    When I was in 16 I wanted to play guitar, and when I got one, my step mother threw my new guitar in the dumpster and my amp, she waited until trash day and while I was away at school. I asked her why she tossed it, she said it was because she felt like it. It was probably the saddest and most heart breaking day of my life she snuffed out the light in my eyes. And ever since then I never picked up a guitar again, until I came across this channel and this guitar demo, Thanks @R.J.Ronquillo soon as I save some money Im gonna buy this guitar. oh and I watch this video almost everyday lol

      You're mom sounds like mine. I was abused like hell by her while growing up, she was fucking insane. I would buy one of those plastic model sets of a plane or ship and glue it all together, and when I was almost finished she would stomp on it. Or one time i became fascinated with model trains and saved up all my money and bought an N gauge train set and made a model of a little town on a piece of plywood about 3 X 3 feet and made a mountain out of plaster of paris and I came home from school one day and she said she sold it. Never saw it again. And BTW she was a hardcore democrat, which is why I hate those fuckers today with a passion, seriously hate them, they're all fucking insane

    Top notch. I've always wanted a Baritone since The Beatles in 1968, but always talked myself out of it. Just couldn't see laying out the bread for something I'd only play occasionally. Now almost 71 I'd still like one. Which means I spent a lifetime wanting one but never got it. Enjoy playing.

    I'm looking for a baritone and this is about the only place I go now for instrument demos...
    I appreciate this channel and R.J's presentation for various instruments.
    No talking, just the facts. Makes the demo about the instrument, not about himself. Good vibe.
    That seems to be really hard to find on YT.

    Sounds incredible - I noticed the bass run you did on the neck pickup as well - very versatile with a glassy top end on the bridge pickup. In a two guitar gig, I think one of these could negate the need for a bass player.

    I'm glad I bought the 66BT instead of the Rivolta Mondata, which sounds much more muffled and not as sparkling and vivid as the 66BT. The neck pickup of the 66BT has something piano-like to it, which I love about this guitar.

    • @Dooley_Noted
      @Dooley_Noted 2 роки тому +1

      So glad I saw this! I'm dipping my toes into the baritone world and have been looking at same Rivolta. I'm loving the sound of the Danelectro though. Thinking of following your lead here!

    • @danielleinad6019
      @danielleinad6019 2 роки тому +1

      @@Dooley_Noted The 66BT is a neck diver, though. It's not an ergonomic guitar. Just look at the odd body shape. But the tone! Delicious. But I'm currently playing my Squier Bass VI the most. I love the pickup combinations and it's better balanced than the 66BT.

    • @Dooley_Noted
      @Dooley_Noted 2 роки тому

      @@danielleinad6019 Can't lie, the odd aesthetic of this gets my attention for sure lol. I've peeked at the Squier as well but keep coming back to this and the Rivolta for some reason. But that tone is beyond killer.

    • @eltimbalerdelbruc1414
      @eltimbalerdelbruc1414 6 років тому +3

      Usually tuned to an A or B that are below a guitar that is in E. So to achieve an A or an B in a playable format, the scale length is longer usually between 26" and 30" and strings are thicker usually between 12 and 68. The baritone is kind of between a regular guitar and a six string bass

    • @innocentoctave
      @innocentoctave 6 років тому

      It has a longer scale. Even Danelectro's own site doesn't tell you what it is, but their Vintage Baritone is 29.75" / 728mm, so I'm guessing this will be similar.

      Something too many of us fall victim to is realizing that 90% of the sound coming out of our speakers it the musician, not the instrument. You don't need higher quality gear, you need to practice more. Great missions make a first act from walmart sound like gold.
