I cannot wrap my head around that it’s been a year already since we lost Kobe, Gianna and the 7 others. My thoughts and prayers are forever with all the families and friends and everyone they left behind, I hope they know how loved and missed they’re by us all.
It amazes me when I've heard people say kobe was fast, but he wasn't that fast. He could jump high, but not crazy high. He was strong, but not that strong. Like he just got to where he did with hard work. We obviously know that was a huge part of it, and I can understand Kobe saying that about himself. But let's be real. He was more athletic than just about everyone else. He was tall, big, and strong for a 2 guard. Guys like Paul know what's up from having seen it. But some of these media guys and even trainers like Gary vitti (who said those things) just don't know for some reason. He was a freak athletically, mentally, and worked harder. The only thing you can say is his hands weren't huge like Mike's or kawhis.
If I'm 6'11 240lbs PF.. I wouldn't mind getting posterized by Kobe. I'd still keep trying to block his shots cos I know I'd get him one way or another. And Kobe would love that cos you respect him by challenging his skills.
