Rest in Peace! ✝️❤️🙏…….The entire Ensemble of The Spinners is to be celebrated for many generations! I absolutely loved them and so do millions of their fans. ❤
The Spinners & The O'Jays: MY 2 FAVORITE SOUL GROUPS OF ALL TIME!!! I was stationed at the Panama Canal Zone with the Air Force, when I heard Soul Music for the time, and it's been my favorite Pop Music ever since...I'm now 74...
I agree with your two favorites and I'd add the Four Tops after them. Love that 70's soul music! 🙂
White British 66 years old this was the was the music I was brought up with fantastic
My parents met in the Canal Zone (US Army). Daddy loved many genres, and he bought a lot of music when I was little, but The Spinners and The O'Jays are two of my favorites. I never tire of listening to them!
50 years later who's still listening this song for a day
So good it makes me cry … we were so lucky to have these sounds ♥️
They're all gone
Oh my God, just those first few notes and I've got goosebumps. This is REAL MUSIC.
One of their best.....beautiful piece of music. What a great year 1973 was!
Eu amo essa música! Eu amo The Spinners!
🎶🎶💕💕
YESSSS!! Feel like crying I miss those days, those great bands!!!
Me too it's such a great song from a great era in Music 🎵🎶
Simple but one of thee most AMAZINGLY beautiful opening notes.
This music is part of the reason growing up in the 70’s was absolutely wonderful. Music had lyrics that made you melt, set your heart racing and we could sing along.
The 70’s….when music was real!❤️
For me it was the only reason growing up in the 70's was wonderful.
Absolutely !!! The best generatio💕
I agree 💯 The 60s & 70s were the best eras for music now matter what genre you'd choose...
@@pattismiles56 Was it ever! Best times of my life.
Yesssss...music was respectful & had substance. 🎶
Timeless...a gorgeous gorgeous piece of music. They simply don't make them like this beauty anymore. I melt every time I hear it...
I grew up to this beautiful music that transcends race, religion, and politics. And if you have any joyful soul in your heart, it will touch you undoubtedly! Pure, soulful, harmonious love in a time long passed.
I saw the Spinners with my oldest daughter and her friend about 16 yrs ago at a music festival. Her friend said "Oh they're so sparkly and they dance so great!" They still sounded as good as ever too!
Thom Bell was sensational. A true musical genius.
RIP Thom Bell. A genius.
These songs have brightened my childhood immensely in the 1970's.What a time it was eh? They've made me such a happy boy! Could it be I'm falling in love with these songs? That's funny!
The good old Motown music. Can't be replaced!!!!
What a classic, fantastic group , 70s was the best music
"You can be sure, I will never let you down
When you need me, I'll be around."
Musical and lyrical perfection. This song was a smash hit, freshman year of high school. Maybe it was the times and a new chapter turning, but there was always something very special with this song that still stays in my heart to this day.
Classic. Could listen to it all day
Same dear
My favorite song by The Spinners of all. I LOVE THIS SONG!! It's so smooth and the melody. The silky smooth vocals. The best.
My wife and I fell in love to this song in high school in 73 we’ve been married since 74
This song is by far one of the best songs ever made ,, Thank you :))
In this genre of music, your take ain’t even close, my brother. No disrespect. Though it is a descent song nonetheless.
Absolutely one of my top five
I hate to admit I hadn't heard this in over ten years. But I knew almost every word. Undeniably a timeless masterpiece.
I agree absolutely! I have used thos exact words about songs of that era.
I have used that term exactly how many times a timeless masterpiece?
First time hearing this song. This is beautiful
70s was best in my lifetime. Music was the Best. And we had lived a time of love. Now it's just sad. We had it for awhile. Miss you Sweet 70s. Hang on Snowbunnies to all the Beautiful romantic times.
Those are my adolescent and teen years, the best music
Please let's not ever forget this era of music. I was only in grade school, but so many memories attached the song.
Turbo Lives In my heart I was in grade school, too, but I loved The Spinners! I used to dance to their songs and dream about growing so I could live what they were singing about!
This is a big big chune indeed. Can't get tired of it no matter how many times I hear it.
Great song and FANTASTIC sound quality!! Thank you for this upload!! 😀😀😀
You know I haven't taken an album out of the Cardboard jacket forever and put it on a turntable was neat to see ! 😇😇😇
AM radio in the 1970s. "Popular music" meant almost ANYTHING. The top-40 at any time could include songs that were hard rock, country rock, folk, pop, R&B, soul, Motown, and even country, rubbing shoulders together. I have always loved the joy, the hope, the yearning, and the determination that this song inspired. The Spinners produced a masterpiece. For a lifetime of inspiration, God bless you all.
Oh wow! Just amazing. I had goosebumps on the back of my neck at the first sound. Thank you so much.
Love, peace and respect to all.
Im only 28 but my mom is how i grew up with those like The Spinners and i love having grown up with such great music like them and many more ♡
Those opening music chords for the first 25 seconds are some of the best in music. Just make you think there's hope and love and promise in the world. Would've been great to be in love with someone in the 1970s and this comes on the radio. I was 10 when this came out. Loved it then and I love it now.
Oh my goodness, this song brought back so many good memories 😍
sounds perfect! 😎
❤ GREAT SONG, WE NEED MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS TODAY 😊
Still gets right to my core Every Time... Love It! 😥❤️
Records sound much better than all other formats for sure. It’s a good thing.
Records do have a wonderful character, but I think the turntable visual is just for fun.
I agree 100%. Memories of an old girlfriend back in 1973, I was so in love. Love to be 18 years old again. No COVID19 virus and Mom and Dad were still living.
its pointless putting these types of videos up because its an anolgue sound source converted to a digital sound source on you tube so the analogue sound is lost in encoding a
@@mpmattson That is correct.
Yes, vinyl sounds great.
This music brings back such wonderful feeling even in the mist of very hard times! Thanks for posting this!
I feel the same, RC. Life wasn't so complicated back then.
Yes in deed sweet child hood memories
We could listen to grown folks music in those days. Parents and kids played the same songs . All good
GOOD POINT! YESSSS
Brought me into teenage hood and beyond so many memories. Thank you Spinners.
The Spinners ~Back when music meant something and shared heart and soul.
This song always gives me goosebumps especially the ending.
One of the greatest songs they ever made with the late and great Bobby Smith the great singer of The Spinners what a great record.
beautifull music never gets older just better
A great song from a great album.
That song still gets me in my soul
Paulina Angel PMI Records good 1
ya, im digging it. Stay kool baby
When Philippe gently says "that's right," you know it is.
Now, that's what I consider real back in the day music...yes Olde school
If more people listened to this we wouldn’t have such hostility in the USA.
preach brother amen
Cha Cha Music! By one of the greatest groups in history!
This is my absolute favorite Spinners song. I was in fifth grade when it was on the charts.
Could it be I`m falling in love with the Spinners? Too late I fell in love with them fifty years ago. Fantastic music with Motown and after.
Motown treated them like servants and chauffeurs. They went to Philly where they had their massive hits and became famous. Produced by Thom Bell who co-wrote most of their hits with Linda Creed. The music is by MFSB of course.
My childhood is alive and well! Love this song
LOVE this song still listening to it right now on my patio!❤🎬🎥📷🎤🎸🎻🎹📀📻📼
Do you remember hearing this right after you knew you met the “right one”. I do, I hope you do too!
I swear even as a Dreaded 30 something...this is truly the best song ever recorded. Thanks to my parents and grandparents playing this my whole childhood many years after this song was recorded.
Back in the Day ..it was women ..who put me on to good ..music ..made me leave hip hop alone to study the classics .. Thanks🎧💝🎧
Smart woman
Oh yesssss.. play that ~ish baby. Love it!!
Still an amazing song with lines that really affect your emotion state...!
It's mesmerizing watching her take that album out of the sleeve and putting that needle on that record! Took me back to my childhood. I got into my Dad's, then my Cousin's then my Aunt's records and LPs over the years and music and song have STAYED with me. They're the 2nd layer, just beneath my skin. 🎶🎵🎤🎵🎶🎵💜💜💜💜
My grandfather had me listening to all this type music. I love it still to this day. RIP Daddy.
Your grandfather new what he was doing. God bless you and may god bless your grandfather may he rest in peace
@@davidrincon9519 Thank you, you too!
Fantastic music !!!
I've heard this song a million times and although i love everything about this amazing tune but what really gets me every single time are the sweethearts. My goodness, they melt my heart everytime. If anybody's reading this doesn't know about the greatest female background vocal group you really should check them out. They are as much a part of philly soul as Thom Bell, Gamble & Huff and this great band you are hearing here, MFSB... This song was a 10/10 and it really showcased Thom's penchant for being one of the greatest melody makers in music history.
Listening to this really brings me joy..
Me too. 1973, I was 18 years old and so in love with my cute girlfriend. Love to return to 1973, no COVID19 and Mom and Dad were still living. Stay safe. Greetings from Charleston, West Virginia USA
“Make me such a happy boy...”
sarap nio
Damn..that's a song that will live forever. If a museum of music had a tapestry displayed prominently at it's entrance. It's name would be "Could it be I'm falling in love". Songs can't be perfect. But this one is awfully close.
An amazing song.TRULY
This sounded sweet and clear on my Altec Lansing's, bringing back wistful memories of my salad days.
Una de las tantas obras de arte musical de los 70's . Esta canción le alegra el día a cualquiera .
Yesssssssssss! My favorite song. I love so much.
Now this is my favorite song of all time from the Spinner I love to hear it yes 🥰😍😘😻
REAL MUSIC!!! NOTHING MORE TO SAY (SMILE)
RIP Henry Fambrough Rest In Peace 🙏
Omg so clear thanks for doing this
Saw them perform at Magic Mountain in Valencia California and the night before our family went to the movies to see Claudine. One of the happiest times I can remember..
I've got to be one of the world's biggest Spinners fans. Actually stood out in front of Bert's, singing this with a couple of former MoTown choreographers, a couple of years ago. Know all the words to every Spinners cut ... never miss a beat or lyric. I miss those guys, they'll never be another group like them. They were One of a Kind ...
Had it on vinyl, wow, great to hear again over 40 years later, thanks!
Now that is what I called a CD.🤗🤗🤗
One of my favorite songs!!!
Greatly underrated - fabulous and consistent group.
That's what I'm talking about!
woodrackes Yeah, baby!
Hey yall, that was the day and it is still the day now, good music, rythm never dies it just continues in our spirit. That's what I'm talking about.....Aammeeeeen!!!!!
Love this type of music .
Thank you kind sir
Man oh man, the Spinners, brought so many classics soul and disco hits including Mighty Love.
Spinners one of best smooth beats and dance steps
JUST THE SIGHT OF VINYL DOES IT FOR ME
Immediately regretted it when I gave away my records!
Thanks for sharing
Such a great song!
This song is such a classic ❤️
They kicked it off with the Spinners...Yea um ya,got my attention🤷🤣🤣
Love this song! Real Music!!!!
A shout out to orchestral arranger Thom Bell. Thom's signature orchestra on many R&B records in the 1970's became as much the hearbeat of the song as the singers themselves. O'Jays, Stylistics, Spinners, just to name a few of Thom Bell's touch.
Bless him mate and you to 🙂🙏❤️😘
Elton John's Thom Bell sessions were great! Mama Can't Buy You Love...fabulous!
"I walk around with my heart in my hands"
Now that is really nice
THANK YOU!
It brings back so many beautiful memories of my childhood in the 70’s
Holy DeJaVu! I had this album! PLAYED IT TO DEATH! Then had the cassette, played it so much it broke! This ol' hippy's still groovin to the sounds of 'The Spinners' here in 2021........Anyone with me? Everyone, please STAY SAFE!!! PEACE & LOVE!
You just made me cry with memories ..... GOOD SIGHHHH. ; -)
Grooving in 2024💃🏽🕺🏾💃🏽🕺🏾💃🏽🕺🏾
Saw these guys at the Appolo Theater, Harlem NYC as a guest of the Shiffman family ( the owners of the venue). They were just fabulous live. Double bill with the Temptations.
Vinyl over digital all day.
Uauuu...Que musica linda!!!!
The best music 💕
Synchronicity 😮IWasJustThinkinfOfThisSong!
OMG The intro just gives me goose bumps
Early mornings, before school, our East Hills apt buzzing with the sounds of WAMOs Brother Mack...ahhh, and the fine Estée Lauder Elixir my mom wore everyday to work... this is how this song affects me.
