Omg, you saved me! I hadn't found a useful tutorial about Chinese characters till I found yours. It has given me the path I have to follow in order to write Chinese characters, thank you!!
I'm learning Chinese myself and writing out the characters helps me learn them all the better- but I've been frustrated with how my handwriting has looked! This has helped so much in giving me a starting block to improve my handwriting, thank you!
Thank you so much! I watch many Chinese films and I have adjusted my hearing to their language and now, I want to start working on the writing as I will be able to put together the sound and the visual character! so much fun!!!!
I really liked how you broke it down. I am using duolingo and youtube to learn but was having a hard time writing down the characters for notes. I want to be able to read the Han zi the same way I read and write in English. I think learning the written language helps alot with learning because in order to learn you have to practice writing it down and reading it repeatedly to study(same way I learned English and Spanish). This video was so helpful. Thank you.

Excellent teaching, so clear and easy to follow. There's a lot of work to master these strokes but your teaching will surely help. Thank you very much!

Ive seen calligraphers write Chinese, Korean, & Japanese in their "cursive" writing and wowwwwwww I looove it. I am doing my own cursive style from the words and kanji that I know. It looks awesome.
That's a really good question 👍 by HSK 4, you'll learn 1064 characters which enable you to read simple novels and write letters. It depends on how much time and effort you'd like to put in everyday, it takes 1.5-2 years typically.

Hi how are you. I'm looking all over UA-cam of how to write out Chinese characters with the samsung keyboard. Its the numbers 1 - 9 and 0 on the bottom like the pinpad. So far i was able to figure a few simple ones like 人 and 月 person and month. 1 is left to right, 2 is top to bottom, etc. But i cant figure them all out, like the symbol for mountain (3 vertical lines, 1 horizontal on the bottom) do you know what numbers i would use for the correct strokes?
Thanks I've been trying for years to relearn how to write characters but I can't get past not teaching us the right way to draw each one.
