Yeah they do this sort of thing a lot but this was perhaps one of the most blatant. They seem to follow only a single factory/location. They obviously buy the coils premade from some OEM vendor... would have been nice to see that and then follow the process here, but that's now HiM works. In other videos they go into ridiculous detail of how one part is made, then later in the video they're like "Now they take the pre-made leg assembly (which until now hasn't been mentioned)..."
These things are so very useful. Half-size one by the hall stand (so we can leave messages by the front door where they'll be seen), and a full size one upstairs where I do my preparative work. Far easier to use than the old chalk boards.
In my school, we never had the plastic parts at the ends of the marker trays. Instead, the trays had curves cut into them at each end, rounding off the corners.
Mr3344555 - I made a stupid, silly joke as a reaction to something I didn‘t enjoy about this video. Maybe you should learn to have a laugh once a while. If you can‘t deal with people having an other kind of humor than you do, you shouldn‘t be on the internet either.
They say "worker" and "employee" a lot in this show too. It's a French Canadian show, the narration is pretty dry, probably cause a lot is lost in translation.
'Specialty cloth'... One of my teachers used a sock... Also: 'the workers are careful to not touch the pressure sensitive surface' *worker immediately slapping her end of the board.*

Using your hands can eat away the coating amd make it stain permanently. That's why often certain areas of the boards are harder to erase or stay slightly stained. The hand wiping slowly and sometimes quickly kills the whiteboard. I also causes the marker ink to "miss" spots.
One of my teaches spent 8 years petitioning for a new white board with the last three years having an atrocious mess that you actually couldn't write on in spots because the ink wouldn't stay on and you'd be missing parts of whatever you wrote or drew. We successfully got a new whiteboard and she lectured us about using the dang eraser because we literally couldn't affird to replace it. I have to say it was amazing how smooth the new whiteboard was. Drawing on it was amazing and I used kleenex to erase just to be sure. I really didn't expect an uncontaminated board to be very different. She was actually a nice teacher and she did let us all make ridiculous giant complicated artwork on the new board as well as calligraphy. We got to take photos with our phones before erasing.
This if can add another like a hard plastic acrylic on top? If as set like doing sales on table then a writing to protect the marker? Border neodymium or clipper lock? The small one looks nice anyway. On small chalkboard too to have the same?
And then someone happily uses a permanent marker to draw a giant Santa one Christmas for an office Christmas party. That Santa stayed with us for years to come, despite being doused in many a liquid in an attempt to wipe it off...

How are the materials to make dryboard make and how are the materials made to make boards and how are the materials to make materials to make boards made?and how are the materials to make materials even made?
I just have to comment. So everyone has to be so careful not to touch the porcelain steel sheet because it's pressure sensitive. Now lets go back to the beginning. It first comes in a tight roll that goes through a rolling press to straighten it before shearing it into sections. Then it goes through another rolling press to get all the air pockets out after being glued to the backer board. Then, in a stack of 50, goes into another press until the glue sets. All of this and apparently it's so sensitive that finger pressure will ruin it? Thank you for letting me get that off my chest.
Fun Fact: The release agent in Dry Erase ink does not last forever. I learned this when the message board we have got full and I tried to erase some messages that had been on it for over a month.

> How whiteboards are made.
> Skips the porcelain steel sheet, probably the most important part of the whiteboard.
haha yeah. i dont understand tho how that allows the marker to stay on and erase easily

@@Noneblue39 all the "tech" is in the marker. The boards just have to be non-porous. The ones at my company are all glass.
@@timfischer thanks for the explanations you stated.
I bet that part is a trade secret they'll never talk about. I've made my own by framing a cheap piece of glass with a white paper behind it.

Me too. That's what I was most interested in seeing. But it's still not too bad of a video.
