That was shot at Shelly Beach just near The Entrance and the crew got Vaughn (who was on christmas holiday with his family) to do that and other ads just for the hell of it. Vaughn became famous in Glenbrook and as far west as Faulconbridge.....
This Ad created a great controversy in Australia when first aired. Not because of the cleaveage nor crack, but the brand name. Believe it or not, The Roman Catholics (RC) were outraged. Also it was not really risque as Australian TV in that era feature full frontal nudity.
Believe it or not Australian tv was quite liberal in the 70's. I guess the correct term would be things today are more "political correct" in relation to how things were 30 odd years earlier.
