Cool rocks and family bonding. I wanna go rock hunting now too even though I have no tools for jewelry making 😂
Sweet hunt! Thanks for showing the cuts at the end.👍🏻🍻🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
From one Canadian to another, cheers!
New subscribers here. Beautiful work you do. Enjoyable to watch. 👍
Next time, give the camera to Nolan, and he films you jump! Pleaseee!! Another awesome one guys 🥰
For those who had to look it up, Scots Bay is Nova Scotia.
Nolan has got some great strength and balance to be able to finish that leap! Thanks for taking us along on your rockhounding trip and for showing the cut rocks at the end. Nice!
Glad to see you had some time to get out for a hunt! The Scots Bay formation is truly spectacular. Love seeing what's inside those nodules ❤.
It really is!
Im a rockhound too!
That was so satisfying to watch! That beach never fails to deliver. I found the most amazing white banded agate last week. I also love the epidote and unakite on that beach, stunning. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Lucky!! I mine Herkimer diamonds where I live in upstate ny. Wanna trade specimens!?
Your translucent agate at 9:07 looks like obsidian, to me.
Beautiful finds! 😊
6:12 great find, very beautiful rock.
I have to say that I'm quite jealous not to have this kind of beach near my house.
Just bought your ocean jasper pop socket - very cool! Can’t wait to give it to my daughter for her birthday! Really like your channel - it’s new to me, and I’m hooked. Thanks!
Wonderful. Watching one of your "shows" is almost as good as being there with you.
Thank you very much! And thanks for coming along!
10.07 really cool .
Looks like surface of Saturn.
Have you created a set of chess pieces / set? That could awesome!
Wow amazing place for rockhounding this place is looks like our Indus River so many beautiful stones 12:45 nice jump thanks for beautiful sharing 😊
So many stones so little time
100% True!
You guys had a great day. So many good finds. Love it.
Such an incredible place to hunt. Love your videos.
That looks like fun. I live in MN and this makes me think of the Mississippi head waters. They have to ship in gravel couple times a year because everyone wants to take rocks as a momento. How close to the beach do you live ? My wife would be there all the time.
We live about an hour from this beach. Its a well known beach locally. I have been coming here for over 25 years and still never get skunked. Its a busy beach with lots rockhounders. Lots of rocks. It will never get exhausted.
@@RockhoundingLife very cool 😎
I wanted to take some rocks from a river in France but Gaulle Stones are hard to remove
Hey! another great video! There's a group of us on discord who were talking about your vevor faceting video. a bunch of us were actually interested in this faceting machine. We all hope you post an update video of it in use! We cant find much info on it.

What state are u in? Nice finds
Nova Scotia, Canada
Good Morning; I'm a Rock Hound myself. You are so LUCKY God I wish I had a Beach to go ROCK HUNTING on. I love all ROCK'S Especially Gemstones Cabochons Petrified Wood Arrowheads ETC.... Why do you want to cut those gorgeous Rocks in half? I don't understand why when someone goes Rock Hunting they get back home then they want to CUT the ROCKS? WHY CUT THOSE GORGEOUS ROCK?
I cut them because the beauty within is too much to pass up!
No one gives a schist anymore..rocks everywhere no one gives a schist...it is not gneiss at all.......
You guys found some beauties out there! When I win the lottery, I’m getting a passport and visiting Nova Scotia. That beach is awesome ❤
Such stones, cast into some kind of resin and ground plain and smooth -- that is the material of the floor in the Palazzo Ducale in Venise, Italy.
That is cool. I like working with stones and resin as well. Actually stay tuned for March 28ths video where I do just that!
You fou d some really nice rocks. I hope you tell us what the red rock was. See y'a next time.
Absolutely gorgeous finds Jason & Nolan! I'm really hoping to get out to the East Coast this summer (as long as the price of everything doesn't get too much more expensive after April 1st). I would love to join you & the boys to learn about the awesome geology & find some treasures. My daughter wants to bring you some Thunder Bay amethyst and some Bancroft Sodalite when we do finally make it out (my brother is getting married this June, but apparently, he's coming back to Ontario). Thank you for taking us along on a great hunt. Wishing you all a great weekend!!
Thank you my friend
I was just at Scots Bay last Monday & found some nice ones too! Love your channel & love seeing your great finds!
You can never get skunked at Scots Bay! Thanks for watching!

I so enjoy your videos, and what beautiful rocks. Can Yanks come to NS and collect a bit? Thanks good camera work also!
Absolutely you can!
@@RockhoundingLife What time of year is best , weather wise, to visit and collect in your area? A rockhounding vacation in Nova Scotia, on the beach, is just what this Desert Rat needs!
Those beaches would be so awesome to hunt!
To me, the raw unaltered rocks are gems, gorgeous the way they are.
Depends on your purpose and point of view, I guess.
Thanks for taking us along to your interesting and beautiful places.
As a kid, I was a rock-hound, always had my eyes on the ground & still do😂. I would have loved getting together with others who had the same interests plus knowledge, experience, and tools. Love that you can share this with your boys!!! Cheers!
Wow, you're sick for one day and you missed everyone's videos! You guys all found some real beautiful gems there! that beach had some gorgeous material, and will make some gorgeous jewelry! I cant wait to see those sagenite pieces cut open! I kove sagenite! Great hunt and i cant believe how big the boys are! Where does the time go? ❤ Wow, that purole sagenite was mindblowingly beautiful! Jusr amazing Jason!
I love how you can’t keep your eyes off the ground as you’re talking. That’s how you know a fellow rock lover!
You’re so lucky to be in the area to find agate!
I love the rock your son picked
Lol i noticed that too
To see you living your passion and sharing it with your family, it makes want to learn how to spot pretty rocks AND know their names. What a magnificent occupation you have. Thank you for sharing so much beauty with us. This really brings me joy.
I appreciate that!
