    What I did was clean the two sensors off with a dollar bill, a trick I learned from a furnace tech years ago, the two hex nuts on each side of manifold. Also put something over holes while cleaning because water will flow.

    Didn’t know if you would know the answer to this, when we first plug in the spa the temperature says it’s 118 F we then place the temperature we would like it to be which was 95 F and hit the heat button within minutes it’s says E96 error

    • @jbrown198522
      @jbrown198522  4 роки тому

      Crystal Williams yes you need to replace the temp sensor. There is 2. Low temp and high temp. Your high temp is bad. There is no exact replacement. You will just have to ebay one and wire it in.

      What i have done is take an old cheap pool pump with the filter in it. Pulled the filter out and the pump guts. Take a electric hot water heating element and modify the lid for it to fit into it. Make sure to get a 110v element. A 220 will work. But are more expensive. And if you do that get one that is double the wattage. It will only use have the wattage on 110. The 110 ones are around $20. Wire it up. Make sure to use ground neutral and hot with a 3 prong plug. Get a gfci for safety. Splice it into the hoses going to the pump from the tub. Run it. Make sure to crack open the lid a little to make sure all the air is out. Plug that in and with cover on i usually seen temps up to 112-115 depending on ambient air temps. The tubs element shuts off at 104. But the nice thing about doing this is when you are enjoying it and it gets down to 103. And both elements are running it holds the heat alot longer. Down fall is make sure its on its own circuit otherwise you could pop a breaker with both elements running. If you are not capable of making this and it be safe please dont. Its not worth playing with water and electricity. I just myself know what im doing. Also. If you dont want to tie into the plumbing on the tub pump. You can leave the pump together in the filter pump and just put the hoses over the side of the hot tub. Will just have to prime the hose to get it to start pumping.

    • @jbrown198522
      @jbrown198522  6 років тому

      Anthony Durant its a filter code. Or low water flow code. If your pump cant pump water fast enough it throws that code. Try changing your filters.

    • @ScareHollow
      @ScareHollow 5 років тому

      99% of the time the e90 code is a bad impeller rod. take out of the pump on the bottom (be careful removing screws and such as they can get messed up) and take the pump apart. inside you'll see the impeller (white with fins) pull it out(magnetized) and inside middle is a rod and it will most likely be in piece or worn down at spots. go to home depot with the rod from the pump and buy a brass rod (they sell them in like 3 ft lengths. cut it to the same length with a metal saw or a dremel with a cut off wheel and insert the new rod. don't forget the black rubber boots on both ends and this will work for about 2-3 months depending on often you change the filters. but the pumps cost $60 the rod costs about $5 and you'll get about 10 rods out of one stick so that will last a couple of years.

    Why not just replace the filters for a better quality only.. since that keeps the error away!?! Sorry I’m not a rocket scientist, but it’s just plane logic.

      These intext kits are great however like you I have had the same problems with the e 96 but like one of the recent people who dropped you a line my pure spa has no number 3 or 4 it is just 125678910 11 12 I guess cos so many people have had difficulty with this error code they have wired more recent models in a different way? I have noticed there is now a newer advert for this spa and the kit has changed there is now a RESET button on the screen control so maybe they watched your clip and decided they should do what you did but officially put it into the system.
      However this is no help to me as I still have a system which is clearly not wired up the same as yours but older than the newest ones. So my question to you is this , would you have any idea which wire to go into to put a reset switch on mine? I have no problem doing the job I’m no professional but I’m also not an idiot so I could work it out if only I knew which wires went to the heater circuit protector but I can’t work that out
      Any ideas bud?
      I’m in the UK

      you are for not understanding the problem. After unplugging from the wall the internal circuitry of the main board stays live for several hours. Electricity is stored inside capacitors and only after long time off grid the stored electricity flows away and the main board will be fully reset and free of errors.
