Una de las mejores interpretaciones de Carmen, este programa pasó a la historia junto con el programa libre de Katarina Witt. Me parece que el arte de esta danza fue muy menospreciado en su momento, al día de hoy un programa con esta calidad merece más de 130 puntos.
La coppia eccellente in assoluto a livello mondiale della danza sul ghiaccio da ormai quasi dieci anni! La loro "Carmen" passionale e magnificamente espressiva e' stata di una straordinaria perfezione artistica e di un incredibile nesso anima/corpo! Impareggiabile! Tessa e Scott siete meritatamente ... D'ORO.... Fino ad oggi!!!
la penso esattamente come te .. Hanno danzato sempre magnifici programmi, sia SD che FD, ma questa carmen è qualcosa dell'altro mondo... Penso la loro migliore in assoluto. Pensare che non abbia valso loro l'oro ai mondiali e/o nella finale di GP è un crimine contro lo sport... Ma sappiamo bene perchè questo è successo.... I pasticci "politici" tra federazioni USA-Russia -Francia nel quadriennio 2011-2014 gli sono costati parecchi ori....

Tatiana Tarasova che si alza e applaude (e non è stata la sola volta...) è la prova provata di quello che diciamo. Non un commentatore qualunque, Tatiana Tarasova ripeto. E i commentatori RAI non si possono sentire (vai a vederti invece il commento di BBC e British Eurosport). Zero immaginazione, zero senso dell'innovazione, gusti banalissimi e stereotipi impressionanti....... Per loro Carmen è solo folklore, nacchere, zingarelle, taverne, toreri, collane e fiori all'orecchio. Non una storia intensa e cruda che spogliata dal contesto in cui fu calata da Bizet è tranquillamente replicabile in qualsiasi contesto ed epoca...Questo voleva dire questo programma come il nero e la sobrietà dei costumi faceva bene intendere. Agli intelligenti. Quali non sono i commentatori RAI.
Concordo e ho visto tutte le loro rappresentazioni con tutti i possibili commentatori, russi e cinesi inclusi! ...... Thank you... of course that would make Tarasova a traitor too for having trained Sasha Cohen (USA), Shizuku Arakawa (Japan) and Mao Asada (Japan)... also Alexander Zhulin for having trained Pechlat/Bourzat (France) also Angelika Krylova (P/B and Weaver/Poje - Canada) and Evgeny Platov for training Kerr/Kerr and Coombes/Buckland (GB). Yes Russians have contributed SO much to figure skating for sure - and wow, yes, amazing... but they are not "traitors"!!

Spectacular. Here , we can witnessed a complete and excellent theatrical representation of a song from the Opera play "Carmen", in the form of an ice dance by the spectacular ice dancers, Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue. Scoot and Tessa were completely innovative in this way of representing a story in their ice dance performances. I've never seen any other ice dancing couple do that. Scott e Tessa were simply two spectacular ice dancers.
Am I the only one who thought that they "fought with the blade" and therefore slightly struggled with this dance? (Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of theirs).
It's bright in the beginning and bright at the end. Great establishment of the characters and I like that Carmen wins this one. But the side kick in the side-by-side dancing portion near the end is... a bit funny. It loses me between some of the lifts. And I am still not liking the black fishnets. I know that some find this a masterpiece but for me it's not quite that.
Exactly! Or all the skaters going to Canada to have their choreography done by Lori Nichol, David Wilson, Shae-Lynn Bourne or, Javier et al having Brian Orser as a coach. Globalization is a fact in the skating world and I love what Russia, as well as other countries, have contributed.

WHAT? You think Zueva and Shipilband are traitors for training North American teams? What century/decade are you living in? Sure, they were born in Russia but they are American citizens. How does that make them traitors? Go take your outdated views elsewhere.
LOL! I say "off with their heads" or better still, send them to the Siberian salt mines! Coaches move away Russia for better opportunities. V/M were brilliant long before they moved to Russian/Canadian/American coaches ...watch them winning the junior worlds with their Canadian coach.
LOL mimi6267, no nothing has changed in the past few years! V/M are still reigning OG medalists, 2 time world champs & would have been 3 x world champs if they hadn't been out injured most of the 11/12 season. Perhaps you should contact the judges & tell them they are all wrong & you are right.
well D/W's step sequences and SS are usually marked higher than V/M's so what exactly are they over scored for? everything else which you have said they are great at? nothing has changed during the past few years.
