Aaron is that good man that women say that they want and then treat them wrong I felt so bad for him. And this shit with Zac Fatima and Karen is really messy now. Zac had sex with Fatima that morning and then not even 24 hours later he’s having sex with Karen at her salon and now they’ve all ran into each other at the grocery store smh. I thought we was gonna have to wait until next season for Fatima and Zac to be revealed but Christmas came early I see lol. Next season Zac gonna go back and forth with Karen and Fatima and it’s ridiculous. Tyler Perry’s writing is something I tell ya.
Hi @Hustlequeen Lee, I'm fairly new subbie, but I really love your reviews, and both last and this weeks reviews were spot on, I don't know why TP has regressed Karen's character especially since like you and a few others had high hopes for her and Aaron.....and yeah I don't know why so many ppl were hating on Aaron, when we know his flaw is alcoholism, and we saw when he slipped what almost happened with him and Karen, so I don't think he's shady, I think he tries to be above board 95% of the time, he's NOT perfect, he's flawed, just like everybody; and when he and Karen met he liked the challenged especially since at that time he was over his wife. But as I said last week under your post (I think) both Karen and Zac need to reflect and decide what and who they actually want; they definitely don't need each other, relationships built on and hangs based on sex don't last, there are more to relationships, they are too toxic....they may love each other but they're not in love with each other, its obvious its about the sex..... I too I'm so sorry for Aaron cause no one, whether man or woman should have to ever see what he did
@@DKing100 I really think TP gave these ladies the wrong age maybe they should have been late 20’s early 30’s to be still dealing with these type of men. As you go thru life and date you determine what type of man you want in your life and I would take a Aaron along with celibacy any day. I am also a spiritual person so I get the celibacy part and it’s definitely a state of mind you have to adapt to. Actually, that’s how I would like to start a relationship to get to know a man. There is no facade about who he is as a person. I dislike the saying ‘good guys finish last’ but it is so true and sad!
Andi, dogs Paris out for a married man. I don’t think Andi likes to be called on her sh*t and Paris questioned her so she doesn’t like that.

@@kellystewart1231 Lol...Aaron has no reason to be jealous of Zac and it's already been revealed that it was a woman who has been using Karen's credit card. So many people say that Fatima is better for Zac but the real question is, is Zac good for Fatima? Zac is the same person he's always been. He hasn't changed at all. The only difference is now he has more money.
Aaron is so mature - I love the way he handled the situation. We all wanted more for Karen SMH. As for the storyline/plot it's like taking one step forward and two steps back, no progress. It makes no sense.
You're absolutely correct. I watched in complete astonishment and disgust as she stated that she wanted Zac to come home, she wanted to be with him and give them another try. Even though she knew it wouldn't last. I was like, "What the hell did she just say?!" It made no sense as you stated. It's amazing how Karen was so strong and sure about her life and what she knew she was deserving of. Now, in the blink of an eye her toxic mindset has returned. Tyler destroyed a good thing between Karen and Aaron & for what purpose? Even though I don't believe their story is over, this was not the way to cause a rift between them.
@D A .... Absolutely!! I’m not getting Tyler’s angle here. We’re literally back to season one as he’s completely REGRESSED Karen’s character. She’s LITERALLY the ONLY character who’d shown real growth from season 1 until last week’s episode ONLY to have that progression “ripped to shreds!” Can we make it make sense? It’s simply not at this point. I’m really not getting it! But I was absolutely thrilled with Aaron’s handling of the matter.

@@DA-vj8nq It was incredibly weird and offputting. Tyler's writing really confuses me at times. I hated to see Aaron hurt like that but as you stated, I loved how he handled Karen & the entire situation. He wasn't moved or swayed by Karen's emotions and he stood on his principles. I respect that so much. Aaron is a real man. So many people want him to be this demon of a person and that's just not who he is.
I don't understand why they can't handle anything without calling their friends. It's like they can't sit still in their thoughts. They're extremely dependent on each other.

I can't wait to see what happens next either b/c that grocery store scene had me like, "Oh, hell nah." Lol...leave it to Tyler to end it when it was just getting good. I'm glad it's out and everyone knows who is who. Let me ask you this, do you think that Fatima is more in to Zac than he is to her? The reason I ask is b/c you stated that Fatima is good for him and I respect that but is he good for her? Their situation just seems off to me. I like Fatima and believes that she deserves better than Zac. I think she's done so much for him and it hasn't been reciprocated.
@hustlequeen lee I understand what you are saying I think he needs to be on his own finish this business with Karen focus and start to focus on hisself having his own for a while because he has never had that I think after he do that he will be ready for Fatima but yes even though I would luv to see him and Fatima together your right it has been one sided!!!!!

This show is holding up a mirror for a lot of ppl, women & men, to see how crazy they really look out hereb in these streets. Even those that consider themselves strong, like Fatima, are not always making the smartest decisions when it comes to personal relationships.
I'm just ready to see more of Aaron next season. Karen will have to wisen up and realize what she's doing since she said "Zac will be back to his antics a month after we reconcile". She knows they're not good fur each other. So I want to see her actively pursue Aaron

Season 3 shall prove interesting! 🤨 Do you really think 🤔 Karen will allow Zac to move back in with her? After her recent decision making, I have not a modicum of faith in her currently. Next episode “In the Shadows,” the synopsis states “Fatima will put her new love 💕 interest out of her 🏡.” One ☝🏼 guess on where he’s running 🏃🏽♀️? 🧐 Karen’s!! She did tell the girls she wanted him to come back home (so utterly ridic.).
I believe Karen might be triggered by seeing Zac with Fatima & that grocery store encounter will only serve the purpose of her desire to want him back all the more, but not for sound reasons; just because she can as he did with her regarding Aaron. At this point, I have so little faith in her, it wouldn’t be shocking to see her continue down this deep, dark rabbit 🐇 hole 🕳 leading to nowhere, but a dead 💀 end. But we shall see! We’ll see if she’s able to redeem herself sooner rather than later. Karen was my fave Sista, but she’s been very disappointing these last two episodes. 🤦🏼♀️ I have personally put her on hiatus like Aaron. 😅 LOL!!
Karen shouldn't be mad about Zac and Fatima either. She knew Zac was involved with someone...Dannie told her. I don't even like the gary and andi storyline at all. Sabrina and calvin storyline sickening as well. I love Dannie and preston...that's my girl. Seems like she's the only one who makes alright decisions with men.

Sis, she definitely doesn't deserve him as of now. Karen is still my homie, but she's the type of woman who claims that she wants a specific type of man then when that man came in to her life, she realized that she had to up her game and she wasn't willing to do so. I am a strong believer that we can't ask for what we refuse to become ourselves.

Tyler Perry can't figure out what to do with Calvin, Sabrina, and Maurice storyline he writes the same thing over and over every season and I'm sick of that storyline
Aaron is a very mature man and I'm glad that he handled the situation in that way instead of fighting or getting mad and I think that he is going to give Karen another chance for the simple fact that he told her he's going to give her some space to figure things out

Awww....thank you, sis. I agree with you 100 percent. I believe Karen was definitely taken aback to find out that Zac was the man who Fatima was telling her about. The same for Fatima because Karen had mentioned briefly about her ex when Fatima came to the shop. Lol...yes. It comes off as if Tyler has reached a dead end with the story line of Sabrina, Maurice and Calvin. Almost every episode Maurice is telling Sabrina and Calvin not to come to him regarding their situation YET he is always in their business. Aaron handled the situation exactly how I thought he would. Even though Zac and Aaron have thrown hands before, I don't know how much longer Aaron is going to allow Zac to disrespect him before stepping to Zac, man to man. Lol...Fatima has been doing exactly that. It's interesting to watch this woman, who so many people deem as this strong, boss character acts completely desperate when it comes to Zac. I'll never understand the Zac craze. All i see is a grown boy, who refused to control his penis.
@@AliNicOfficial I am with you on the Karen being stunned when she found about Zac and Fatima and vice-versa. But what really has me tripped out is the discombobulation of Karen and Zac statements...Karen tells Aaron she wants him, she didn't want to him say " I'll give you your space ". But within an hour she is telling the Sistas that she loves Zac, she wants Zac to come back home even though she know within 1 month, it will be same old 🤬with Zac. And Zac pleading with Karen, saying he loves her, but on next week episode, Fatima will ask him if he's still feeling Karen and he says no. Who can turn feelings on and off so easily....the characters TP create dialog for..Let's hope and pray the writing did improve for season 3. Like you said in an earlier review, this should be the season where the growth of characters should be hitting its stride. If I was writing for these characters. I would have Karen sit in the mess she made so can do introspection of herself. Completely purge her being of Zac. And discover the beautiful butterfly she truly is. For man-child aka Zac, he would do like he said, and get his own place, continue to work in the Chain Breakers, seek counsel from a male mentor, and learn how to do it for himself and not always need the aid of a woman. @@covered67 Awww... thank you and I receive all the best and abundant blessings that you speak of. The same to you in all of your endeavors. The exact thing that you speak of, left me in a state of brief confusion. I chalked it up to lazy writing because none of what Karen said made sense. Sometimes I believe that Tyler forgets what he writes. Mainly because they film out of sequence I believe he forgets but that's no excuse. It's damaging to the overall show and it throws the audience off. I think everyone was thrown off by Karen's sudden narrative change and just as you've stated, next week Zac will do the same. I agree with you 100% that Karen needs to deal with self. Even though the words were never spoken, I believe Karen and Aaron love each other. The emotion that she showed in that moment was of instant regret and dealing with the realization that she may have lost Aaron for good. Which I don't believe their story is over yet. I am glad that Aaron didn't allow her tears or his feelings for to sway him out of doing what's best for them both at the moment. It's sad that he desires more for her than she wants for herself. Like you, I hope that season 3 brings some perspective

@@GlamQueen728 I will agree that Zac is in a much better position financially which has everything to do with Karen mom's boyfriend, Chirs for introducing him to Chain Breakers. As far as him moving on...that doesn't prove to be a fact. He poured his heart out to Karen telling her how much he loves her. He's been playing Fatima. Fatima has done so much for him and it has not been reciprocated. Many people state that Fatima is good for Zac but my question is, is Zac good for her. Fatima and Karen both deserve better than Zac.

That angle wouldn’t make sense as Aaron is principled, is abstaining & Fatima wouldn’t be down for that whatsoever which she made clear when she & Karen were chatting while Karen was doing her hair after her night with Zac in the shower 🚿. We'll still get to see Aaron b/c he filmed for season 3. I don't believe Aaron and Karen's story is over just yet. Lol... you know what, I wouldn't put it past Tyler regarding Aaron and Fatima but Fatima loves penis too much and even though the words were never spoken, I believe Aaron is in love with Karen.
I must say I 100% agree with you. I think Aaron handle himself maturely as a man. Cause as her counsellor, he controls himself well and didn’t snap. Karren on the other hand is weak and need to clear her mind, tough, and get herself together. But in overall the Episodes are beautiful. Somehow I kind a like Fatima for Zack, in someway she’ll straighten Zack out and help him to grow up.
The regression of the characters is to support material/storylines for Season 3.

Lol...I do agree that Tyler's choices and the directions of his story lines pisses us all off at times. How did Fatima put Zac on his feet though? Chris, Karen mom's boyfriend put Zac on to Chain breakers not Fatima. I personally believe people give Fatima too much credit. Zac is the same exact person that he was with Karen. The only difference is, he is in a position to make a lot of money.

The comments are on point. TP never uses the elements of a story in his writing. It's just introduction, climax and falling action...every single time without a resolution! I was devastated for my boo Aaron. He was definitely mature in the moment as well as to show Karen a bit of grace! I was my feelings just a little bit. Fatima's face and all the Zac riders was cracked and on the ground at the grocery store. Let's be clear Karen like stuff easy and don't want to put in the work because Zac is easy is not worth it that's so elementary school. Aaron had a lot of drama but he has a since of complexity to him like graduate school. TBH, I think that Andi's college man will arrive in season three. Did Karen really take a pretend hoe bath? Who stole the money from her we need receipts so that's That. The grocery store scene was awkward af but now we really have a situation.I am tired of Calvin and Maurice plus one Sabrina. I am so glad to be in a conversation community Aaron empathizers. Karen and Aaron will reconnect because of Andi and Gary.All American would be an awesome show to review. I LOVE Snowfall. Amazing show. I've been asked to review it but I'm a lil skeptical about reviewing shows in the middle of the season. There are 10 episodes this season and next week will be episode 7. I'n not sure if I should start there or wait until next season. I haven't watched Delilah yet but I plan to watch over the weekend. Lol...Yes. The elements of story telling are there for a reason. It will be great whenever Tyler decides to use them. When Aaron took that slow walk, sat down and bowed his head...it just did something to me :-( Aaron handled the situation exactly how I thought he would. I appreciated seeing someone on the show who wasn't moved by emotions. I loved that he didn't allow his feelings for Karen or her tears to sway him from doing what was best for them both. As of now, Karen is the type of woman, who desires a certain type of man yet won't do what's necessary to rise to the occasion to receive that man. I'm not saying that Karen is wrong for wanting to experience Aaron on a sexual level b/c she isn't but when she realized that it was becoming too difficult to hold out, she should've told him. At the same time, Aaron literally told her that he wanted to talk to her about the whole celibate thing. I think he was going to bend on his stance for her. Lol...yes. From what we were shown, Karen took a pretend hoe bath. I loved the grocery store scene. Now that everyone knows who is who, I'm ready to see what happens. Listen...Those of us, who are Aaron fans are truly the minority. The character gets so much hate. Aaron isn't perfect but he hasn't shown anything to make us believe that he isn't the person he's been portraying the entire time. I hope we see this college boyfriend. Baby boy has been getting so much notoriety and he hasn't appeared on the show yet. The story of Karen and Aaron is far from over. Even though the words were never spoken, I believe he loves her. He's not going to let her that go easily but he will honor his word and give her space. You and and a few other people have mentioned how some reviewers drag the show or make their reviews comedic. I had no idea until a listener sent me some links to a few reviewers. For me, the foundation and core of Sistas is beautiful. This show has the potential to be a gem for Tyler yet he allows his mediocre writing to take away from the special-ness of the show. I've watched many of the actors on other things and they great. Ebony Obsidian is the most versatile talent on the show. That young lady is amazing to only be 26. KJ Smith is amazing as well. I know that the talent can only perform what's on the script.
I could not rate this episode because Season 2 has not lived up to the hype that has surrounded it. Despite Zac's disrespect, Aaron handled that situation with Karen like the real man that he is. Episode 21 - solidified what I had been thinking all along - Karen has not changed - the only things that have changed about Karen are her hair and clothes that is it. Karen lacks the intelligence, class, and maturity to deal with a man like Aaron. She is not the woman for Aaron. Karen does not have the ability to level up for Aaron but she has the capability of dumbing herself down for Zac. It is sad that Aaron sees Karen's worth and what she needs but she doesn't. Karen should have told Aaron that she could not abstain from sex - at 36 years of age a person knows what they are capable of - she had sex with Zac the first chance that she got. Karen had the gall to tell Aaron not to say that they cannot see each other anymore; she is not in love with Zac; her heart is with him (Aaron); and that she doesn't want space. But she told her girls that she is in love with Zac and wants him to come home. She walked around the grocery store laughing at what Danni was saying about Zac's d*ck as if she had not hurt Aaron almost as if Aaron does not exist. Karen should have been completely honest with Aaron. I am assuming that in the midst of competing with Fatima for Zac, Karen will realize that she has made a mistake regarding Aaron. When Aaron told Karen "I'll see you around" I hope that means he doesn't want to see her again - at this point he cannot trust her. Aaron deserves better. And Karen will get exactly what she deserves........................................ Zac.

Season 2 definitely has not lived up to the hype. I remember when the cast were doing their press runs for season 2 and they all were like, "Y'all are in for some fire. Season 2 is going to blow your minds, etc." Season 2 has been predictable. Aaron handled the situation exactly how I thought he would. It takes a strong and mature person to extend grace in a moment such as that. Zac called Karen a bit&h and hoe when he assumed that she had sex with Aaron. That assumption came from Zac seeing Aaron's car parked outside of Karen's building all night. Not knowing that Aaron simply rested his head on Karen's lap as he slept. The toxicity that exists between Zac and Karen is disgusting to say the least. Tyler pissed me all the way off when he changed the narrative of Karen's feelings. I honestly don't know where he's going with this but it made No sense. A lot of the writing for this season has been lazy. Lol... I wish you guys could've witnessed the look on my face when Karen told her girls what she wanted with Zac. If it wasn't for the sake of me destroying my television, I would've thrown something. I agree with you, wholeheartedly, as of now, Karen is not the caliber of woman who should even place herself in Aaron's path. He's someone who was offering the world and she prefers to settle with someone whose only offering what's dangling between his legs. I can't even deal with sis right now...

My level of PISSOSITY was at its’ HIGHEST level because Karen was making no sense. I’m sure you read my summation that I wrote before listening 🎧 to your review because I just needed to vent & express my thoughts/feelings. I didn’t comment again after listening to your recap because we’re both on the same page 📄.
I looked so forward to seeing Aaron/Karen together. Not only did they have a cute dynamic with one another, you could see the development of a relationship that was blossoming; one that was substantive & meaningful. How did we go from that to their world 🌍 being blown up due to Karen’s poor lapse in judgement?!?! I’m sooooo HOPING there is a point to this sheer & utter MADNESS 😡. I’m REALLY hoping! But as of now, Aaron deserves more & that more isn’t Karen. She’s still in high school trying to get her diploma when he’s in grad school about to get his Ph.D. In the famous words of ‘Sweet Brown,’ “ain’t nobody got time for that!” 😁 LOL!!
I do agree with you that the pause button has been hit, however, this is not the end of their story, but my question (rhetorical) is, will Karen’s reckoning come sooner than later as far as her really sitting with herself, dissecting her feelings/thoughts in terms of how she really feels about Aaron. I think she feels for him a lot deeper than even she realizes at this point, but because she’s still in the mud with Zac, she’s stuck in a heavy fog which obscures your ability to see clearly. I still believe Karen desires more for herself & I really believe she desires that more with Aaron. It’s unfortunate she’ll have to travel 🧳 to several countries in her own being before drawing the conclusion for herself we all know she already knows. 🤦🏼♀️
I heard what you said toward the end of the review about Karen’s potential mini reckoning seeing Zac @ the grocery store with Fatima, but frankly, my faith in Karen’s decision making has dwindled so much over these last two (2) episodes Hustle, I think 💭 she’ll deem this as a challenge & will further go down this deep, dark, toxic rabbit 🐇 hole 🕳 with Zac. Here’s the thing, how MANY times did Dani tell Karen when she was “up in arms” about this credit card 💳 shenanigans that Zac was seeing someone? I can recall three (3) times off top. When Zac hunched her, he knew she was seeing Aaron; just as he knew he was having after dark relations with Fatima; my point, we never have to count on Zac being standup in any instance because it’s not who he is so it wasn’t shocking he never said one word to Karen about it, but she’s the foolish one because she was aware of this. So although she’s our girl (whom I’ve personally given a break), she should have NEVER put herself in that position. Period!! She allowed class to walk out of her front door for an 🤬ss! 😣 Make it make 🤬 sense Tyler.
Karen KNOWS “all roads lead to nowhere” with Zac. She said it AGAIN this episode & has been spouting that verbiage all season long to Andi so did she suddenly get hit by a foreign object on the head & has lost her sensibilities? 🤔 Or is this a mere reaction; her falling back into this old pattern because Aaron walked away? It makes me wonder. I observed how hard she cried when Aaron told her he was giving her space. Despite what she’d just done, she did not want to stop seeing him. Those tears weren’t tears of someone who wasn’t truly vested emotionally in another human being.
I agree Karen acts out of a place of pure emotion which can be both a pro & con, but in this scenario, it’s definitely a con as she’s NOT thinking. When Fatima puts Zac out of her house 🏡 next week, Zac is going directly to Karen’s house 🏠 (pathetic). Trust me!! And because she told the girls she wanted his stupid 🤬ss to come back home 🏡, don’t be shocked if she allows it. I’m actually expecting it since her self worth appears to be in the toilet 🚽 presently.
I’ll end here ... I’m still so irritated with episodes 20/21 that I’m not remotely looking forward to this finale, but I’ll be watching nonetheless & will be on the lookout for the finale review. Sorry I got carried away with my comment. 😊 Have an awesome weekend!! ☮️

Karen REALLY need to be by herself to “dig deep;” do some much needed self reflection & get some introspection. It’s sad that her take away from that entire conversation with Aaron was that he told her “she should be with Zac.” 😐 That’s so NOT what I heard the man say, but okay girl. What I heard the man say was ... “You need to figure out where your heart 💜 is in all of this because half of your heart ❤️ is with me & the other half is clearly with him.” Basically... wake the hell up & get your 💩 together. Deuces!✌🏽
Aaron knew Karen wasn’t where he was emotionally, but he cared enough about her to wait for her to catch up; meeting him where he was. Despite wanting Karen to “see some semblance of the light” & decide to move fwd. with him, at this point, Aaron is actually better off without her. He’s the one who deserves better. He’s the one who deserves more. Aaron is entirely too evolved for Karen & despite having said he’s everything she wanted in a partner, she’s not ready for a man like Aaron at this time in her life. So if Zac is what she wants (really doubtful), “good luck 🍀 with that!!” It didn’t work for 3 toxic yrs. & it won’t work again. This situation was a classic case of self sabotage; not deeming oneself worthy of more. Karen’s only interest in Zac @ this point is the 🍆. That’s my opinion.
If you love 💕someone, but aren’t in love with them (as she’s continued to say this entire season), why would you want them back when you are CLEARLY aware of what the ultimate outcome will be? SMH! 🤦🏼♀️

Zac is a good man! He is the type every woman needs so they can appreciate the other side when they get a chance to meet him or her. Yes, I said her! Zac is just a broke down Leslie... He is on his come up in season 5 or 6, you just wait for it! Imagine your choice of women is between two women who always discuss how they need money...... This why ladies and gentlemen, we seek partners who are on the same financial, mental, and and emotional level that we are because we rise and fall together! Instead when either of those women fall, Zac going to go AWOL.

Great review! This episode was pretty good. There were some duds ... ex: Sabrina and Calvin, Andi being stubborn and oblivious, and Zac’s horrendous attitude toward Aaron. I wish that we saw who charged up the credit card (TP did us wrong on that one). I’m glad that we got to revisit the grocery store from Season 1 and that we got a little sister circle hugging moment (even though nothing’s really changed). The reveal of Fatima and Zac to the group was good, but a bit underwhelming at the same time. Karen and Aaron’s scene wasn’t bad. Glad to see Zac flourishing in his new job, even though his relationship with Fatima might be nearing its end. Karen did have an unfortunate regression (though it didn’t really upset me as much it did to other people). Sabrina and Danni were really funny throughout this whole episode.

Preview Analysis: This doesn’t seem like it will be a good finale, but instead it will probably just be another regular episode. I look forward to seeing Sabrina and Jacobi. Why are we dealing with Calvin next week; please let it lead to something, TP, and don’t establish what we already know. Looks like Fatima and Zac are going to be separated for a while (synopsis reveals this). Gary and Andi moving in together is a bad idea, but of course Andi sees nothing wrong with this. There seems to be a lack of Karen next week. Glad that we get to see Preston again (unfortunately Danni’s going to make things more complicated yet again).
Yessssss! I’m a new subscriber. I’m so excited to have found you. I am late with watching this show. I really enjoy how you dissect each characters part. I must admit I am emotionally drained from watching. I’ve came to the conclusion that every single person including Aaron needs to attend Kevin Walton’s Spiritual retreat..lol. It’s just that I was really for Karen and Aaron because it gave the show a balance. Now I just don’t know if the show is worth watching 😂😂
I agreed with Gary about Andi, too!!! I also agree with you about Karen, not being a bad person, just a human! She isn't spiritual to a point of abstinence. She isn't taught in the Word. I am, but Chile, it isn't always easy! Your body is built to desire sex and we are often meet temptation!!! You have to stay away from being alone with a man to handle it. Like you said, a lot plays into it. It depends on what you're dealing with, at the time, as well. She and Gary have hot sessions, she's experienced, that leaves her wide open, if she doesn't take a cold shower or something! We need to tell the truth and be realistic. You don't pass every test!
"You don't pass every test!" Is a whole Word. I, personally have been on both side of the coin. I have lived a life of celibacy before and I dated a guy who was celibate when I wasn't. Both situations were incredibly challenging. I can respect Tyler for highlighting the flaws within these characters however, he exaggerates these flawed natures to the point of them coming off as unrealistic. I agree with you that we need to tell the truth and be realistic about these truths and the strength and tenacity it takes to live a life a celibacy. I really wish he would've shown more of Aaron's struggle to be around Karen and abstain. He made it look too easy on Aaron's end.
There are so many unanswered questions about all the characters, especially Fatima. Without question, Tyler needs to address that awful relationship that Andi had in college and what drew the four of them together so tightly surrounding that bad relationship. They all bristle at the thought of it and band together out of fear of repeating it.
Danni....if Preston has paid the $1100 rent for 3 months, why are you also tacking on all these other bills...easy Sis....

I'm glad that you enjoy the reviews. You along with a number of other people have made the same statement to me about other reviewers, who drag the show. I had no idea until a listener suggested a few reviewers to listen to. I was shocked to say the least after taking a listen. I will agree that Sistas isn't the most well flushed out show and there are many holes and questionable dialogue however, the foundation and core of the show is beautiful. Tyler has a gem yet I don't believe he truly understand the impact that the show is making in the community. I have many pet peeves in regards to the show however, I try not to allow it to blind me of the overall beauty that I see within the show. I have yet to see the "good side" of Gary as well. There isn't a good side and if there is one it's buried deep, deep, deep down inside, lol. As far as the credit card...Pam used her own money to purchase the items that she sent to the hotel. You hit it on the nail with, "she wants Zac for sex and bc she doesn't have to work for him..bc she doesn't have to grow for him." That's exactly how I feel. For any woman to be with Aaron, has to be willing to compromise in certain areas. I'm not saying that Karen's desire to be with Aaron sexually is wrong b/c I'd be in the same boat however, when wanting more and wanting something different than the usual, it comes with sacrifice. I do agree that Fatima got caught up and never expected to develop feelings for Zac. Lawd...I've been there. Her inability or refusal, I'm not sure which is the correct description as of yet to tell Zac her truth has alot to do with what she's going to experience. The only reason I don't believe that Fatima is the most stable of the women is because I honestly feel she's just like them. They are all on point when it comes to their business but when it comes to men, they are all weak in that area. Fatima comes off as this strong character yet when it comes to Zac she has become extremely desperate. She begs and pleads with him to spend time with her. There's nothing wrong with a woman being assertive or even aggressive at times but not to the point where you have to lure a man into being with you.

In real life neither Karen nor Fatima can be too angry about what happen with Zach, the story is written crazy Fatima knew zach was still into his ex and Karen knew he was with someone new. The whole story is crazy I am just not getting too invested cuz smh

Yes. Something is just so off with Calvin. That entire scene just had me like, "Tyler is seriously trying to convince us that Calvin is not gay." I don't believe he's gay but he continues to show traits that are questionable in my opinion. I'm honestly sick of Calvin. We've been dealing with him since season 1 episode 1. Tyler needs to add something to make him interesting because the whole sexuality story line is played out.

I can give her a pass on this one because she wasn't attached to Aaron or Zac during this time when she called Rico. However, I can see why you brought this up. When Karen is horny, she makes questionable decisions about her life

I'm disappointed at the direction Mr. Perry has chosen to take these storylines. An with all these comments and reviews here we are. Season 3 has already been filmed y'all. An if I know TP like I think y'all better believe season 4 through 6 has also been written. This show has the potential to be great for many seasons to come but, not if Mr. Perry keeps refusing to hire writers. I initially wanted Dani to be the sista with the stable relationship and have it all. Overtime I started to like Karen and Aaron and thought...okay this will be the stable relationship. However, in true TP fashion everything and everyone is just a mess. I will say that Dani has grown on me. She's been on point with the sista's and very slowly getting on point with Preston. Dani just may be has had the most growth. Hey, I thought Karen was really showing growth and really appreciated her and Aaron storyline. Now everyone except Dani are back at square one. Say what y'all want but Dani and Preston have moved forward in a good way. Everyone else just 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

I like Preston & am hoping Dani’s insecurities & other issues don’t cause him to walk away as Dani can sometimes be a lot. Lastly, although I personally enjoy reading the individual comments 😀, I also feel your idea for the live chat suggestion is a GREAT idea! Karen has been pissing me off for quite a few episodes now. Locking zack up when she was suppose to wait on video footage. Not to mention she threw his grandfathers stuff on the street. Did all that just to end up sleeping with him again. She judged her friends as if she was holier than thou. But in reality, she’s no better than any of them. Now she’s acting like she has an issue with Fatima who OWES HER NOT A DAMN THING!! Karen was in denial about truly moving on from Zack. And she knew deep down he didn’t steal that money. Yet, she pressed those charges anyway to convince herself she didn’t love him anymore. She’s been screaming fuck Zach and how she doesn’t care that he’s moved on... until she meets the woman he’s moved on to.
You all forget that Fatima also referenced being with the "Darryl" guy at the same time as "Danny" and remarking about his sexual prowess. Now, I think that Fatima likes their friend group and is what complicates things for her.
Didn't forget about that remark at all. That's one of things that I discuss frequently because it allowed me to see Fatima's weakness. She likes men who are projects. Any woman who would allow a crack head to steal from her simply because his "D" game is good, reveals a lot about that woman. I do agree that Fatima likes the ladies' bond. She stated that when they all went out to dinner and it will complicate things now that everything is out in the open

Aaron is a minister. He belongs to a church. He doesn't have his own church. I think Karen's reaction would've been more dramatic if it was the first lady on the surveillance video. Fatima already knows that he had sex with Karen. The girls told her at the grocery store. Zac isn't going to have a choice of staying with Fatima because she's going to put him out (according to the episode's synopsis) Danni is always a wild card for me. Every time it looks like she's making progress with Preston, she allows her insecurities to get in the way

I don't think this is an episode I can give an opinion on. It was a lot of self reflection in the female mind and i think I am going to keep it that way. The only thing I can say is if I was Aaron, Zac wasn't yelling at me to shut any door. Zac don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, yet he really was believing the salon was owned by him. We should call him Jorge, since his name is on the moniker! I would have left it open for the world to see, no reason to hide in the closet. If their lust or infatuation is what they say it is, let the rest of the world know and celebrate in their joy. Secondly, Zac is a bum! Holmes was really planning not to stop? And Karen was going to let that under the overpass bum ejaculate in her? You know what, Aaron better than me in all kinds of ways. Zac would have gotten the business later and not because he had sex with Karen but for the disrespect he has. Zac cracks me up because he never has that same hustle towards Hayden but always popping in the jaw towards Aaron.

@@AliNicOfficial I am not saying he has to fight but even Jesus had times when he showed discontent in a physical projection. I would have been satisfied with even Aaron just standing his ground in silence to assert that he is not weak. Aaron just came off as a sheep and not the shepherd. Sheep eventually get led off to slaughter, so I needed it to be reaffirmed that he can be submissive to Karen without Zac playing dominance over him. I enjoyed the whole episode except the last 15 mins, I felt like Karen was symbol of what happens when a woman doesn't know her value and made to believe that it is okay to be comfortable in misery, pain, and uncertainty. I just felt it played out wrong. You can have sinned and still repent. You can give wisdom but still live in your own judgement. It was like Tyler said when a sinner falls they submit fully to their demons with no recourse of being able to pick themselves up. We all know a saint is just a sinner who falls down.

Pam is definitely all those things that you stated and I can see your perspective. It felt as if Tyler used her messiness to break some of the tension in that scene. I just wanted to see and feel all the emotions that was associated with Karen & Aaron without Pam.

I don't think fatima should be mad about karen and Zac. Zac asked fatima we're they getting serious, and her response was " I don't know yet". And not only that...in the episode where Zac was upset because after learning from his co-workers fatima was involved with hayden, She was acting like ok...yeah, that was the past and it's none of your business. Zac was asking her questions like are you coming back alone, are you going to meet a man... fatima said " if I want to". They were not in an exclusive relationship, she made that clear.
The girls all know Pam. When Danni and Sabrina initially received the surveillance and photos, they would've been able to tell that it was her. Even when Karen saw the footage, her reaction would've been different if it was Pam. So, it's definitely not Pam. More than likely it's someone that we don't know yet

Truly loved your review. It recapped everything perfectly and was quite comically done in parts. I agree with everything you stated, except, I still feel there's something controlling and shady about Aaron. Yes, he appears to be a good man, but-umm...hmmm. Can't wait for him to be truly revealed. Andi is sooo Dumb!! But, at the same time, she's "trying" (in little pieces) to pay attention to what's going on this time around with Gary. This Finale is going to be some- thing!!

Addendum...My feelings about Aaron stem from the very first time he and Karen met in a grocery store. He was truly rude and controlled the conversation in telling her what kind of woman he liked. Karen hadn't even looked or expressed her desire to be interested in him. He was waaay too pompous in persuing her on his terms. However it was done, I didn't like him initially for this. There have been other instances in which he seemed he wanted to be in control and expressed how Karen should feel. And...I don't like him controlling when she can have her sexual needs met. THAT plucks my very last nerve. I'm sorry that I can't recall specific moments that he would show he was trying to control her. But, He tried it recently when Karen was making arrangement the girls to meet up at Andi's. Just him leaving the bedroom and coming back to her door to ask what arrangements she was making for the girls to meet up bugged the heck outa me.
@@miriamwalton5969 I was a little late to the ball game when Hustle started making reviews on this show. I can see how a woman could see that realm of possibilities with Aaron but I don't think that is what he is truly projecting. Yes, what Aaron said then was kind of bias, in fact, it was detrimental to the psyche of black women. It made them seem as though they are aggressive or asking for more than other women. When that moment happened it resonated with me because I have been looked at as that guy. Aaron was polite to her in the beginning but when she took his kindness as objectification, he felt offended and hit her back with a stinger. She didn't hold back afterwards but what made that moment great was the fact they could mediate how they were projecting feelings meant for other people at each other and reconciling over ice cream. I know at times Aaron comes off nosey, judgmental, or even as you say controlling but I believe it is because he is trying to fix Karen's fractures or at least the ones he knows about and those she is willing to let him repair. As for the sex, I see no problem with it because I felt her value was more than sex. Sex is not a necessity, it is a want. But what is the harm in waiting for a woman to transform into her future self to want to connect in more than a physical state? I mean, isn't a relationship meant to push each individual to evolve through sorrow and joy then connect to be each other's safety net? Then again I could be wrong, and you could be right 👨🏽🦱
@@redmanjohnson4616 I am so confused! Fawn told Karen that Aaron was a good man and that she was the one who ruined their relationship. She slept with his bestie. Like come on, I will give you that we don't know Aaron because he still has mysteries to him but so does every other character. A good man is not dependent on your car, your job, or your house. It is your integrity, confidence, character, the fact he can say I have made my mistakes and every day I am working to fix my own fractures, his moral compass, and his convictions. So much goes into being a good man and they are usually things you cannot put a monetary value on let alone buy. They are things that you either possess or not. Yes, he was married but did he not get a divorce, let alone were they not just acquaintances? Just because a man and a woman can sync on an intellectual level does not mean either is invested with each other physically or sexually. But hey, I could be wrong, I doubt it though!

Bruh every episode is whack I legit don't kno why I watch this show I'm literally laughing at myself. Like wth were they thinking putting Karen and Zach together again. Like I don't really feel Aaron sumn not right with that guy, but I love Fatima and Zach. Fatima don't date so technically she shouldn't be mad but it's just whack. Danny so right Sabrina needs to move the hell on from Calvin. Andy is crazy but I guess she gonna learn down the line. I like this review.
