playing cpu based games yes, but for these types of games which are gpu based it should run fine
***** That's a very old cpu, it will bottleneck a lot, BF3 is both CPU intensive and GPU intensive, but a processor under 4 cores will have extreme bottlenecking. You can upgrade to a AMD Phenom 2x4 965, it's not expensive and will work decently.
