The legend of Azi Dahak Trace back to 1000 BC, Book the book of Genesis was written around 1500 BC, all biblical scholars agree on that, therefore the story of Genesis is much older. Also the meaning of the name "Azi Dahak" is uncertain, the meaning of name "Satan" means accuser. Azi Dahak, it is said to have three mouths, Six Eyes and Three heads. But nowhere in the Bible it says that Satan has six eyes three mouths and 3 heads, in the Book of Revelation it says that Satan has seven heads, but thats a symbolic meaning. Lastly, Azi Dahak, is the son of Angra Mainyu, Ahuras Mazdas's foe. But Satan he's actually an angel, also son of God. In conclusion, we can clearly see that the Bible is not based from Zoroastrianism.

Thanks for this video. Noted a mistake (I'm Muslim). The Qur'an does not say that Ismael was the favored son, neither does it say that Isaac was favored. Also, in certain early interpretations of the Qur'an, it was Isaac who was almost sacrificed (although today's mainstream interpretation is that it was Ismael). Also noting that the "stoning of the devil" is the only Hajj ritual that is not mentioned in the Qur'an.
Someone tempered with the story to use it as a political excuse for hating others. Story is probubly unchanged in returgical arabic, but not everyone knows it, especially non-Arab muslims.

@M A Ishmael was Abraham's "first born" son from his "Wife" Hagar. The term wife is used to describe her in the bible. God tells him to sacrifice his first born son, which at the time was Ishmael. I had to read it myself to confirm. Hope you are well :)

There was never unanimous agreement among scholars that Ishmael (as) was the son to be sacrificed. By far, the majority opinion is that it was Ishmael (as), but the Qur'an does not actually specify. The episode, however is placed among verses about him. The very earliest opinions, those of the Prophet's (saws) companions, were more evenly divided on the matter. I have always considered it a needless point of division. If God wanted muslims to know, if it mattered, He would have specified it. None of us were present. Allah knows, and we do not. I do not expect you to know that little fun fact, since your area of expertise seems to be early Christianity. I enjoy your channel and appreciate this installment at this very important occasion for muslims.
Some of it are not correct, if you're not Islam please do not make video about Islam, there's "sah = pass" and "compulsory = wajib" like the stoning is compulsory meaning if you don't do it, it does not voided your hajj, only you need to pay "dam" if you don't do "sah" your hajj is voided, please correct it again or took down this video altogether and in Islam we do not favours any Ishmael or Isaac, all 25 of prophet have the same respectable honourable belief in Muslim, lot of it are wrong

Hi! Can you explain to me how Islam claims that Ishmael is the preferred son? There is no evidence or statement textually to suggest that. Both Ishmael and Isaac are considered prophets to their people. Ishmael was the first born and married into Arabs whereby his children were Arab naturalized. The only prophet from the lineage of Ishmael is Muhammad. Isaac on the other hand according to the Quran and bible has in his lineage Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Zakariya and John the Baptist. The question in Islam has never been about preferred son. The Islamic belief is that Ishmael was the sacrificial lamb as he was the eldest son, but this doesn’t suggest that he is preferred. Just wanted to point that out.
sonofagun00 It’s Not that Ishmael was a preferred per se, Ishmael was first born son, so the event of sacrificed naturally happens to him. First born son are Always the dearest, that’s just natural to make it difficult for Abraham to do the sacrifice. Second, in Genesis 21:18 the story clearly shows that when Hagar was searching for water for Ishmael in the desert and angel told her he will have a great nation. This is a prophesy that something good will happen. Eventually, Ishmael sons followed Abraham’s teaching and centuries passed till one man ruled Macca and brought the pagans to worship them thus breaking the teachings of Abraham. Also, In Isaiah 21: 13-17 Claims that “the burden on Arabs” So what is that burden? It’s clearly means a prophecy that Arabs will carry a religion task align with trenching of prophets in Israel. That’s the reason there was Jews in Madina (a city north of Macca). It is mentioned in Isaiah 42:11 clearly shows that people of Sala should sing of joy... and Sala is a mountain in Madina. Jews were waiting for a prophet to appear in Madina AND who is descendant of Ishmael. But reality is A portion of Jews rejected Prophet Muhammad just as their ancestors rejected Jesus as the messiah, keep in mind that both of them seen their miracles and rejected their prophesies

According to Saudi News Thousands of goat, cows and camels sacrificed during the Hajj rituals were distributed to 30 million poor and displaced people in 27 countries in Asia and Africa. And 500 tons of unfit qurbani meat waste is then processed by a professional company to be used as fertilizer for plants.

My own experience of Hajj: while other governments delve into politics, those performing Hajj, and all those involved, display a beautiful spirit of caring and support for each other. It was truly an amazing experience.

There are about 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. At 2 million Hajj tickets per year, it would take 1000 years for everyone to have a single visit. If you manage to make the Hajj, you are among the privileged few.
Yes he does, his name is Prophet Ishaq (Peace Be Upon Him), the son of Prophet Abraham, I don’t why the Admin of the channel said Prophet Ismail/Ishmael was the favourite, Prophet Abraham loved both his children, the Muslim belief is that Prophet Abraham/Ibrahim was unable to have children with his first wife Sarah, so he married Hagar/Hajara, from whom Prophet Ismail was born, he kept this family in Makkah. After about 10/15 years when Sarah PBUH was about 80 or 90 years old, 3 Angels, Jibraeel(Gabriel), Mikaeel(Michael), and Israfil came to the couple and gave glad tidings of a Son who’s name would be ISHAQ/ISAAC, who shall be of the Righteous and a Prophet of Allah. Allah also calls Ishaq/Isaac by the name Israel at times. Allah blessed these two sons of Abraham with Prophethood, and even gave some of their descendants Prophethood. From Isaac/Ishaq, Prophet Yaaqub/Jacob, was born who lived to see Abraham & Sarah. From Yaquub/Jacob, Prophet Yusuf/Joseph was born, and hence from the bloodline of Prophet Ishaq came many Prophets like Dawood(David), Sulayman(Solomon), and then the last one being Prophet Isaa/Jesus, (who muslims believe is Alive under Allahs Protection in Heaven and will return when Allah wills.) From the Son Ismaeel/Ishamel, there is only one Prophet who came, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Last of Allahs Prophets. Isaac and Ishmael are both loved and thoroughly respected by Muslims as are their Mothers Sarah and Hajar. Hope it answers the question. 💓

Basically Alevi and Bektashi people rejects to pilgrimage, maybe they are one of the few exceptions in Muslim community and they are in numbers of millions (mostly in Turkey and Albania). Whatever you are looking for is in within you, not in Kudus (Jarusalem) or Makka."

My family are mostly Anglican and African, but I can remember often comment on how it's sad that all of this fighting is between cousins (hinting at the fact that Isaac and Ishmael were the founders of both religions, expressing bemusement that a family could have so much internal strife because family is everything, whilst simultaneously taking a dig at other cultures and saying "See! You can’t love both because they opposites. Have you read both these books lol ? They couldn’t be more different. I’ll give you one example: Look at the life of Mohamed, then look at the life of Jesus Christ. Two different messages, two different books.
Ishmael AS is not the favourite son, he is the first son. For first son used to be the prime lineage, also Abraham was very old when Ishmael born. So it was a big deal. And Prophet Muhammad is believed from lineage of Ismael AS. However Isaac AS stayed with Abraham AS. Jacob AS is from Isaac's lineage.

Issa is Jesus...not Isaac. Issa is a actually Arabized form of Jesus...hence you will find many Arab Christians with the name Issa Isaac is called Izhak...similar to Hebrew name Yitzhak.
Many Syrians live in Saudi and can do both Hajj and Omrah, and Iranians can get a Hajj and Omrah visas. The so called “Stampede” was caused by a group of men intentionally “Reverse functioning” the route to the rituals. Due to the COVID-19 situation visiting Mecca is regulated even for Saudis, appointments are taken through an app to further control the safety capacity of the holy mosque.

pretty great for a short video. 2 minor niggles though - (1) Ishmael isn't directly mentioned to be a favourite, but since Abraham does sacrifice him due to him being his firstborn, the implication is nevertheless there, (2) Eid al Adha is *the* most important day in the Islamic calendar, not just one of them

Few things to note: 1. Not every muslim is mandate to perform Hajj. Few condition must be met before you can do Hajj. i. You must be adult ii. you must be a sane person. iii. you must have enough fund to do the whole thing and living cost of your family. iv. Must be physically fit.

Also the meaning of the name "Azi Dahak" is uncertain, the meaning of name "Satan" means accuser.
Azi Dahak, it is said to have three mouths, Six Eyes and Three heads. But nowhere in the Bible it says that Satan has six eyes three mouths and 3 heads, in the Book of Revelation it says that Satan has seven heads, but thats a symbolic meaning.
Lastly, Azi Dahak, is the son of Angra Mainyu, Ahuras Mazdas's foe. But Satan he's actually an angel, also son of God.

Thanks for this video. Noted a mistake (I'm Muslim). The Qur'an does not say that Ismael was the favored son, neither does it say that Isaac was favored. Also, in certain early interpretations of the Qur'an, it was Isaac who was almost sacrificed (although today's mainstream interpretation is that it was Ismael).
Also noting that the "stoning of the devil" is the only Hajj ritual that is not mentioned in the Qur'an.

@M A Ishmael was Abraham's "first born" son from his "Wife" Hagar. The term wife is used to describe her in the bible. God tells him to sacrifice his first born son, which at the time was Ishmael. I had to read it myself to confirm. Hope you are well :)

There was never unanimous agreement among scholars that Ishmael (as) was the son to be sacrificed. By far, the majority opinion is that it was Ishmael (as), but the Qur'an does not actually specify. The episode, however is placed among verses about him. The very earliest opinions, those of the Prophet's (saws) companions, were more evenly divided on the matter. I have always considered it a needless point of division. If God wanted muslims to know, if it mattered, He would have specified it. None of us were present. Allah knows, and we do not. I do not expect you to know that little fun fact, since your area of expertise seems to be early Christianity. I enjoy your channel and appreciate this installment at this very important occasion for muslims.

Can you explain to me how Islam claims that Ishmael is the preferred son? There is no evidence or statement textually to suggest that. Both Ishmael and Isaac are considered prophets to their people. Ishmael was the first born and married into Arabs whereby his children were Arab naturalized. The only prophet from the lineage of Ishmael is Muhammad.
Isaac on the other hand according to the Quran and bible has in his lineage Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Zakariya and John the Baptist.
The question in Islam has never been about preferred son. The Islamic belief is that Ishmael was the sacrificial lamb as he was the eldest son, but this doesn’t suggest that he is preferred.

It’s Not that Ishmael was a preferred per se, Ishmael was first born son, so the event of sacrificed naturally happens to him.
First born son are Always the dearest, that’s just natural to make it difficult for Abraham to do the sacrifice.
Second, in Genesis 21:18 the story clearly shows that when Hagar was searching for water for Ishmael in the desert and angel told her he will have a great nation. This is a prophesy that something good will happen. Eventually, Ishmael sons followed Abraham’s teaching and centuries passed till one man ruled Macca and brought the pagans to worship them thus breaking the teachings of Abraham.

So what is that burden?
It’s clearly means a prophecy that Arabs will carry a religion task align with trenching of prophets in Israel.
That’s the reason there was Jews in Madina (a city north of Macca). It is mentioned in Isaiah 42:11 clearly shows that people of Sala should sing of joy... and Sala is a mountain in Madina. Jews were waiting for a prophet to appear in Madina AND who is descendant of Ishmael.

A: Because Mohammed himself did (an earlier version of) it. The hajj predates Mohammed and therefore holds primacy over any commemoration of his life.

There are about 1.8 billion Muslims in the world. At 2 million Hajj tickets per year, it would take 1000 years for everyone to have a single visit. If you manage to make the Hajj, you are among the privileged few.

Yes he does, his name is Prophet Ishaq (Peace Be Upon Him), the son of Prophet Abraham, I don’t why the Admin of the channel said Prophet Ismail/Ishmael was the favourite, Prophet Abraham loved both his children, the Muslim belief is that Prophet Abraham/Ibrahim was unable to have children with his first wife Sarah, so he married Hagar/Hajara, from whom Prophet Ismail was born, he kept this family in Makkah. After about 10/15 years when Sarah PBUH was about 80 or 90 years old, 3 Angels, Jibraeel(Gabriel), Mikaeel(Michael), and Israfil came to the couple and gave glad tidings of a Son who’s name would be ISHAQ/ISAAC, who shall be of the Righteous and a Prophet of Allah. Allah also calls Ishaq/Isaac by the name Israel at times. Allah blessed these two sons of Abraham with Prophethood, and even gave some of their descendants Prophethood. From Isaac/Ishaq, Prophet Yaaqub/Jacob, was born who lived to see Abraham & Sarah. From Yaquub/Jacob, Prophet Yusuf/Joseph was born, and hence from the bloodline of Prophet Ishaq came many Prophets like Dawood(David), Sulayman(Solomon), and then the last one being Prophet Isaa/Jesus, (who muslims believe is Alive under Allahs Protection in Heaven and will return when Allah wills.) From the Son Ismaeel/Ishamel, there is only one Prophet who came, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Last of Allahs Prophets. Isaac and Ishmael are both loved and thoroughly respected by Muslims as are their Mothers Sarah and Hajar. Hope it answers the question. 💓

Ishmael AS is not the favourite son, he is the first son. For first son used to be the prime lineage, also Abraham was very old when Ishmael born. So it was a big deal. And Prophet Muhammad is believed from lineage of Ismael AS.
However Isaac AS stayed with Abraham AS. Jacob AS is from Isaac's lineage.

pretty great for a short video. 2 minor niggles though - (1) Ishmael isn't directly mentioned to be a favourite, but since Abraham does sacrifice him due to him being his firstborn, the implication is nevertheless there, (2) Eid al Adha is *the* most important day in the Islamic calendar, not just one of them

Few things to note: 1. Not every muslim is mandate to perform Hajj. Few condition must be met before you can do Hajj. i. You must be adult ii. you must be a sane person. iii. you must have enough fund to do the whole thing and living cost of your family. iv. Must be physically fit.
