This is my first amv, I tried the best I could to match the lyrics and show how loyal and dedicated Conrad truly is ♥
I'll always love Conrad, why do I always love characters that suffer so much 😭

It's sooo sad!! I mean, Conrad is one of the characters that suffered the most in a certain time. Having his people doubt about his fidelity because his half blood state, then knowing the person he began to love was engaged to someone else and after that loosing her without seeing her a last time... Let's not forget about his little brother who hated him for a big time....
Poor thing :(
You left out how he had to outlive his father who barely visited him and how he was a soldier in a brutal war for decades...
Conrad truly deserves to be happy for all that he has been through but the manga gave him a terrible ending. How much more does he need to suffer!? T.T
I'm currently reading the LNs and just reached the part where they narrate Conrad's past and I feel so bad for him. And despite all that he went through he always puts up a big warm smile for Yuuri. He truly deserves to be happy.
If I might add, in the LN Conrad mentions that he feels responsible for every soldier that died under his command, he feels that he was the one who ordered them to fight and die and regrets that he wasn't able to save even a single one of them. He says that it's his sin to carry. I can't even begin to imagine the burden that Conrad carries in his heart and despite all that he's so kind and gentle.
@Rinetto I've just started reading the novels. I recently realised I never looked at those whilst I was obsessed with the anime back in the day. I was wondering if I should continue since they've been on hiatus for a long time. But reading this comment has got me sold because I adore Conrad and want to know everything even if it's just more angst 😢
