?
So classic SMT sounding. Definitely different but good
OLD SCHOOL SMT
Love this ost bro. I prefer it over the og battle da'at cause it feels closer to the older games' battle themes

when it slows down a bit and then the guitar starts up gooooooood

Finally, it feels like I'm back in the old days of the first SMT 😌
The original imo is better, but this isn't that bad for an alternate take. 1:11 to 1:42 is really good though
😌👌
The game has a ton of great battle tracks but I'll always associate this battle music most with SMTV.
I like it but idk y i like the og a lil bit more tht guitar solo with drum the best part
This sounds off-putting.
Maybe when i play SMTV:Ven, it may grow on me. But it sounds like its missing a few chords.

when does this play/
in the vengaence route, after you meet with a certain someone

I'll be real the first 20 seconds of this are ass, the rest is dull.
can you toggle the music in vengeance? i miss the original music :/
@@fishwasherr there is a mod for that already on Gamebanana.
Enjoy your wrong opinion 👍
The guitar solo is the best part imo be4 the drop
Nah I okayed the original on switch this is just as good if not better. It ties into the route perfectly.
