    DR. Vandiver, thank you for a classic selection and explanation of the Cart ,Pendulum and the Direct Methods problems in Engineering Physics/ Dynamics. These problems are very important for the development of science and engineering.

    MIT should add the missing lecture on Energy Methods from either year. Otherwise fantastic course!

    I feel like you guys missed a week of lectures when you uploaded this, the previous lectures said nothing about energy methods, and this makes us really confused.

      You should view this on MIT OpenCourseWare at: ocw.mit.edu/2-003SCF11. We have a lot of supporting materials (notes, readings, lectures, problem sets with solutions) that makes this recitation easier to understand. Best wishes on your studies!

      @@mitocw No but really, the lectures are from a different year than the recitations and the problem sets. There is no lecture that covers any of this material. This course needs to be updated please
