In 8 hours we 1 hour launch and 1-2 hour rest so its 8-9 hours od work in between . I think 10 hours is fine, in 2 hours breaks with launch could be great .
@@satyamARAS No where you get a 2 hour break, it is only half hour to 1 hour, be it bank, hospital, schools or any government/private organisations, my dad was member of audit committee when UPA was in centre and everywhere they tried to bribe him to make false reports. Sad thing is no action were taken after spending crores in auditing, the chief officers were bribed at the end in majority of cases and file will be closed.

One of my uncle was project manager and one uncle was ground supervisor in a road construction project in North east , They had to be on site by 6am and can only leave after 6pm, straight up 12 hours and salary was 10k less than initially promised, they left the site after working for 1.5 months. The company was exploiting workers in so many ways, overtime, less payment, late payment, poor facilities, no safety measures for workers, no life insurance, but cuz they were working in very remote area far from human settlements, there weren't many things they could do, so they simply left it and joined another project in Indore.

Sir ,in hsptl there is a department called gda department (helping staf) they work 12 hrs . A day and without any off they continuously do their work ..in some hsptl they don't get any off on weekends ,if they were take off thn their salary will deduct .....in Indian hsptl but hsptls ,like Fortis ,Max ,etc.( Outsider company) have good facilities for that department........

In India, almost every sector is over exploited, cuz we have less resources.
Like we have much less number of Doctor, judges, Civil servants, than we actually need. So, other's have to overtime to fulfill the gap, it's so frustrating.

In L&T construction employees and labour works for more than 12 hrs a day without any additional pay of over time.Company has normalised the 12 hrs shift .Lower level staff are suffering most abd being exploited by managers .A 2 lac per month salary holder is working for same number of hours as a supervisor having 20 thousand salay.Company has very toxic work culture at their sites, Sundays are not holiday.Even on national holidays manager ask to come to site . Job in LTC is no less than slavery

If industrialists want their machines to run for more time just introduce 3 shifts and hire more workers instead these big shots are pushing the government for such amendments, they want to milk every bit of blood from workers. Past generations fought so hard to get 8 hours of work time down from 12 hours, i think we all should stand together against such arbitrary action that will only help big industrialists and hurt the common workers.

Lets take a scenario of an employee who got the opportunity to work 4days(Mon-Thu) a week(12hour daily). What changes we could expect in his life-
1. 12hr work (8am-8pm)+ 2hr round trip(approx.)(common in metro city)+ 7hr sleep + 3hr personal task.
2. He will have extra 2 complete day (Fri-Sat) together with Sun as holiday.
3. He could have utilized the free day in personal work like attend family or social function, do government office work.
4. He could have also saved some money in transportation to office.( 2days*Rs50= Rs100 -> Rs400).
5. And many more benefits are there....
Let's do 48 hours work in a row for 2 continuous days, and then have a 5 day break.

Yes true, I faced the same situation, employer asked for increase of half hr and it was optional in the beginning. it took him just a week to make it a new law and we didn't received any pay for that increase time.
We as labour/working professionals don't know our rights that is the big issue and there are no consequences if someone try to exploit our rights
12 hours kaam karne ke baad bhi, promotion nahi milta....leaves ya working hours ka manipulation hota hai....

Weak labour law In country is one of the big obstacle to development in India. When we talk about structural reform the labour law come at priority list to implement for better condition for economy and workers. Now the new labour law of Tamilnadu govt. the intent of labour code is not exploiting in my point of view, but the implementation of the code is a tedious thing.

Private sector to waise hi pura konsa labour law apply krta hai. Wo to bol dete hai kaam kro nhi to jao aap. Isme to exploitation hoga hi hoga. Waise bhi desh m kitne formal job hai. Sara ka sara unorganised sector hai. Guarantee kya hai ki isme labour ko social security benefits ki.
