2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ thoughts: First off, If you want to play a game, I’d highly recommend doing a drinking game every time Jikook do rehearsals & leave together for this year cause you aren’t gonna be sober by the end of it 😂 I was shocked myself.
This video is a long one, mostly cause of tour, but also, I think they have reached their peak this year. If I drew a chart of their relationship progressing, this is “we’ve made it year”. 2018 was getting there, but THIS is the year they were truly, “in love” so to speak. If you think of them in the romantic sense.
It’s evident painfully so, if I had to show someone any year, it would be this year hands down because it’s just so ~painfully~ obvious. I wanted to evaporate while editing cause it felt so personal. From the huge amount of time together, excuses for being together all the time, going to each other for everything for something emotional or to talk to or tell them about things. You couldn’t separate them this year even if you stuck a pole between them.
Alongside their peak in their relationship, you see their emotional understanding be at it’s most fruitful, rewarding & strongest. When Jungkook is hurt he will tell Jimin, when Jimin is upset he is there with all arms and legs around him & kissing him sweetly on the side of the head, when the other is emotional the other is there instantly to see if they’re okay. They’re so heavily in-tuned with each other by 2019 then it’s unmistakable, their emotional connection. Jungkook has now adapted that Jimin’s love language is physical affection when it comes to being upset/emotional (how he learned to “suck” on jimins ear, which is actually a relaxing/calming gesture for some, is a entirely new question on its own) he had always used verbal comfort/communication & tried to make people laugh 2018 prior, but he’s really adapted to Jimin and his emotions. Jimin allows himself to be comforted by Jungkook just as much as the other way round when Jimin really kept those emotions to himself, he feels safe with Jungkook. When Jungkook is upset he turns around and cry’s to Jimin and Jimin is there to wipe his tears away. When Jimin can’t sing, he turns to Jungkook for aid. Their love for stage is so intense, you can see their influences on each other.
They are hugely comfortable this year ago, you can just tell they’re incredibly comfortable with each other, that happiness radiates off them when they are together & they really enjoy that time together and it makes them happy. They make each other happy. Either in a platonic way, or a romantic way, it’s very clear they make each other very happy both emotionally & with quality time. And there’s no way you can dismiss that or say it’s not there. At the very LEAST they’re best friends who can tell each other everything.
There’s also a sense of “trying to play off” why they are together all the time. It’s amusing in a way, like you kinda just nod like “okay”…..Jimin will say he spends all his time with Jk riding together each morning while blushing/gushing then the next he’s teasing jk for spending all their time together, having to wait for him (when he doesn’t have to as each member can drive solo if they want to and have been seen to) or giving a “explanation” as to why they are together at the same time, so it doesn’t come across weird why they’re glued.
I think their time together this year really, I wouldn’t say impacted other group dynamics, but it was clear that they spend an insane amount of time together, simply from Tae mentioning that they were together during a live in a “of course” kind of sentiment while we see they are together in the morning, during rehearsals, in the car, going out, now at the hotels as well. It’s clear that the time together isn’t just obvious to us but also the members too. We all kind of just, nod and smile.
This year was the year of huge romantic gestures and romantic affirmations: Jimin travelling from Paris to Jungkook for his birthday, Jungkook climbing a mountain to get him snow, Jungkooks birthday tweet for Jimin.
As well as, a increase in the cheesy/awkward/romantic stuff that if it was a couple I knew IRL…. I probably wouldn’t stand them. Aka, the running on the treadmill together, playing Romeo & Juliet, “Jimin nothing stronger”, the pick up lines, the lets be sticky together moment…..like ew (in the they are painfully cute way).
Things that really stuck out to me: The day of rosebowl was “full” of moments like clinging to eachother during rehearsal, the proposal pose during the truth untold, Romeo & Juliet reference, the comfort head kiss, Leavening together after. The second thing, The vlive where Jimin was trying his hardest to apologise to Jungkook with chin touches, “I love you’s” and heavily over explaining why he ended the live but Jin got his apology accepted immediately while Jimin had to work for it. They are both his hyungs….but Jungkook had a different “expectation” from Jimin for some reason 🤔 Then also, Jimin gushing over how much time they spend together, like Jimin sweetie your crush is showing. Their dynamic is fully on the same-age level, there’s zero hierarchy between them anymore. You probably wouldn’t even be able to tell who’s the hyung and who’s the dongsaeng in this relationship, it’s evaporated, dissolved. Jimin even acts “cuter” towards Jungkook at times like he knows Jungkook likes it when he’s being cute, interesting thing to do as a “hyung”.
They really became a unit that year. Like a duo so *perfectly* fit for each other. This year was their “whipped” year, their “over the moon” era.
If 2019 was obvious, then in 2020 they became a lot more verbal about their relationship & dynamic. Somethings…..even one should keep to themselves even 😂 2019 was “we are in a settled relationship and we are travelling the world and doing what we love and we couldn’t be more happier with each other and showing our affection”. 2020 is more ~ domestic, more time at home, more time to be prouder & open of their relationship.~

I totally agree, 2019 they were disgustingly in love, it's so cute to see their relationship grow over the years. They really went off the charts in 2019 when it came to being in love lol there's no denying it. When you said " Jungkook had a different “expectation” from Jimin for some reason 🤔" I am so glad you pointed it out too, he was teasing and 'scolded' Jimin alone even though Jimin is his hyung, but accepted Jin's immediately. then i watched compilations on compilations on their videos and finally got to know about shipping.
i even began doubting them when i saw the heavily edited taekook edits, i felt like how could I see so wrong. being a baby army at that point it was boggling.
then later on i got to know that taekookers heavily edited their content to make it look like something was there when there wasn't anything to speculate about.
and i have always had a gut feeling about the. almost 4 years into the fandom and yes i wasn't wrong.

OMG!! This year is THE year of JiKook!! they were flaunting, confident & visibly happiest this year!! They looked extremely in tune / happy & as if they can understand eachother's silence aswell..They literally spent every possible sec with eachother..i don't know how to say this but the vibe from them is so natural, warm & seem like they fill eachother which in return fills me aswell..they feed on eachother's energies & seem like they kinda have extra rights on eachother which other band mates doesn't & it's visible enough...in short thier dynamic looked like the one which we have with a family member🤧 Their chemistry is so radiant & natural that i can't help but smile like an idiot..they are truly magical..

Above all of the obvious things that make them click, they really respect each other, and are always in tune to what the other is feeling and/or thinking! They definitely, have an unspoken language that is reserved just for them! Что-то очень быстро закончилась любофф Чимина и Чонгука. Как только закончился ФС, так и кончилась любовь между ними. Сейчас Чимин охаживает Юнги, потому, что с Юнги ему более выгодно находиться, Юнги пишет песни, чего не умеет Чимин. Ну а Чонгук вместе с Тэхёном и, видео, очень счастлив. Всё таки да, Трон (Тэхён) на табурет (Чимин) не меняют.

59:57 this is the part no one shows or mentions. JK is openly yelling "Jimin! I love you!.". Watch and see how RM immediately started damage control. Almost panicked. THIS is why Jimin started crying. He couldn't hold in the emotion anymore. JK confessed his love to Jimin outright in front of literally millions.
Everyone shows the aftermath with the whole ear thing. But its a lie without knowing what caused it. It makes it 100x more awesome. So I ask, why is this left out.
JK SCREAMED, yelled, and basically hung a banner out his love for Jimin in frnt of the world.. causing the ensuing emotional meltdown. But **somehow** the ear thing beats out one of the most beautiful moments in Jikooks whole timeline. You can't possibly get more raw and beautuful than that.
